Summary: TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 (NA) NISSAN LEAF. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY SHOOK AND VIBRATED VIOLENTLY. AFTER RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ERRONEOUSLY ACCELLERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS FAULTY. THE FAILURE WAS NOT IMMEDIETLY REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,500.
