Chrysler Lhs problems
The Chrysler LHS is a full-size luxury four-door sedan that was produced by Chrysler for the 1994 through the 2001 model years, with a one-year hiatus for 1998. It replaced the Chrysler Imperial and the Chrysler Fifth Avenue as the division's flagship model. The LHS was rebadged as the Concorde Limited for the 2002 model year.
First generation (1994–1997)
Introduced in May 1993 for the 1994 model year, the Chrysler LHS was the top of the line model for the division, as well as the most expensive of the Chrysler LH platform cars. All the LH-series models shared a 113.0-inch (2,870 mm) wheelbase and were developed using Chrysler's new computer drafting system.
The car was differentiated from the division's New Yorker sedan by its bucket leather seats (the New Yorker had a bench seat) and standard features such as alloy wheels that were options on the New Yorker. Further differences between the Chrysler LHS and its New Yorker counterpart were a floor console and shifter, five-passenger seating, lack of chrome trim, an upgraded interior, and a sportier image. From the 1996 model year on the New Yorker was dropped in favor of a six-passenger option on the LHS. The LHS received a minor face change in 1995 when the corporate-wide Pentastar emblem was replaced with the revived Chrysler brand emblem.
Standard features of the LHS included a 3.5 L EGE 24-valve 214 hp (160 kW; 217 PS) V6 engine, body-colored grille, side mirrors and trim, traction control, aluminum wheels, integrated fog lights, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, premium sound systems with amplifiers, and automatic temperature control. Unlike the New Yorker, leather seats were standard.

THEY SAID TO GO TO A SCRAP YARD TO GET PART OR CALL BACK DEALERSHIP AND ADVISE THEM TO ORDER THE KIT AND RE DO IT AND THERES ALSO ANOTHER RECALL ON IT CURRENTLY AMD FORBTHE DEALERSHIP TO HONOR THAT RECALL ALSO. SEEM TO HEAR A CONTINUE HUM EVEN WHEN CAR IS SHUT OFF..NOT RADIO! HELP,SPENT TO MUCH ON THIS CAR WITH 126,000 MILES ON IT TO FEEL I CAN'T PUT MY CHILDREN INSIDE TO BE SAFE,OR STRANDED. I've had this car for 6 years now and it's still going strong at 255,000 miles! Other than routine maintenance, I haven't had much trouble with it. Even after 3 deer and a Chevy pickup, it's still going strong! I'm currently looking for another one with lower miles. I would prefer another silver one, but I'm open to other colors as well.

I drove this car for 100,000 miles over 4 years, starting at 40,000 miles. It was a luxurious experience every mile of the way, with soft leather seats and plenty of room in the back and trunk. There were also lots of little extras that made it a joy to drive. However, there were some issues along the way. The transmission dropped from 3rd to 2nd gear while I was driving at 55 mph, and even after it was rebuilt, there were still problems. The air conditioner motor died two years ago, and now everything seems to be going wrong. Unfortunately, there have been too many repairs needed, and it's time to say goodbye. I will miss the comfort of this car, as it will not be easy or economical to replace.

I purchased this car back in August 1998 when it had 75k miles on it. Since then, it has covered over 161k miles and I must say, I absolutely adore it. The interior is spacious and perfect for my family, who are all quite tall. We always choose the LHS for our trips because even a 6-foot person can comfortably fit in the front or back seats. The trunk is also quite large and comes with a full spare tire hidden inside. You should definitely take it for a spin, I'm sure you'll love it! The leather seats are very comfortable and the control panels are easy to use. I also appreciate the feature that tells me how many miles I have left until I'm on empty. Of course, with 161k miles, I have had to do some maintenance, but nothing too extreme - just the basics like tie-rod ends, A/C compressor, brakes, tires, timing belt, and other routine maintenance.

Except for a broken ball joint and some A/C problems, this car has performed flawlessly. It's a beautiful, sporty looking car and I always get second looks in it. The interior makes me want to never get out. The Infinity system is second to none, just like my car!

-The car has had some issues with crash tests and unresponsive braking. The transmission has been rebuilt, but still experiences shuddering. The AC has been fixed, but unfortunately broke again and is still not working. The car has had at least 5 recalls. The front hub bearing has been replaced and the passenger cabin can be a bit noisy with some rattling. The trunk lid spring is broken and there is some water leakage in the trunk compartment.

This car is really comfortable and fun to drive. However, it has been unreliable lately. I have had to replace a few parts within the last six months, which has been a bit frustrating. Unfortunately, the rubber around the headlights is falling apart and the hood trim came off a few weeks ago. I am planning to switch back to Hondas/Toyotas before the snow comes, as I don't want to risk being stranded in the middle of winter.

Like any other vehicle, problems can arise as it ages. I purchased mine used with just under 130K miles. At that time, everything worked except for the air conditioner, which unfortunately has a significant impact on the full-time automatic climate system. During hot summer days, the heat can come on and take its time to cool down, and the same goes for the winter. With these cars, it is essential to service or replace the A/C, which can be costly. After this expensive job was done, everything was fine until around the 176K mark, and then it was one issue after another, such as the stabilizer, cv's, brake lines, and rotors. Eventually, the engine had some significant problems, and it was time to dispose of it.

Myself (1999 LHS) and two other owners of (300M) have experienced problems with the windows and heaters not working, as well as transmission issues. Unfortunately, Chrysler is aware of these defects but has not issued a recall. One 300M's heater recently stopped working and will cost $800 to fix. We have tried to resolve these issues with Chrysler but have not had any success. It is disappointing to see a company like Chrysler not taking responsibility for their products.

We bought the car from a retired dentist with only 34k miles on it, and it was a dream come true for us. However, we did encounter some issues with the car, including having to tow it twice due to a blown timing belt and water pump, as well as a recall item with the fuel line that was supposed to have been fixed. The Automatic Temperature Control Head, which runs the climate control, has been a major issue for me, with the A/C going out twice and repairs being quite expensive. Over the last 4 1/2 years, I've spent at least 3500 - 4500 on repairs. Despite these issues, I'm now considering getting a new car.
