I've had my car for about 3 months now and, although it has had a few problems here and there, it has been easy to get it back up and running. It's a very reliable car and great for doing front wheel take offs. When I bought it, I was worried that I would have a lot of troubles with it, but so far I haven't had any major issues besides a little seasonal car maintenance. I would definitely give this car a very good rating and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable car that won't break the bank. I even painted it to look like a Nissan Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious and it looks awesome!

Hi there! I just wanted to share my experience with my MX-6. I've had it for almost 12 years now, and it has been such a reliable vehicle. I have a 5-speed with the original clutch and have kept up with regular maintenance, like oil changes every 4k and timing belt every 75k. Despite having 198,000k miles on it, the engine still purrs like a kitty! Although the AC did go out about a year ago and the paint job is fading badly, I still plan to buy another Mazda. I recently purchased a 1990 Mazda MX6 for my older sister, and I must say, it's a fantastic car! The car has a modern yet classic look, and it's a joy to drive. It has great pick-up, a comfortable ride, and impressive gas mileage. My sister and I even had a little race (I drive a 1996 Mustang GT), and the Mazda kept up with me until about 30 mph. Overall, it's a reliable and affordable car with unique styling. If you come across one in good condition, I highly recommend buying it. It's a great investment!

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to say that I absolutely love my 1988 MX6-GT! When I was looking for a car back in Dec 1987, I was considering the Celica and Prelude, but ultimately decided on the Mazda because it offered more features and better performance for the money. I have to say, this car has phenomenal performance - it definitely feels like it puts out much more than its 140 HP/190 Ft-pounds torque ratings. I've had the pleasure of driving it in Korea during 1988-1992 (I'm in the Air Force) and even though it sat in storage for another three years (1995-1998) during another overseas assignment, I still love it just as much as the day I bought it. In fact, nearly four years ago I decided to sink some money into it instead of buying a new car. I installed an upgraded exhaust, 17 inch wheels and tires, sport shocks/struts, Eibach lowering springs, sheepskins, and a Momo steering wheel. It's been an amazing investment and I'm so glad I made it. Thanks for listening!

I bought this car about 12 years ago and have had minimal problems with it. I absolutely love owning this car and use it to transport everything from plants to antique windows and doors. Although I've had a few issues with the A/C and the antenna mast, this car has never left me stranded. It's been a fantastic car to own!

This is my second mx6 and unfortunately, I've experienced the same issues as with the first one. The paint job is not up to par, and there have been some costly drivetrain repairs. It's disappointing to have these problems at less than 100k miles. I hope to find a more reliable car in the future.

The car's performance with the automatic transmission could be improved. However, the styling is impressive for a car in its price range and year, and my white paint job has held up well. It's worth noting that red tends to fade faster. Unfortunately, the car lacks cupholders and my A/C has weakened over time. Despite some issues, the engine has proven to be resilient and can handle a beating. While there have been some common problems, such as cracked motor mounts, overall it's a decent car for the price. It seems that some owners have had better luck than me, but I still think it's a good value.

It's such a cute little car, especially considering its age! The paint and style are really great. Unfortunately, it's been quite a money pit for me. I've spent hundreds on it just this past year and now I'm stuck without it. I really wish I could be driving it, but I'm just so tired of having to call tow trucks.

This was my first car and I still drive it. Although it has a few problems, I have a soft spot for it. The support that holds the muffler broke and my brakes aren't the best - they tend to lock up when it rains. It also leaks a little oil, but it's nothing I can't handle.
