2014 Nissan Armada problems
The Nissan Armada (retrospectively referred to unofficially as the Nissan Pathfinder Armada) is a full-size SUV manufactured by Nissan for the North American market. From 2003 to 2015, the first-generation Armada was assembled in Canton, Mississippi based on the Nissan Titan. From mid-2016 onwards, the second-generation Armada has been built in Yukuhashi, Kyushu, Japan and shares the same platform as the Nissan Patrol, with American-specific modifications, and went on sale in late mid-2016 as a 2017 model. A luxury version of the Armada has been sold as the Infiniti QX80 (originally QX56).
First generation (TA60; 2004)
The 2004 model Pathfinder Armada was unveiled on April 17, 2003, at the New York International Auto Show. Developed under Carlos Ghosn's NRP (Nissan Revival Plan), development was done in September 1999 to 2003 under lead designers Shiro Nakamura and Diane Allen and chief engineers Yuzo Sakita and Larry Dominique. In January 2001, a final exterior design by Giovanny Arroba had been approved by Sakita, Allen, Nakamura, and Nissan executive management, with the final design freeze being completed in July 2001. It is assigned the platform code TA60.
Prototypes based on the Y61 Patrol were hand-assembled as mules from 2001, with the first TA60-specific prototypes being completed and sent to testing in early 2002. Design patents were filed in 2003, with production starting on August 14, 2003, and going on sale on October 1, 2003.
The Armada had a 5.6 L VK56DE V8 engine that made 305 hp (227 kW) and 385 lb⋅ft (522 N⋅m) of torque. This was mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission, and the Armada had a choice of either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. There are some Armadas that are capable of using E85. It has a towing capacity of up to 9,000 lb (4,000 kg).
The rear door handles are installed on the "C" pillar as part of a Nissan design tradition that started with the 1986 Nissan Pathfinder. When the four-door Pathfinder was introduced, Nissan chose to conceal the door handles as a part of the "C" pillar trim to visually make it appear like a two-door truck with a camper shell, with conventional door handles on the front doors.
The switch to the Armada name occurred in September 2004 for the 2005 model year, where it received new badges without "Pathfinder." The 2005 model year also included a backup camera.

My first Nissan has been a reliable companion for 3 years and 50,000 miles. With an average of 18 mpg, it provides ample power and size without compromising on fuel efficiency. Its versatility is impressive, easily converting from school bus to cargo van duty. The engine is strong and quiet, and the interior still looks new despite regular use by my kids. While the Midnight Garnet color is beautiful, I have noticed that it scratches easily, which is disappointing. I expected a tougher finish on a utility vehicle designed for family use. Overall, I am pleased with my Nissan and its many thoughtful features.

My spouse and I have always owned a large SUV for road trips and hauling purposes. Unfortunately, our Expedition was stolen in September, and we were not keen on purchasing another Ford. We considered the Infinity QX56, but we found it to be too expensive. However, we fell in love with the Armada, which was priced better and had a very similar vehicle. The only downside is that it doesn't have great gas mileage, but we understand that you don't buy an SUV this size for fuel efficiency. We have absolutely no regrets, and we highly recommend this roomy, comfortable, and reliable SUV with great power.

The Nissan Armada 2012 is very reliable for hauling and carrying loads. It can also drive long distances without any problems. This car definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

I've been eyeing the Armada for a while now, but I couldn't seem to find the right one. Plus, the thought of paying so much made me feel a bit guilty. Luckily, our local dealership finally got in the perfect one I had been waiting for. Although the sticker price was $52,250, I was able to get it out the door for $44,000 (including tax, tag, title, and extended warranty). I absolutely love it and have no regrets. Despite being only 5'2

I absolutely love this vehicle! When buying used, it's important to be careful no matter what you're buying. However, if you happen to come across a 2010 Nissan Armada in pristine condition, don't hesitate to buy it! I fell in love with it at first drive, and I guess that followed first sight. Not only does it look amazing and make a statement, but it also handles like a charm - rugged and smooth. It's great to stand out from the crowd of crossovers that all look the same. While shopping, just be sure to keep an eye out for any potential issues. I was lucky enough to find the perfect one, but unfortunately, the Bluetooth didn't work - which was a deal breaker for me. Thankfully, I bought it from CarMax, so I had 7 days to return it for any reason. They tried to fix it, but couldn't. So, I searched all over the country for one just like it. They are hard to find, which is a testament to how great they are. It's all about who took care of it before you. Now, I'm happy to say that I gave it back and bought it again. It's currently at the Nissan dealership getting fixed, and I hope they can do it because I absolutely love it! The steering is amazing, the turning radius is sharp, and it's incredibly comfortable. I bought the SE, and after driving other Armadas that had not been taken care of, I knew I'd found a gem!

Hello there! I recently researched some issues with my Nissan Armada and found that some consumers have had some concerns. While there were some problems with transmissions, control arms, fuel pumps, exhaust issues/catalytic converter codes, AC pumps, DVD players, radios, and OS failures, I'm still hopeful that Nissan will continue to improve their vehicles. I did have some concerns about the rear suspension and the radio programming, but overall I'm still satisfied with my Armada. I do wish that Nissan would consider offering more interior color options, as I'm not a fan of the all-black look. While my previous Ford Expedition was reliable and had a higher towing capacity, I still prefer my Armada. Thanks for listening to my feedback!

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with the 2010 Armada. As someone who previously owned a 2006 model, I had high expectations for the newer version. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. While I appreciate the Platinum model's folding mirror option, I do wish it was available on the Titanium models as well. Additionally, the instrument cluster redesign places the speedometer off to the right, making it a bit difficult to read. I also found the Sound/Nav system to be poorly designed. After driving 3000 miles, I started hearing some sounds from the chassis when going over speed bumps, which was a bit concerning. I never experienced this with my '06 Armada. Lastly, the transmission seems to make a more significant
