Since the late-1990s, some markets have restricted sales to the all-wheel drive model, putting the Impreza in a unique selling proposition in the global compact class, which is usually characterized by front-wheel drive. Japanese models remain available in both configurations.

This car is the best car I have ever owned. It's safe in the rain and snow, fast, sexy, and smooth. I live in LA where all the 'nice' cars are, and every time I take her out, I get looks (the car, not me). I've had the car for almost two years now. The WRX may be faster, but it doesn't look half as nice.

Overall, the car is excellent. It's highly customizable, with lots of modifications possible. Plus, it's a real head-turner - other motorists can't help but admire its good looks. And when it comes to handling snowy roads, this car really shines.

Although it may not have the performance you were expecting based on its appearance, it sounds like you're really enjoying the leather seating and the comfort and quality of the materials. It's great to hear that it handles well, even in snow and ice - Subaru really does make a car for all seasons. If you're looking for a car that's fun to drive, fairly economical, great looking, and quality built, I would definitely recommend it. Even though some may consider it to be bottom-of-the-line, it still provides a fun and reliable driving experience. With over 52k miles on it already, it's great to hear that you have had no problems whatsoever. The ride is smooth and the engine is peppy, making it a joy to drive. The interior may be plain, but it is tasteful and the seats are comfortable for both front and rear passengers. Great car all around! It's sporty, has decent power, and drives strong. However, it's important to beware of the leaking head gasket, which can be VERY expensive to repair (3-4k). Additionally, the knock sensor tends to go out at least once. On the bright side, it drives superbly in snow and rain with great suspension and AWD, and the Limited Slip is definitely a plus.

Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my Legacy wagon. It has been an amazing snow car for me, especially since I have to drive on twisty, hilly roads that are often covered in more than 12 inches of snow. I never even noticed the snow or rain! Plus, it's been great for carrying my Samoyed dog in the back with its dog gate. I was even able to fit large objects like doors with the door frame completely inside the car. It's always run smoothly and started up without any problems, and I've been able to go up to 95 on the highway with ease. And the best part? It has fantastic resale value! I bought it for 19.5 and after 3 years, I was able to sell it for 13.5 even with a slightly damaged bumper. Overall, I highly recommend the Legacy wagon as a reliable and versatile car. Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with my Subaru. I've had it for 2 1/2 years and put 47,000 miles on it. The clutch was replaced under warranty at 30,000 miles due to chattering, especially in colder temperatures. Although I'm about to replace it again, I still think it's a great car. The gearing is very low, which makes it very responsive to gas pedal movement, but it can be a bit jerky in traffic. One thing I wish it had is a folding rear seat. However, the all-wheel drive is amazing and provides excellent traction in any weather condition. Despite my minor complaints, I'm definitely getting another Subaru for my next car. They offer unbeatable value!
