- Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Lexus) is recalling certain 2019 Lexus RX350 and 2021 RX350 vehicles. The transport hook may not have been removed prior to sale. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 301, "Fuel System Integrity."
- Consequence: During a rear-end crash, the transport hook can damage the fuel filler pipe, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Lexus will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and, as necessary, remove the rear transport hook, free of charge. The recall began April 1, 2021. Owners may contact Lexus customer service at 1-800-331-4331. Lexus' number for this recall is 21LA01.

For a long version, there isn't much more cargo room. Unfortunately, the under cargo compartment is useless, unlike the hybrid version which has a second hidden space above the spare wheel and below the regular cargo space. Additionally, the rear view mirrors on the doors have been made too small, which is not ideal.

I wanted to share my experience with the 2021 Lexus RX 350 in the hopes of helping others. My husband and I have been loyal Lexus RX 350 drivers since the mid-90s and have never had any issues until recently. I purchased a 2021 RX 350 in November 2020 and unfortunately experienced an incident in October 2021 while a friend was driving it on a road trip in Hot Springs, AR. While waiting to join traffic, the car suddenly accelerated on its own, causing a fault accident. I initially thought it was a mental lapse on my friend's part, but then the same thing happened to me in January 2022. I filed a complaint with my local Lexus dealership in Austin, TX, and after a thorough inspection, they found no issues. However, I still experienced problems with the car and had to submit a lot of paperwork to Lexus corporate. Although I received a response stating that no accident was found, I believe there is something sinister going on. Additionally, I have experienced discomfort in the seat, which has recently caused sciatica. I will not be purchasing another Lexus and feel it is important to warn potential buyers to be cautious.

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I wanted to share my experience with the car I purchased 2 months ago to replace my 2013 RX350 (None fsport). While I've enjoyed driving it, I have noticed that the throttle response in regular drive mode is not as good as I had hoped. I find that I need to switch to sport or sport+ mode to get the driving response I'm looking for, but even then it's not quite as good as my 2013. We still have the 2013 and it's still quick off the start. After putting 5K miles on the 2021, I'm considering selling it. Thanks for listening!

Although the Lexus RX 350 may seem like an overpriced Toyota Highlander, it is important to note that the luxury package does offer some additional features. However, when compared to the BMW X5, there is simply no comparison. The BMW X5 is a truly luxurious car with exceptional power, German engineering, and top-notch customer service. BMW understands that they are selling a luxury car, and they make sure that luxury is a standard feature. Additionally, BMW is always ahead of the curve when it comes to technology. While I personally would not choose to purchase another Lexus, I understand that everyone has different preferences and needs when it comes to cars.
