I would definitely buy this truck again and have two of them if I needed to. I really like this truck and I am happy with its functional capabilities, especially its size which allows me to go anywhere in any condition living in MN. While the professional reviews are accurate, there are a few things that they don't mention that I don't like. For example, I find the brakes to be a bit touchy and lacking in feel. Additionally, the accelerator can be a bit jumpy, which can be annoying when trying to get out of a parallel parking spot gracefully without hitting the car in front of me, especially in downtown Seattle on a hill. Overall, I still really like this truck and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and functional vehicle.

You've had quite a few vehicles in your driving life, including a Mustang GT, Maxima, several Nissan trucks, and now your second Xterra. It's great to hear that this vehicle meets all your current needs, especially with 4WD for winter commutes, getting to the back of the woods, and job sites. The cargo area is perfect for your furry friend, while the rear seats can accommodate gear or occasional passengers. It's impressive that you're enjoying the 6-speed manual and 260hp, which are perfect for you. The PRO 4X and Bilstein shocks make a BIG difference in handling and ride, which is fantastic. It's great to hear that you're getting 20.5 mpg with the manual, which is an improvement from your previous Xterra. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

Our first Xterra was a 2002 SE. We drove it for 209,000 miles with only a few repairs. I loved the tight turning radius, durable paint, and the feeling of riding high compared to other SUVs. The 2012 model is even better, with a more comfortable ride, a bigger engine, and more interior room.

The last of body on frame SUV (except Jeep Wrangler). You'll be pleased to know that this competent old school platform comes with new world reliability. I've owned this SUV for 3 years, and it still runs just as well as the day I bought it.

This vehicle is not ideal for long family trips with pets, unless you're planning to go off the beaten path. I have owned three XTerras, and my current one is the best yet. My first Xterra was a 2010 model, one step below the Off Road version. I bought it used, drove it for about 18 months, and then traded it for a new 2011 PRO-4X. I drove this one for about 3 years until I was able to order one exactly the way I wanted it. I never had any problems with the first two XTerras. I had them serviced when they were due, and the dealership where I bought both of them took very good care of me and my vehicles. I ordered a 2014 PRO-4X in late April of 2014 and took delivery of it on Father's Day weekend in June. It's the only one like it in the state, with the exception of one other PRO-4X. The owner of that one lives on the other side of the state. It has been very dependable, getting me anywhere I've wanted to go, and it has not been stopped by snow yet. I did put B.F. Goodrich KO2 All Terrain T/A's on it. The dealership where I bought it will take it back in trade in a heartbeat. The President of the dealership said he has people lined up waiting for the day I trade it in. It will never make the lot.

I recently purchased this car to replace my 2004 Discovery. While it looks cool, I have to say that it has been a disappointing experience. The handling in snow is the worst I have ever experienced and I had a negative experience with the Nissan dealership in Aurora, Co. I feel like I got ripped off with this certified car. If you're in the market for a new car, I would recommend spending the extra money to get a 4Runner. The interior is not very comfortable and the seats feel cheap and flat. Additionally, there are lots of creaks and vibrations from parts that sound like they're about to fail, but are certified

A month after I bought an Xterra, I took it through the car wash and water came through the roof.I took it in to get serviced and it ended up needing a major repair to the roof.Nissan ended up offering to repurchase the vehicle per the terms of the CO lemon law. They subtracted $945 for usage which I thought was a lot for 2 months of driving. They also refused to refund a few items on the purchase agreement saying they were Ânon Nissan items. The arbitrations woman, Denise C., claimed that Nissan and the dealership were different entities and was very rude and difficult throughout the process of me trying to recoup my money.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to let you know that I have a 2012 Xterra with only 47k miles that is currently in the shop having its transmission rebuilt. Unfortunately, there were no warning signs before the breakage occurred.

I was looking for a four-wheel drive to navigate Iowa's back roads during the winter with all the space of an SUV. My 08 Edge was not cutting it anymore. I really like my Xterra, but on windy days, I seem to sway as much as semis do because of the height of the truck. I thought I could overlook the lack of powered seats, navigation in the dash, or TVs in the headrests, but I can't. For the final price of all the options I could add, I wish Nissan would have allowed or given the choice of those three other options. I am surprised Nissan would not offer those unless you want a Murano. I am just really bummed over the limited options.
