The word "Windom" is a combination of "win" and the suffix "dom" expresses a state of perpetual victory. The fifth generation ES used body styling marketed by Lexus as L-finesse and debuted in early 2006 as a 2007 model. The sixth generation ES debuted in the first half of 2012 as a 2013 model, and features increased cabin dimensions due to a longer wheelbase which is shared with the full-size XX40 series Avalon.

Hello! We bought this pearl white Lexus brand new and it has been a great car for us. We've only needed minor repairs, and those were just recently after driving over 85,000 miles. My wife is the primary driver and she absolutely loves it. We did order a new MB E-class, but it was a bit of a challenge to convince her to make the change. Unfortunately, we're not too fond of the ES300's design changes this year, or else we would have considered buying another one.

A real head-turner. When people see you driving this car, they seem to think that you have arrived. I don't know what you've arrived at. But, the Lexus ES300 is a beautiful car and although mine is 8 years old, it is always a joy to drive.

This is a lovely luxury sedan. I chose it about a year and a half ago over an Acura TL mainly because of the styling. It's a great car! With its 200+ lb-ft of torque, it takes off like a rocket. I've almost never had anyone beat me out from a traffic light. Even my mom loves driving it! I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a higher-end vehicle with some umph.

I bought this car because of Lexus' reputation for quality. However, in the year that I have owned it, I have experienced a few minor issues such as water in the headlight due to a bad seal, a non-functional power antenna, a hood that doesn't stay open, a side window that dropped into the door on a rainy day, and an idiot light that flickers on and off. One nitpick is that fitting an aftermarket stereo in it requires cheesy looking adapters since the factory CD player costs $1500. It would be great if the better and cheaper solution could be put in every car. Despite these minor issues, I still believe that Lexus is a great brand.
