The Lexus RX (Japanese: レクサス・RX, Hepburn: Rekusasu RX) is a luxury crossover SUV sold since 1998 by Lexus, a luxury division of Toyota. Originally released in its home market of Japan in late 1997 as the Toyota Harrier, export sales began in March 1998 as the Lexus RX.

Considered as the first luxury crossover SUV, five generations of the RX have been produced to date, the first being compact in size, and the latter classified as mid-size. Both front- and four-wheel drive configurations have been used on the RX series, and several gasoline powertrain options, including V6 engines and hybrid systems, have been offered. In the Lexus model lineup, the RX sits below the larger Lexus LX (marketed as the Toyota Land Cruiser body-on-frame SUVs outside North America, respectively), and above the shorter and less wider, but taller GX SUV. The name "RX" stands for "Radiant Crossover". It has also been labelled as "Recreational Cross Country" in some markets. The RX's current Toyota counterpart is the Highlander/Kluger; past counterparts included the Harrier and Venza.

The first-generation RX 300, fitted with a 3.0-liter V6 engine, began sales in 1998. The Japanese market Harrier released in 1997 also offered a 2.2-liter inline-four, later uprated to 2.4 liters. The second-generation RX 300 (3.0-liter V6) and RX 330 (3.3-liter V6) models went on sale in 2003, with both variants supplanted by the more powerful RX 350 (3.5-liter V6) in 2006. Like the previous series, a 2.4-liter inline-four engine was sold alongside the 3.0-liter V6 in the Japanese market Harrier. In 2005, a hybridized gasoline-electric version of the 3.3-liter second-generation model was made available as the RX 400h in export markets and as the Harrier Hybrid in Japan. For the third generation released in 2009, both RX 350 (3.5-liter V6) and RX 450h (3.5-liter V6 hybrid) models were initially offered, with an entry-level RX 270 (2.7-liter inline-four) offered by Lexus in some Asian markets, including in Japan, since 2010. Since the release of the third generation, Japanese sales have occurred under the RX name as opposed to Harrier as had been the case previously. In the fourth generation, a turbocharged (2.0-liter inline-four) RX 200t/300 model was introduced to replace the previous 2.7-liter unit.

The RX has been assembled at Toyota Motor Kyushu since launch. The RX and RX Hybrid were the first Lexus models to be built outside Japan, with North American market versions produced at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada plant in Cambridge, Ontario beginning 2003 (RX) and expanded in 2014 (RX Hybrid). Hybrid transaxles are built at the Kokura plant in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka since 2009.

Common 2007 Lexus Rx400h problems

Based on complaints from owners of the 2007 Lexus RX400h, several common problems have been identified:

  • Hybrid Battery Pack: The hybrid battery pack has been reported to fail before 100,000 miles in some vehicles, which can be a costly component to replace.
  • Braking System: Some owners have experienced braking problems with the regenerative braking system, requiring extra pressure on the brake pedal or issues with the braking system not working properly. A software upgrade or dealer intervention may be necessary to address these issues.
  • Rattling Noise from Rear Seats: Owners have noticed a rattling noise coming from the rear seats, especially when driving over speed bumps or poorly surfaced roads. This issue is caused by poor fitments of the rear seats, allowing for some play in the seat mechanism. Adjusting and tightening the rear seats can resolve this problem.
  • Inverter Leaks: There have been reports of the inverter leaking coolant, which can be identified by lower liquid levels in the inverter coolant reservoir or a crusty pink substance around the inverter. Replacing the inverter can be expensive, but if the vehicle is under warranty, Lexus may cover the cost of repair.
  • Climate System Issues: Problems with the climate system, including the AC compressor, blower motor, condenser, evaporator, and heater system, have been reported. Issues such as engine stalling when the compressor kicks on, electrical failures, refrigerant leakage, and costly repairs have been highlighted by some owners.

These common problems with the 2007 Lexus RX400h should be carefully considered by potential buyers or current owners to ensure proper maintenance and address any issues promptly.

