Common 2023 Chevrolet Blazer problems
The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer has been reported to have several common problems based on complaints from owners. One of the most frequently mentioned issues is related to the brakes, with owners reporting premature pad/rotor wear, pulsation or vibration, and problems with the antilock system.
Another issue that has been reported is related to the software in the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer EV. Some owners have experienced software-related quality issues, which have led to a stop-sale of the vehicle by GM. The software problems have caused issues with the infotainment system and other features of the electric SUV. GM has said that it is working quickly to resolve the problem and that owners will be contacted with further information on how to schedule their update.
In addition to these issues, some owners have reported problems with the transmission. For example, one owner reported that the transmission went out on their 2022 Blazer, and they have been waiting for seven weeks for parts to fix the issue. The owner also mentioned that the dealer is unable to take the vehicle back, and it has 13,000 miles on the odometer. Another owner reported that their 2023 Blazer rs has more orange lights on the dash indicating issues with various systems, including cruise control, anti-lock brakes, and traction control. The owner also mentioned that Chevy does not have the parts to fix the issues, and it took over 10 months to get the vehicle after ordering it.
Overall, these issues highlight the importance of paying attention to owner complaints and taking action to address problems as soon as possible. While the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer has received positive reviews for its performance, handling, and safety features, these issues are a reminder that no vehicle is perfect, and there is always room for improvement.

- Summary: I was turning left at an intersection on 5/5/23 and the brakes locked up for no reason. As I entered the intersection the vehicle flashed the automatic emergency braking lights and locked up the brakes as I turned left. The lane in front of me was perfectly clear and the sudden stop fortunately didn't cause the vehicle behind me to rear end me. My wife and I were totally shocked and confused why this happened when there was clearly no obstruction ahead of us or reason to lockup the brakes. This is an absolute flaw and could have caused an accident and/or injury. This ADAS system is very sensitive in my opinion and constantly goes off on parked cars when driving in my subdivision. This I guess is unavoidable but the incident that happened is not explainable or acceptable!

The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer who was unable to determine or confirm the unintended acceleration failure. The SUV handles more like a car and has a nice ride. It's too soon to tell about durability and other factors, but so far the gas mileage is great.

Overall, this is a great vehicle with a powerful V6 engine. However, there seem to be some issues with the lower molding on all doors not fitting properly, which can allow water and dirt to get in.
