Fortunately I left the car unlocked. The car would not start. Road Service tried to jump battery unsuccessfully. Dragged the car onto truck-bed and transports to dealer. Service tech contacts me next day … charged battery, checked electric system and found no malfunctions. This is a scary situation when one never knows when this will happen again. Is there a solution??

- Summary: The contact leased a 2024 Mazda Mazda3. The contact stated that while driving at 55–60 mph, the windshield wipers continued to stay in the on position and failed to turn off. The parking brake engaged without application and turned on and off. All the electrical systems malfunctioned and failed to turn off. The lane assist engaged and forced the vehicle to crash into the side wall. All the instrument cluster warning lights were illuminated. There were no reported injuries. There was no police report filed. There was no air bag deployment or fire. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the mechanic reset the codes. The mechanic informed the contact that the malfunction may continue while traveling over a bump. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted regarding the failure and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 1,900.

- Summary: Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2024 Mazda 3, CX-30, and 2025 CX-50 vehicles. A malfunction in the forward sensing camera (FSC) may prevent the automatic emergency braking system and the lane-keep assist system from functioning. In addition, the headlights will not automatically adjust from high beams to low beams as intended.
- Consequence: Automatic braking, steering assist, and headlight control systems that do not function as intended can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the forward sensing camera as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 24, 2024. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500, Option 6. Mazda's number for this recall is 6824H.

- Summary: Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2024 CX-90 and MAZDA3 vehicles. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- Consequence: A camera that does not display an image can reduce the driver's view, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
- Remedy: Dealers will update the view monitor control module software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 20, 2023. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6. Mazda's number for this recall is 6223J.

I had a tough time saying goodbye to my 2011 Mazda 6, which I had for 11 years and loved dearly. Naturally, I went straight to Mazda for my next car and didn't even consider another dealership. The Mazda 3 is a fantastic car, even though I wish they still made the 6 model. It has a 2.5L inline 4 engine, Bose speakers, 18-inch wheels, lumbar support for the seats, and a lovely leather interior. The ride is incredibly smooth, and it accelerates beautifully (I don't think the turbo is necessary, to be honest). The premium trim level even has a heads-up display that shows the speed limit and directions on the windshield. It's a great choice, and you can't go wrong with it. I initially wanted the carbon edition because it looks amazing, but after sitting in both the carbon edition and the premium trim level, I could tell that the seat comfort level was different, which is crucial for me because I have a bad back. Once you download the Mazda app, you can even remote start the car, which is fantastic. I could go on and on, but I suggest you visit your nearest Mazda dealership and see for yourself!

I'm so glad I chose the Mazda 3! It's just as good as any high-end brand in terms of quality, and the design is unbeatable. Plus, it has a quick and solid attitude that really sets it apart. It reminds me of the 3 series from 20 years ago, before they lost their way. I've been recommending this car to all my friends who are in the market for a new sedan - it's definitely the best value out there!

I purchased a red Mazda3 hatchback over a year ago and it has been an excellent car. The driving experience is fantastic, the interior is premium, and the Bose sound system is excellent. The engine is likable and the styling is beautiful. Although I have had minor issues with the electronics, such as adaptive cruise control cutting out on the highway and wired CarPlay crashing or not connecting for a few weeks, these have not detracted from my overall enjoyment of the car. The lane keep assist feature is the only major flaw, as it overcorrects to a concerning level, but I simply turn it off immediately after startup. While the dealer was unable to fix an interior rattle after two attempts, I was able to fix it myself. Although the back seat is cramped and rear visibility is poor, these have not been issues for me. Overall, I have no regrets purchasing this car as it excels in so many areas over other compacts. It has many great features, such as an awesome steering wheel, HUD, and floor-mounted gas pedal. Additionally, it has exceeded its EPA rating with a fuel economy of 32 mpg in mixed driving, and I have had no mechanical issues with 10,000 miles on the odometer.

Performance, interior quality, handling, fuel consumption, and power accessories are all great! However, I noticed that the car has less than 3500kms on it and the oil light is on. Sure enough, the oil level is down by that much. This is not what I would expect for a car that costs 48000 taxes in. Can you please explain this issue?

As an owner of both a 2015s GT and a 2018 Mazda 3 GT hatchback, I have a unique perspective to compare my current 2021 Mazda 3 AWD turbo hatchback to the previous models. Over the past six years, there have been some noticeable changes, most of which are improvements and greatly appreciated. The turbo in the 2021 model is a perfect example of that, giving the car a much-needed boost in performance and driving enjoyment. Although it's not a Mazdaspeed, it still makes a significant difference. However, the switch to a fixed rear axle suspension in the AWD model can be positively brutal on pavement bumps and potholes, compromising the driving experience improvement brought about by the addition of the turbo. Additionally, the reduction in rear cargo space in the AWD model is noticeable and not a welcome change. Despite these issues, I still enjoy my 2021 Mazda 3 hatchback, and it makes for a mostly enjoyable driving experience. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision about your next car purchase!
