- Summary: Airtex Products LP (Airtex) is recalling certain model E8598M, E8518M, E8600M, E8596M, and E8597M fuel pumps manufactured July 26, 2013, and July 29, 2013 and used as aftermarket replacements on Subaru Baja's, Outback's and Legacy's. The affected fuel pumps were sold or installed into the aftermarket applications on or after July 26, 2013, and may may leak fuel from the base of a fuel line connection when the gas tank is full.
- Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

With the new GT package, this wagon now has a more luxurious feel, making it one of the best values on the market. After searching for six months, we found that anything comparable cost $7,000 to $10,000 more. Finally getting leather in a wagon was definitely worth the wait. We paid $25,700 for it, which is slightly lower than the TMV model's reading of $26,300, highlighting what a great value this car truly is.

Here in L.A., this car is uncommon, which is great! It has excellent handling on city streets and canyon roads, providing a smooth and solid ride. You'll appreciate how quiet and comfortable it is in most situations. Unlike many 4 cylinder cars, there's none of the vibration when idling. The AWD gives it a heavy, solid feel that you'll love. If you're a fan of AWD, you won't want to miss out on Subaru. Keep an eye out for the '05 Legacy design!

I can totally relate to your experience with the Impreza and Legacy GT. In my opinion, the Legacy GT is a much better car in terms of handling and performance. It's amazing how it sticks to the road and allows you to keep up with high-end cars like Porsches and BMWs on mountain roads. I also had the chance to test drive one with an automatic transmission and I agree that the power complaints are valid. However, I opted for the 5-speed and it made a huge difference in terms of responsiveness. Another great thing about the '03 and '04 GTs is that they come with every option you can imagine, including an in-dash CD changer, heated leather seats with side airbags, heated mirrors, windshield wiper de-icer, fog lights, 16-inch wheels, moonroof, and more. It's definitely a rare find to come across a 5-speed Legacy GT with all these features.

I own a 2003 Subaru Legacy and I absolutely love it. Despite some issues with the head gasket and radiator, my husband has been able to fix it at a minimal cost. I bought it used 8 years ago and it has been a great car to drive. Even with almost 160k miles, it still runs smoothly. I am grateful to have such a reliable car in my life.

This car gets a lot of attention when we're parked anywhere! We have the Special Edition L and it has exceeded all of our expectations for a new car. Even in heavy rain, the handling on the highways is top-notch and we couldn't be happier with it!

I usually get around 20 mpg in the city and 24-28 mpg on the highways. Although I had to replace the clutch at 50K miles, which was a bit of a bummer, a local Subaru specialist replaced it with a heavier version. The notchy transmission could benefit from a 6th gear, and as someone who is 6'3'', the seats aren't the most comfortable for me. However, the car is a blast to drive on the winding Sierra highways, and the AWD is a godsend in the snow. While the engine could use a bit more power, it gets the job done if you use the whole power band and the 5-speed. If the second clutch lasts longer, I'll definitely consider buying the Recaros.

The braking system has been a persistent issue, causing damage to the rotors and discs. Additionally, the air conditioning system requires yearly recharging, and the heating system is not effective in heating the floor. The undercarriage has rusted out after only 5 years, which is a major concern. Although two pistons were replaced under warranty, the remaining two are now near failure and are not covered. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this vehicle to others.

This car boasts an impressive appearance and luxurious features, however, its performance leaves much to be desired. The acceleration is sluggish and the gas mileage is subpar. Despite these drawbacks, I remain confident in my evaluation and would not recommend this car for purchase.

I purchased this car because it was the most practical option for me - it has plenty of space and all-wheel drive for a reasonable price of $17,500. While I didn't initially consider the 'fun to drive' factor, I have found that it may not be the most exciting car to look at or drive. However, the all-wheel-drive is a great feature, even though it can be a bit power-draining. The power band on the car is a bit unusual, with the engine sounding great up to 3500 RPM and above 4500 RPM, but not so much in between. Lastly, I found the driver's seat to be a bit uncomfortable on long drives, as I prefer a harder seat with lumbar support.
