The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and advised the contact to park the vehicle outside the garage until parts became available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Porsche offered a free replacement, and after dealers had difficulty in installing, Porsche offers a minimum compensation, instead of fixing problem. this will affect all Porsche from 2018 and prior that were set up for 3g network connection . POWER TRAIN PROBLEM

- Summary: The auto in question was, and is, under the new car warranty - While driving forward, one of the automobile's display screens displayed an error message stating "Transmission error - Reverse gear not available"; this in itself is not a major issue as the car was in a forward gear. The major safety issue is that the car would not shift gears once this error message cam up. The error has occurred multiple times and, thankfully, did not happen at a critical time - i.e. merging onto a highway. The first time this happened was on August 6, 2020. Porsche was notified of the issue and I was told there was no fix at the time. It happened multiple other times and every time the dealer told me that there wasn't a fix. Porsche did apply a "temporary" fix in the November/December, 2020 timeframe, but this was not permanent and the error happened at least once more after the fix. I continued to check in with the dealer and was always told there was no resolution. In June, 2021 I reached out to Porsche directly, they responded one month later and said they would investigate. In July I was told that there might be a fix by the dealer, but was never called back. I have requested that Porsche buy-back the vehicle given this history, but they indicated that there was a fix and that they would not provide any further resolution. The dealer has applied a software "fix", but I have no faith that this will be permanent, given their history and that it took longer than a year to possibly resolve. This is not unique to my vehicle, per online message boards

- Summary: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2017-2021 Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera GTS and Panamera Turbo vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of specific model names and model years. Humidity may enter the external coolant pump for the climate control system and cause an electrical short circuit.
- Consequence: An electrical short circuit increases the risk of a vehicle fire.
- Remedy: Dealers will replace the external coolant pump and inspect and replace the plug-in connection, if necessary, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed March 6, 2023. Owners will receive a second notice once remedy becomes available, anticipated July 2023. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is APA1.

Note: This recall supersedes recall 19V115 and includes vehicles that were previously remedied under that campaign.

I was really spoiled by my 2010 Panny. Despite people saying it was ugly, they all came around when they experienced the thrill of the ride. It had the growl, the moves, and the panache. After 8 years, I wanted to trade in my convertible for a Targa, but I couldn't bear to part with my Panny. The sales guy suggested a new 2017 Panamera, but I was hesitant since the 2018 models had already been out for six months. However, this 2017 black beauty with all black smoked out accessories had only 22 miles on it. I have to admit, it looked great, but I tried to resist. I thought my 2010 cockpit would never be matched. When I slid in, it felt strange, but it turned out to be a smaller car to drive, yet spacious from the inside. Then, when I hit the throttle, it growled - they're now piping the growl through the speakers, how sweet! I still miss my cockpit, the lighted door sills, the window shades I never used, and even the thermal tinting that fails to allow my EZpass toll transmitter but a small cut out to function. All those little things you love and hate after eight years of a marriage, but they all went poof when a guy turned the corner, leaned his head out the window and said, 'Boss Car!' Yes, it is, and I punched it.

Hello! I currently own a 2013 Panamara 4 and recently had the opportunity to test drive an '18 S edition. While it's hard to complain about such a well-built car, I did notice a few things that disappointed me when comparing it to my 2013 model. Firstly, the dashboard is higher and the clock impeded my vision. Secondly, the electronic dashboard was difficult to use with gloves on, which can be a problem in NE Ohio. Additionally, the layout is not as intuitive as previous year models, which had Porsche's long-endured one button, one function philosophy. Lastly, the variable ratio power steering did not seem to work. Overall, it's usually the minor things that can disappoint an owner or potential buyer of a $100K+ vehicle. I was surprised at Porsche's lack of attention to detail on this successful model for the car brand. Thank you for listening to my feedback!

I recently upgraded my car from a 2017 Panamera 4S to a Panamera Turbo. While the 4S engine was a bit of a letdown compared to the naturally aspirated V8 of the 2010-2013 model, the Panamera Turbo is a completely different experience. The 4L V8 engine is incredibly responsive and has a great sound. Despite being more powerful, it also provides better mileage than the 4S engine. If you're considering a Panamera, I highly recommend going for the Turbo model instead of the 4S. You won't regret it!
