On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

  • Summary:  For approx. the past 6 months, the radio has been cutting out several times during my daily commute. On occasion, a message would appear saying Stabilitrack is off. Saturday, it cut out and stayed off for more than 30 minutes and did it several more times. Everytime the radio cuts out, the door locks started locking and unlocking on their own, the air conditioning, cooled front seats, and defrost turns on and the seats the airbag off light came on, and a warning message saying service stability system came on, plus the engine was revving without power and I was worried I was going to lose all electrical and control, so I pulled off the We have ran several diagnostic but found no error code messages and nothing wrong with the vehicle. When I was talking to them, the system was acting normally. I have taken the car to the dealership and my local family mechanic shop. We have paid extensively to change the grounding wire, battery, cables, fuses and other grounding components to resolve this issue. It is very dangerous and has caused my family to jerk and sometimes be hit in the process. It has died on the highway and creates an extreme possibility for accident to others, if this continues to occur. I typically would not reach out in this manner and I would just replace the vehicle, but through further research, others have also had this problem, reported it on the Cadillac forum and we have not been added to the previous electrical recall or gotten resolutions. This is my last resort before this becomes a fatality for some owner.

THE WIRING LOOM HAS ENOUGH SLACK IN IT TO THEN WRAP ITSELF AROUND THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT, FINALLY SNAPPING THE WIRES. A TOTAL OF 9 WIRES SNAPPED. THIS IS MOST LIKELY ONLY AN ISSUE FOR THOSE WITH AWD AS IT WAS THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT THAT THE WIRES FINALLY WRAPPED AROUND AND CAUSED MULTIPLE SYSTEMS TO FAIL IMMEDIATELY. AN UNKNOWN DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS WAITING ON A RESPONSE. THE VEHICLE WAS RECEIVED AS A TRADE-IN FROM A 2004 CADILLAC ESCALADE THAT EXHIBITED THE SAME FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.

WE REALLY NEED TO SELL THIS CAR AS WE HAVE A HIGH PAYMENT & WE NEED TO REDUCE OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS. THIS IS HARD TO DO WHEN THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON. Despite spending almost $70,000 on it, the vehicle is much louder than I expected. As a company that prides itself on having 'the quietest ride ever', I was surprised to find that it is actually the loudest vehicle I have ever been in. The wind noise is so bad that I am already considering trading it in. I have taken it to the dealer five times, but unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved. I would advise against purchasing this ESV until some major changes are made.

    Firstly, I must say that the SUV looks absolutely stunning on the road. The design is beautiful and eye-catching. However, we have experienced some issues with the vehicle. Unfortunately, it has been in the shop more times than we can count. We have learned to wait until a few things need fixing before taking it in. Additionally, the wind noise can be quite loud on windy days, which may not be ideal for those seeking a quieter ride. We have been disappointed as we paid a lot for this vehicle. Plus, it gets 12 mpg city and 17 mpg highway, making it a practical choice for any family.
