You made a great choice in 2020 when you bought this car used with only 25k miles on it. It was in mint condition and came with all the bells and whistles. You mentioned that you only drive it around town and on small road trips, which sounds like a perfect fit for your needs. I noticed that you swapped out the run flat tires because they were too stiff, and you also changed the engine shocks and plugs, which really made a difference in its performance. It's great that it's easy to park anywhere and that the back seat is perfect for young grandkids. It's impressive that the car is still worth more today than when you bought it, which is a testament to its quality. Well done!

I bought this as a barely used Mini with 17000 miles only has 38000 now. Love it! It has a lot of power, and I never get left in the dust. It also has wonderful gas mileage and is a noticeably pretty car. I was surprised by how roomy it is. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone wanting a great car.

I've only had the car for a couple of days but so far it's the best car I have ever driven. It's so much fun to drive! The attention to detail is incredible and it only took me two times driving the car to learn most of the features. I'm excited to learn even more.

It's great to hear that you find the car fun to drive and spacious, especially with your height. The fold-down back seats are also a convenient feature for loading larger items. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Make sure to read the owner's manual carefully. This is a high compression engine and it is recommended to use 93 octane fuel, preferably without 10% alcohol. You may notice an improvement of 3-5 mpg without alcohol. If you experience hesitation or power loss, try using a high-grade DETERGENT fuel injection cleaner like Lucas. Avoid using cheap brand names as they may only dissolve solids in your gas tank and move them up to your injectors. I personally had a great experience with Lucas when I bought a cheap 07 MINI that was running rough. After using it for 2 consecutive tanks of gas, it runs like new! It is recommended to use it 2-4 times a year, depending on whether you drive more or less than 12k per year.

As a long-time BMW MINI owner who has always loved them, my point of view may not be relevant to those who haven't previously owned a MINI. The BMW MINI was attractive because of its small size, uniqueness, and fun-to-drive nature. It was like therapy, as one local reviewer in Maryland put it. However, BMW seems to be following the same route as Ford did with its innovative car in the '60s, which eventually became a parody of itself. BMW is turning the MINI into just another compact car to address the negatives appearing in professional reviews. They have tried to make up for this by adding high-tech gimmickry, like color-changing LEDs and artificial sound effects, which serve only to make a cartoon out of the car. The car has gotten huge compared to the previous MINIs. If you are buying this car for rear seat room and a living room on wheels ride, you are in the wrong place. The 2015/2016 MINI hardtops are almost indistinguishable from the Countryman, both viewed from the outside and when sitting inside. This isn't because the Countryman is tiny. On the technical side, one could say everything is The average driver may find the size of the car cramped and the ride to be hard, which could lead them to tire of it quickly. However, those who have fond memories of the original MINI may still find it appealing. Personally, I have moved on to other cars such as the Miata or GTI. I would like to note that I no longer own a MINI, but I did test drive the 2019 Countryman S and Cooper S. The quality has improved significantly, resulting in a quieter and smoother ride. However, the unique and fun features that made MINI stand out are becoming less prominent, and the prices are getting too high. A fully equipped Countryman S can cost up to $44,000.

I love the car! It's fun to drive, quick, nimble, and I happen to think it's cute too. However, it's not the cheapest compact you can buy and the quality for the price really isn't there. I wish they would put as much pride and quality into the car as it deserves.

I understand that the maintenance, repairs, and depreciation can be overwhelming for a working-class consumer. It can feel like the savings on gas are lost in repairs, and it may be difficult to sell the car later on. However, it's worth noting that the build quality is better than that of a Fiat. I hope this information helps!
