- Summary: I was traveling at 35 MPH when a bright light blinded me in drivers window, assuming I was about to get T-boned, I pulled hard to the right, went over a curb, and hit an electrical pole. The front air bags all deployed, including the one by my knees. Getting out of the vehicle, I could see approximately 2" of bone exposed on both shins. It looked like my shins got hit with grenades. I located my phone on the drivers side floor, underneath the remains of the knee airbag. I was taken to the closest trauma hospital and spent 5 days there. I have undergone 5 surgeries on both legs, received multiple blood transfusions in order to have surgery (due to blood loss at the scene), surgery involved removing debris multiple times, and have had artificial skin graphs as well as skin graphs taken from two sites on my right thigh (during the 5th surgery). I have been unable to drive and must have a responsible adult living with me during my recovery. I have been unable to work. I had no broken bones or internal injuries, but extensive damage to my lower legs, nonetheless. Police reports were taken at the scene by Debary, Florida/Volusia county officers. Photographs of my shins were take by the plastic surgeon called while I was in the ER. Full body xrays/scans were also taken.

I have been smelling a strong gas odor on the especially when the tank is full. Today while parked in my driveway I noticed a puddle of gas under the car too. The puddle was under the right rear seat. I haven't been able to take a look, as it is minus 20 degree here now and for the next week. Even if I noticed this just reasontly, this problem has been a while Hopefully this will be a matter the dealership can handle, as I can tell it is a worldwide issue I hope that the car being in Norway doesn't make it an issue, as it is just as dangerous problem here. Hopefully this can be dealth with befora any accidents happen.

- Summary: In 2015 I had issues with the seat belt alarm on the vehicle going off, stating that passenger and driver seatbelts weren’t buckled. I would get a airbag flashing light stating per manual that the airbags were not activated. Fast forward to July 2015, I had gotten a recall letter for a orc (occupant Restraint module) which affects airbags and seatbelts. I brought in the car to get it fixed per recall. Fast forward to about 2 years later, the same issue had occurred. Airbag light would still pop up and stating that seats belt in the car wasn’t engaged. Brought it in to get it checked out at a local mechanic shop, they couldn’t fix it and stated I need to go to the dealership. They noted that it was affected by the recall of the orc module. Brought in the car to Cutter dodge In pearl city Oahu and they fixed it, at this time I was still covered by warranty. Fast forward to around 2019 I moved to Maui, the same exact issue occurred. Brought it into my friends mechanic shop and he had said the same thing that it’s an ORC module and to bring it to Jim falk dodge in Kahului. Explained to them the issue and they said that they need to replace the OrC module for over $700. I explained to them that this is the same issue occurring with the recall. Why would I need to pay for a faulty recall fix which is affecting me and my families safety where the airbags won’t deploy in an accident which could cause death because the module in the recall wasn’t fixed properly the first time.

- Summary: The radiator fan blade broke off and hit the alternator creating a hole in it. The alternator lost all fluid and the car overheated. This happened on 2 different occasions before it became obvious that the radiator fan was the culprit and not the radiator itself. This is a safety issue because no dash lights were illuminated and the car could have severely overheated on the highway if it wasn't noticed. Mechanic inspected it and saw the fan blade caught in the hood.

- Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could explode with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants potentially resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began February 4, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V01.

- Consequence: If the alternator fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash. There is also the possibility that the alternator may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: Chrysler will notify the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and RAM owners. Mitsubishi owners will be notified by their company. Dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began on March 27, 2017. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Don't be intimidated by the V8 Hemi tag. The V8 comes with a fuel management system that shuts down 4 cylinders when they're not needed. During a long stretch of I-95, I reduced my speed to 65mph and was able to achieve an average of 31 to 33mpg. The system also kicks in while driving around city roads at around 30mph. The car has an average of about 21mpg in the city, which is just as good as many V6 models out there without the fuel management system. The car itself is a joy to drive, with excellent fit and finish. The RT base package is all you really need, including remote start, 8.4

I love all of the options with this car. I also love the attention I get when I'm out in the car. Everyone's head turns, and I've had people stop me a lot asking about my Dodge Charger 2011 R/T. However, I do wish it got a little better gas mileage. Overall, it's a 4.8 stars in my book. This car is quiet, reliable, and fun to drive.

