- Summary: March 2023 I had all 4 rotors & brakes replaced. About 2 weeks after, doing 65 mph on highway 79 I had to lightly apply my brakes. After letting off the brake all of a sudden my whole car, steering wheel, etc started shaking. I pulled off the road thinking something broke but nothing was. A couple months later on 79 it did it again without applying my brakes. It's happening more often and the shaking is getting more severe to where my car is either going to fall apart or bounce off the road or into another car. I'm terrified when this happens because I don't know what's going to happen. I won't even put my grand children in my car. One if my co-workers had the same thing happen to her Subaru. She said after her mechanics did some investigating, they found that there was an issue with the replacement rotors warping and causing the car to shake terribly. This is a severe safety issue and really needs to be investigated. Also a year warranty on these defective parts is too short.

- Summary: The Starlink head unit, produced by HK, is having the same issues that the WUA86 update should have fixed. It was reprogrammed in 2019, and less than 1 year later when my wife bought it, it was having the same reported glitches. I.E. randomly turning off and on, not connecting to Bluetooth/usb music interface, backup camera taking extended time to come up on head unit screen, turning the headhunt off with the power button doesn't work because it just randomly turns itself back on again. The bluetooth will also randomly disconnect when it does happen to connect in the first place. This is a recall that was performed, and the same exact issues are happening. It's a BIG danger to whomever is driving the car as it takes attention away from driving. I am very unhappy with this danger as it was supposed to have been repaired already. Since the 2018 subaru impresa premium is out of the extended warranty even, it seems there's nothing we can do. But Subara put out this software update and said it would work. It didn't!

- Summary: Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Impreza and 2018 Crosstrek vehicles equipped with an aluminum Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve. The PCV valve may come apart, allowing the separated components to enter the engine, possibly resulting in a loss of power while driving.
- Consequence: An unexpected loss of power while driving can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the PCV valve, free of charge. If the PCV valve has separated and the components cannot be found, the engine will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began December 2, 2019. Owners may contact Subaru customer service at 1-844-373-6614. Subaru's number for this recall is WUP-01.

Just picked it up today, new to me, with only 26,000 miles. It feels solid and smooth. I've had iSight on a 16 Outback and I'm so glad to have it again!

Handles like a sporty car and gets great gas mileage, averaging 30MPG. While it may not perform the best in deep snow with factory tires, adding 4 snow tires would be a nice improvement.

Bought it certified used from the dealer, this car is amazing! I've had it for 4 years now and I have absolutely no complaints. I love the eyesight system, the interior is fantastic, and it's a pretty good looking car too. It has enough power, and the AWD is great. PLUS, getting 34mpg combined is pretty amazing.

I experienced some issues with my 2018 Subaru Impreza, specifically with surging and almost stalling in traffic. Despite taking it to the dealer twice while it was still under warranty, the problem could not be recreated. Unfortunately, this left me feeling disappointed. While I had previously owned and loved a 2011 Impreza for 180,000 miles, I ultimately decided to trade in the 2018 model and move on from Subaru.

My previous car, a Honda Civic, ran quietly for 15 years. However, I have experienced some noise from different parts of the interior of this car. The infotainment system is average, and the current song on the radio displays one word at a time, making it difficult to read the title of a song. Although the time of day is supposed to update from my phone, it has not worked. I believe there is room for improvement in this car. Despite my initial expectations, I have not had the best driving experience with this car.

Will be buying a new vehicle soon. Recently rented a '18 Impreza, which was my first time driving a Subaru. Unfortunately, I didn't feel very safe while driving it. The steering was difficult to control, especially when passing semi-trucks. I have driven many different types of vehicles in the US, but this one was definitely the worst experience I've had. As a result, I won't be considering the Subaru Impreza for my next purchase.

This car has poor maneuverability and acceleration, and its front end shape can lead to minor dings in tight parking lots and city driving. The transmission can be quite loud at maximum RPM, and the engine struggles on inclines. However, the gas pedal is very sensitive. Overall, this is my least favorite car to drive.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share an experience I had with my pre-owned 2018 Subaru Impreza. Unfortunately, after just five days of purchasing it from a local dealer, it wouldn't start. At first, I thought it was just the battery, but when I popped the hood, I could smell gasoline all over the engine. After a couple more attempts to start it, I noticed a significant amount of fuel leaking under the engine. Since it's getting dark now, I plan to contact the dealer tomorrow as soon as they open. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with their Subaru? Thanks for your help!
