- Summary: While attempting to accelerate my car hesitates and slows down to about 5 miles an hour. This mostly happens in the morning, but does happen in the afternoon while attempting to accelerate to pass. This issue has almost caused me to get in accidents on several occasions. I first noticed this issue when I first purchased the vehicle. I took it in and it was kept at the dealership for a week or so. When it was returned the dealer told me they couldn’t find a problem. I later took the car to another dealer and was the fuel injectors need to be cleaned but this did not fix the problem.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THEY RELY ON THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND WOULD GO WITH THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED TO VISIT ANOTHER INFINITI DEALER IF HE WANTED A SECOND OPINION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE ALSO OCCURRED WITH ANOTHER Q70 MODEL HE PREVIOUSLY OWNED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued 2 recalls for different components of the 2019 Infiniti Q70.
- Manufacturer: Nissan North America, Inc.
- Components: POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT
- Summary: Nissan North America, Inc. (INFINITI) is recalling certain 2011-2013 M56, 2012-2013 M35 Hybrid, 2014-2018 Q50, Q70 Hybrid, 2014-2019 Q70, and 2015-2019 Q70L two-wheel drive vehicles. The driveshaft can fatigue and break.
- Consequence: A broken driveshaft can result in a loss of drive power, or a vehicle roll away when the vehicle is in park without the parking brake applied. Both scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace the driveshaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 13, 2024. Owners may contact INFINITI's customer service at 1-800-662-6200. INFINITI's numbers for this recall are R24A5 and R24A7.

- Summary: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles. Additionally included are 2019 Nissan GT-R and Taxi and Infiniti QX50, QX60, Q70, Q70L vehicles. The back-up camera and display settings can be adjusted such that the rear view image is no longer visible and the system will retain that setting the next time the vehicle is placed in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
- Consequence: The lack of an image in the back-up camera display increases the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: Nissan will notify owners in phases, having dealers update the back-up camera settings software, free of charge. The recall began November 11, 2019 and all affected VINs should be activated. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-867-7669 or INFINITI customer service at 1-800-662-6200.

5 reasons to love the Q70L. Firstly, the interior and exterior design is beautiful with high build quality. The leather quality on the sensory package is similar to an S-Class and you get just as much space inside. Secondly, real buttons make sense and the user interface is much better than digging 3-4 levels into touch screen only interfaces you see now. Thirdly, the naturally aspirated V6 engine is a lot of fun to drive. Fourthly, the seats are very comfortable and the audio system is top notch. Lastly, the service center is excellent, providing a level of attention that you won’t get with the Germans. I know... Thank you for considering the Q70L!

I currently own the previous model known as m37 for 9 years. Mine is the all-wheel-drive model and loaded with everything, including cooled seats and a heated steering wheel. With 175,000 miles on the car, it's a 2013 and I have no need to replace it. As a realtor, I find the nice-sized back seat and great ride go over well with my customers. It's very quick for a big car and handles like it's much smaller than it is. By the way, the front seats are very comfortable for long trips. We never take my wife's x5 on trips because my car is more comfortable and gets better gas mileage. Maintenance costs are very low compared to her BMW.

These are great cars! I had an M45, an M56x, and a Q70. However, I am switching to a 2019 car mainly because of the resale value.
