TAKE IT TO A DEALER. SO I FOUND A MITSUBISHI DEALER (WHICH SERVICED A RECALL ON OUR 2008 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA - SEE BELOW) AND THEY SAID IT WILL COST A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS JUST TO LOOK AT IT. WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN RECALLED! I ASK. THEY SAID THEY DID NOT KNOW. THAT WE ARE NOT THE FIRST PEOPLE TO ASK. FOR THE RECORD WE ALSO OWN A 2008 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA X-SPORT WHICH WAS RECALLED FOR THE SAME REASON AND FIXED. THE MITSUBISHI DEARER ACULLY REPLACED THE LOWER PASSENGER SIDE SEAT. WHEN WE PICKED UP THE CAR I COUOD NOT HELP NOTICE A DUMPSTER OUT BACK OVER FLOWING WITH SEATS. THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY PROBLEM. WE ARE AFRAD TO DRIVE THE CAR AN DON'T HAVE HUNDREDS FOR THE REPAIR!!

I WENT TO A LOCAL TIME PUMP AND SET THE TIRE PRESSURE ON ONE TWO OF THE TIRES, WHEN I INFLATED THE THIRD TIRE THE STEM BROKE OFF AND MY TIRE DEFLATED. I THEN COMPLETED A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE FOURTH TIRE AND FOUND THAT IS WAS CRACKED AND LOSE . THE CAP WAS SPINNING AND WOULD NOT COME OFF. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO WHERE I PURCHASED IT AND THEY TOLD ME I FORCED THEM AND BROKE THEM OFF AND MADE ME PAY FOR THE REPAIR EVEN THOUGH THE CAR IS UNDER A BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY. I bought my XL7 close to a year ago and it's been the best car I've ever driven! I used to have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the AWD compared to 4-wheel drive, but it handles really well. I've never worried about getting places, even in pretty deep snow drifts. My husband has to keep reminding me about the speed limit because this car just wants to go! The ride is comfortable, and my Grandma likes it because it's easy for her to get in and out. I really hope Suzuki keeps making these because I'd buy this car over and over again!

I purchased the XL-7 because it was a great deal and my friend recommended it based on his positive experiences with an older model. When the lease was up, I decided to buy it outright! It has served me very well for over 11 years. Over the first 8 years, there was only a minor glitch (timing chain kit needed replacing) which was taken care of by the warranty, and I had to replace the hatch supports. Recently, I had to have the timing chain kit replaced again after only two years. Unfortunately, there was no warranty coverage this time and it wasn't cheap. It cost me $2000! Additionally, the wheel bearings on the front wheels also needed replacing, and the hatch struts had to be replaced again. Despite these issues, the car continues to be reliable. It seats seven adults, though the rear seat should be reserved for smaller folks or kids. I've had three teenage girls ride comfortably back there! It rides comfortably and fairly quietly, and it has an extraordinary number of standard features not usually found on a base model. It can also be used to haul a LOT of stuff if you choose to put all the seats down. The gas mileage is not great - 15-17 around town and 22-28 on the highway. But overall, it has been a low-maintenance vehicle and a great family car.

I was on the hunt for a new SUV to replace our family Caravan and had looked at many options. After exhausting just about every possibility and facing the prospect of paying over 30K for an SUV with all the features I wanted, I happened to catch a glimpse of the XL7 while eating at a fast food place. Although I hadn't considered Suzuki before, I decided to do some research and choose something a bit different. I have to say, I haven't been disappointed. The XL7 has been a fantastic SUV that fit well within my budget and has all the bells and whistles of much more expensive models like the Acadia, GMC, Tahoe, or Yukon.

I recently purchased a Suzuki with only 6,000 miles on it and I am absolutely loving it so far! Although I had never considered a Suzuki before, let alone test driven one, I knew it was the perfect car for my family as soon as I got behind the wheel. It has everything I was looking for, including heated seats, a moonroof, and a jack for my iPod - a feature that many other vehicles lack. I was able to get a fantastic deal on it, considering it was originally a $30k vehicle. The third row seats and the storage compartment in the back floor are particularly useful, and the second row seat has plenty of legroom. As someone who is 5'10, I appreciate that the seats are raised, making it more comfortable for taller individuals. Overall, I would give this vehicle an A+!

The SUV is quite comfortable, reliable, and performs well. It has good gas mileage, especially for a big SUV. Although the single CD player can be a bit quirky and may require servicing, it is a minor issue. I purchased this vehicle from a dealer as an Executive use vehicle with only 4,600 miles on it, and it has been well-maintained by the previous user. Overall, it is a pleasant and comfortable vehicle to drive, with good pickup when needed. I tend to drive under the speed limit on highways to save on gas, and the cargo space is quite good. While this particular model does not have a third row, I have no complaints. I have previously owned a Hyundai Sante Fe and a Nissan Xterra, but I prefer this SUV over both, although the Sante Fe is also a very good value for the price.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with my XL-7 car that I purchased three years ago. While I initially thought it was the perfect car, I found that after only 30,000 miles, I was ready to move on. Unfortunately, I experienced some issues with the car such as peeling paint, broken locks, and falling apart levers. Additionally, I found that the factory tires were not up to par. Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with my Suzuki car. When I was looking for a new car, I did a lot of research and initially didn't consider Suzuki. However, I found a great deal on a Suzuki with very low mileage, and since it was my first nice car, I decided to go for it. At first, I was really excited about my purchase, but unfortunately, after two years, I've been experiencing some issues. Recently, the paint on the roof and hood has started to crack and chip off in big chunks. I reached out to Suzuki, but unfortunately, they won't fix it because it's out of the 36,000-mile warranty. It's really frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend buying from them because of this issue alone. Thanks for listening to my experience!

After only 1.5 years of owning the car, the engine light came on and it started making noises, despite having driven less than 12,000 miles. The car has been at the Suz. dealership for 5 days for repairs, and they have now informed me that it requires an entire engine replacement, which will take another 7 days. Although they will pay $30/day for a rental car for 5 days, this will not fit my 3 carseats, which is why I purchased the 7 seater XL7. Unfortunately, minivan rentals are over $100 per day, which is a big inconvenience for a single mom with 3 kids. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased a Honda/Toyota minivan or SUV. It is worth noting that the car has had some minor issues in the past.
