- Summary: I was pulling into a parking space at a gas station and the vehicle took off at a fast speed and I could not stop the vehicle, the “parking assist light came in saying parking assist malfunction, I tried braking and nothing, the car kept going I hit something then it stop as I put the gear in park, the passenger electrical window won’t operate from the driver side, Lexus refused to take responsibility of an electrical problem occurred as the vehicle malfunctioned, at the shop they claimed nothing was wrong, with breaks or no electrical problem, there is something wrong with a part that causes difficulty getting the tire off and in turn damaging the tire , this was told to me be a auto repair shop, Lexus did nothing to take responsibility nor did they treat me well, as if I just decided to ram my car into something, I later read other reports where this vehicle had same problem with the vehicle just taking off and driver unable to stop the vehicle , I only had the car for about 4 months, and theirs all happened, I was afraid to drive it for awhile, but they wouldn’t even swap the car out for another

- Summary: WATER PUMP LEAKING COOLANT: This pump which pushes coolant for engine's cooling system is leaking in several Lexus vehicles. If not replaced, engine will not be operating efficiently and could result in catastrophic engine damage. My vehicle although out of warranty has not even reached 40,000 miles. Dealer provided estimate of $1,134.81 + tax. Dealer warned that if not replaced it could result in catastrophic engine damage that has costed people between $7,000-$21,000. On further research on Internet, I found that coolant water pump has failed in Lexus for several customers, for multiple models of Lexus, for several years, at low mileages. Despite this Lexus has never issued a recall of defective coolant water pump. I would request NHTSA to please investigate this serios issue. Thank You !!

The contact was able to drive the vehicle back to her residence, however, she had it towed to a dealer. The dealer diagnosed that there was a failure of the GPS system and the tire pressure sensor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 72,925.

- Summary: I stepped out of my car in our condo complex after parking. and turned off the engine only after i stepped out completely. vehicle starts rolling. I opened the door so wide, in panicked jumped back with right leg pressing on the break/ turning engine , shift gear to park, as i have no control over the door. As i am trying to hold on the steering wheel and doing all the actions mentioned above , the door swung hard with my leg on it while the car is in rolling motion. It did stop , almost hitting the parked pickup car. damaged the door and the front fender. Dont recall exactly what happened, it possible that i may have turned it off while it is in drive (?) but vehicle is not moving. Lexus a luxury car made it too convenient with auto parking brake , doesn’t not have a safety feature to prevent roll off accident when vehicle is at full stop and engine turned off.(unlike prius). Repair estimated at $3,000-$5,000.

My safety was put at risk for this matter. My had hit the steering wheel and I was treated in the hospital with a head injury and swelling to the face. Right arm was also injured. The vehicle is being expect as total lost from the insurance company. I never had a warning.

TIRE PLACE PUT A TOTAL OF 10 TIRES ON THE VEHICLE TO NO AVAIL AND ROAD FORCE BALANCED THE TIRES. RECOMMENDED I TAKE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP SAID THAT ONLY THE EXACT TIRES THAT CAME ON THE CAR WOULD GUARANTEE THE CAR WOULDN'T SHAKE. THEY ROADFORCE BLANCHED THE SAME TIRES AND CAME UP WITH VASTLY DIFFERENT RESULTS 2 WEEKS APART. WHEN ASKED WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WHEN THE TIRES THAT CAME ON THE VEHICLE WOULD BE DISCONTINUED THERE WAS NO RESPONSE. SO, IN SHORT, LEXUS HAS MADE A VEHICLE THAT, ONCE THE OEM SELECTED TIRES ARE DISCONTINUED, WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE A SMOOTH RIDE.

IT IS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINTS ONLINE. THIS SEAT POSITION PROMOTES POOR POSTURE AND FATIGUE WHEN DRIVING MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. THE CANADIAN MODELS OF SAME CAR BUT HAVE ADJUSTABLE HEAD RESTS, FOR THE US OWNERS THIS IS $700 PER HEAD REST BUT NOT AVAILABLE TO US RESIDENTS. LEXUS WILL NOT DO ANYTHING AND THE CORPORATE OFFICE ONLY CALLS YOU BACK TO SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO OR WILL DO. I THINK IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED DUE TO THIS BAD NECK POSITION....IF YOU ARE IN A REAR END COLLISION IN THIS VEHICLE I CAN ONLY ASSUME YOU WILL HAVE A NECK INJURY AND POSSIBLE PARALYSIS. I have had many cars over the years and this one is, by far, the best. The interior leather quality is very nice and the seat setting options, along with lumbar support options, ensure a comfortable ride. Lexus has a good selection of exterior and interior color options. I had chosen Atomic Silver for the exterior and the Black/Red combination for the interior, both of which I have received many compliments.

Hi there! I was in the market for a new SUV for my family and I'm so happy I found the Lexus NX200t. As a long-time Toyota fan, I was looking for something a bit more premium and this vehicle definitely delivers. It's safe, reliable, and so much fun to drive! Plus, it has all the bells and whistles my family needs. I haven't had any issues with it yet and I'm confident that I made the right choice. If you're looking for a safe, reliable, responsive, and fuel-efficient vehicle, I highly recommend the Lexus NX200t.

As a proud owner of my first Lexus, I was determined to find an SUV that would meet my expectations. After researching different brands, I confidently chose the NX200T. While there are some aspects of the car that I find bothersome, there are also many features that I appreciate. The car can be a bit noisy on the road, but the base stereo sounds great and the headlights are top-notch. The seats are comfortable and the heating and cooling functions work perfectly. When in sport mode, the car has a nice kick to it. However, I do believe that there is room for improvement in certain areas. For example, the car has an excessive amount of hard plastic, which is not acceptable for a car in this price range. Additionally, the switches for the windows are cheap and the carpet could be of better quality. Despite these issues, I remain confident in my decision to choose the NX200T. I hope that Lexus will take my feedback into consideration and continue to improve their products.

I brought my GS F for service and they gave me this as a courtesy car to use for the day. Since I had a few places to go, I ended up putting a good amount of miles on it. In my opinion, the car did not meet my expectations as I prefer driving my wife's Highlander Limited. However, the car has a stylish exterior and a decent interior. It would be a good choice for those who prioritize style over spirited driving. Additionally, it would be a great car to pull up to the antique flea market in. Thank you for the opportunity to use this car for the day!

This car is a good car, but it’s not for everyone. Turns out, it’s not for me. My first luxury car purchase, got it as a CPO and got a hell of a deal. The excitement wore off really quickly though and I’m trying to see if I can trade it in before I have to pay for registration. Pros: great value for your money, lots of features, Lexus reliability, super comfy seats (F-Sport), eye-catching front end styling. Cons: fit and finish (lots of rattles), ugly rear styling, AWD (total joke, my Tiguan never had torque steer), powerful but unrefined sound system, drawn out turbo lag. The tech is manageable but still frustrating to use. Again, it’s a good vehicle and it gets you from point A to point B comfortably. However, if you want something that is engaging to drive, this isn’t it. Even the F-Sport doesn’t help the experience.

After being told by Lexus that bushings will wear out, I was surprised to hear that it could happen as early as 40k miles. I've owned an older RX model and never had this issue before. The cost to replace the knuckle bushings is $2300, which seems quite steep. I was disappointed with the response I received from Corporate Lexus. It seems like cheap rubber materials are being used on these cars. I'm not sure if I'll be buying any new Lexus cars in the future.