I buy a new car every 4-5 years to use for a company car and I have to say, this car makes working fun again! I highly recommend getting the Hemi - it's definitely worth the few mpg's you lose over the V6. My R/T has all the options and everything is so easy to use. I even get thumbs up from cars driving by and compliments at gas stations. You should definitely go drive one - nothing else in its class compares!

I've been driving my V6 Charger for 6 months now and I absolutely love it! It's my daily commuter and every minute spent in this car is a joy. The body lines and styling are simply beautiful, especially in my Toxic Orange color which always turns heads! Although I was a bit disappointed to find out that the wheels are caps, I'm already planning on getting new ones in the near future. The interior is nicely laid out and I particularly love the touch screen and heated seats. During a recent 1200 mile trip, I did find that the seats weren't as comfortable for such a long drive, but overall it was still a great experience. The car rides extremely well and is very quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the racing features under the front end came standard on the rally ed. The performance is simply awesome, I even had it up to 140 and it still hadn't hit the floor! The mileage is around 27 on the freeway, which is great. I did test drive the V8 but found that it had more road noise and didn't ride as nicely.

I purchased the charger on August 12, 2011. My first reaction was that it seemed like a nice and reliable car. The V6 offered almost 300 horsepower which was perfect for my needs. For my real muscle car, I have a '95 Stang with a 460 in it. After having the car for three weeks and putting 600 miles on it, I encountered a few issues. During the first week, I had to replace the driver's door handle due to a keyless entry issue. On Labor Day weekend, the gauges started flashing on and off and I couldn't start the car. Nothing worked except for the strobing gauges which stopped after 10 minutes. Although my confidence in this car was initially high, it has now decreased. It's currently at the dealership, and I'm glad I wasn't on a road trip when this happened. My previous car was a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with 335,000 miles and no major issues. It's too bad that this car is already having problems.

Hi there! I wanted to share my experience with my vehicle. Unfortunately, I had to get it towed on 4/9/11 because all of my lights started flashing. The dealer said that my PCM (power control module) was defective and it took a few weeks for them to get the part. On top of that, my passenger door handle is also defective. Finally, I was able to pick up my car on 4/26/11 and was excited to have it back, but had to take it back the next day because my headlights wouldn't turn on. Almost a month later, the dealer is telling me that they need to replace the BCM (body control module), which is the computer of the car. I've tried reaching out to Dodge/Chrysler customer assistance, but unfortunately, they haven't been much help. I'm now filing a lemon law and seeing what happens from there. Thanks for listening!

The 2011 Dodge Charger, unfortunately, has a history of issues. Despite my initial love for the car, it lost almost 50% of its value within two years and has had 10 recalls. After reaching 90,000 miles, I experienced significant problems with the head gaskets and oil cooler pump, in addition to dealing with multiple recalls. The latest recall, related to the alternator, caused my car to shut down unexpectedly while driving. While I was fortunate to avoid an accident, this was a concerning experience. I was surprised to learn that I would need to pay for the repairs and then submit for reimbursement for the recall. Despite these challenges, I would caution against purchasing a 2011 Dodge Charger or any other Dodge vehicle due to their poor service and customer support.

I purchased this car as a certified used car with 28K miles. However, at 33K miles, the catalytic converter failed and at 42K miles, the entire cylinder head had to be replaced, or so they say for now. Unfortunately, my car has been to the dealer so many times that the rental car representative now knows me by name, number, and credit card information by heart. I am disappointed, but thankfully, my extended warranty has been a lifesaver. Now, I am faced with the decision to either trade in this car or stick with it and hope that nothing major breaks down.