Absolutely reliable and a great car to own/drive

Now in 2023 it has 174,000 miles. It still runs like new, handles well, and is very comfortable. I have done maintenance and just did the Timing belt, spark plugs, and CVT fluid change. Toyota replaced the inverter under a recall so no issues there.

STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2022-08-06
  • VIN: 2t2hk31u37c
  • Components: STEERING,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES
  • Summary: Electrical system malfunction began (to my best calculation & recollection) in summer 2021 with the first of four battery malfunctions in one year. Each time, AAA discovered low battery response and recommended battery replacement. This time around, battery was replaced about two weeks prior, due to battery failure/AAA reporting would not accept charge. THE NEW BATTERY FAILED (8/3) and the starter broke while attempting to charge. Mechanic repaired starter and battery accepted the charge. No problem, right? Wrong. This driver drove about 30 miles and while driving, the electrical system shut down altogether. With I believe ALL WARNING LIGHTS LIGHTING UP, extremely dangerous situation. NO BREAKING, NO STEERING, NO WARNING. Fortunately, it occurred in a suburban residential area as opposed to the highway. SECOND tow to my mechanic and now, after a full week, no diagnosis, though the car has been running in the shop. This is an intermittent problem. I suspect the alternator.

STEERING,SUSPENSION,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2021-11-19
  • VIN: 2T2HK31U17C
  • Components: STEERING,SUSPENSION,FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
  • Summary: On November 19, 2021, I purchased a vehicle from cars Lane on Hanover Road in Annapolis Maryland. Upon driving back to my residence in Gaithersburg I noticed that there was significant shaking when the vehicle was driven over 60 miles an hour. I notified the dealership and seemed helpful at first. I took the car to a good year facility and pay to have an alignment. That seem to fix one of the issues however there were several more and many more I was later to find out. As well, the vehicle was also hard to steer when it came to trying to back up and turn the steering wheel. It also made a loud whining noise. I contacted the dealership again and told them of this problem. I have been out to the dealership several times upon realizing they do not have a mechanic on duty and whoever passed inspection on this car should be investigated. There is no way that this car should've passed inspection. The last time I went to the dealership upon talking with the owner I was told to bring the car in and they would take a look at it. Looking at it was all they did. I noticed that [XXX] was on the phone with the warranty people trying to determine if the items that I complained about were covered under the warranty. The woman on the phone informed him that they only covered a certain point of the cost. Now I have come to find out that this car has over $17,000 worth of work to be done. I would like to make a formal complaint about this dealership, its representative [XXX] and the mechanic that allegedly passed this vehicle for inspection. I welcome the opportunity to speak with you and supply you with all the necessary documentation concerning this matter. I have included a copy of the estimate from the Lexus dealership in Rockville, Maryland. It is my honest opinion that this car should've never been sold and have lied to me in the process and to throw the paperwork at me and tell me to take care of myself is unacceptable. They should be held accountable, fined, or shut down. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2022-02-06
  • VIN: JTJHW31U472
  • Components: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
  • Summary: The fuel delivery line is leaking, car will still run then quit however, interior and exterior smells like gas any slight spark could cause a fire. You can see fuel along the under carriage of the engine. I found Lexus has a recall for a leaking fuel delivery line, however I don't see my vehicle listed. Please investigate why my 2007 lexus rx400h did not get added to this recall list. Let me know if my vehicle could be added. Thank you for your time.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2021-11-01
  • VIN: JTJGW31U972
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
  • Summary: Dear all I bought this car in 2016. It was imported from USA to UAE now registered in Abu Dhabi. The car completely stalled while stopping at inclined position for about 10 minutes in front of a security barrier. READY lasts for less than 5 seconds and disappear. The car could not be started again for three month. Local dealer [XXX] Indicated they are not handling imported vehicles except from GCC region. A local repair company identified the problem by error code P0A78 but told the repair cost will be heavy. What could I do with my car which still under recall in USA for repair of the same INVERTER problem? Appreciating your help. SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2021-09-01
  • VIN: JTJHW31U572
  • Components: SERVICE BRAKES
  • Summary: Toyota and Lexus are aware of the fact that what is called break actuator assembly, part number 44050-48191 (for Toyota Highlander Hybrid 2006-2007, and new part number for Lexus RX400h 2006-2007) and 44510-48060 (old/original part number for RX400h 2006-2007) are faulty resulting in the break system failing creating an extremely dangerous situation. Toyota extended the warranty for the part, but this extended warranty does not cover all vehicles, as it is not a recall. (The extended warranty has a maximum 150K miles or 10years clause but this is beyond the point regardless.) The part and repair costs more then $3000 at a Toyota/Lexus dealer. Toyota/Lexus is not offering a recall to avoid paying for the large number of cars out there with this well known issue which essentially renders the cars not drivable, unless the owner pays out of pocket what is close to half the current value of the car, for a defective item that is failing consistently in all these cars. Toyota/Lexus should recall the part, rather than just offering an extended warranty. This is a very well known problem, for which people have complained (including in NHTSA) for years, which forced Toyota/Lexus extend the warranty, but this is not enough as it does not cover all vehicles that it should cover.

SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2021-02-20
  • VIN: JTJGW31U172
  • Components: SERVICE BRAKES
  • Summary: CAR HAS BEEN MAKING A CLICKING NOISE DURING STOPS FOR A YEAR. I CHALKED IT UP TO SOMETHING UNIMPORTANT. ON 2/20/21, THE 'CHECK AVS,' 'CHECK ABS,' AND 'CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM' LIGHTS ALL CAME ON, AND CAR LURCHED WHILE BACKING OUT OF MY DRIVEWAY. I WAS DRIVING MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER AT THE TIME. BROUGHT LEXUS TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC ON 2/22/21. AFTER SEVERAL DAYS, MECHANIC RETURNED THE CAR TO ME, SAYING HE COULD HEAR THE CLICKING AND, ACCORDING TO HIS RESEARCH, IT COULD BE THE BRAKE ACTUATOR GIVEN LEXUS HAD DONE A WARRANTY EXTENSION ON THIS PART IN 2016. HE TOLD ME THIS REPAIR WOULD COST IN THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS, AND ADVISED ME TO CONTACT LEXUS. SPOKE WITH LEXUS BRAND MANAGER ON 2/25 WHO TOLD ME ABOUT WARRANTY EXTENSION ZLG FOR ACTUATORS IN 2016, AND TOLD ME THAT IN ORDER FOR LEXUS TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER OR NOT THE CAR WAS EXPERIENCING AN ACTUATOR FAILURE, IT MUST BE INSPECTED BY A LEXUS SERVICE CENTER. BECAUSE I WAS TOLD ABOUT THE SPECIFIC EXTENSION AND ASKED TO TAKE IT TO LEXUS TO DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE, I ASSUMED LEXUS WOULD COVER THE REPAIR COST. I TOOK THE CAR TO LEXUS SANTA MONICA ON 3/2/21 AND WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS RELATED TO THE BRAKE ACTUATOR, AND THAT THE COST TO REPAIR WOULD BE $3000 PLUS TAX. I RELAYED TO LEXUS SM WHAT I WAS TOLD BY LEXUS CORPORATE, AND LEXUS SM TOLD ME THEY WOULD CALL LEXUS CORPORATE AND SEE WHAT THEY HAD TO SAY ABOUT WARRANTY EXTENSION 'ZLG.' ULTIMATELY, LEXUS WOULD NOT COVER COST BECAUSE THE PART WAS OUTSIDE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER LEXUS CASE MANAGER ABOUT WHY A WARRANTY EXTENSION WAS OFFERED AS OPPOSED TO A RECALL, AND HE SAID I SHOULD LODGE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA. I ALSO SPOKE WITH HIS SUPERVISOR, WHO SAID LEXUS WOULD NEVER PAY FOR A PART OUTSIDE A WARRANTY, EVEN A FAULTY PART GIVEN AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. NOBODY IN THE LEXUS CHAIN OF COMMAND CAN TELL ME IF THE CAR IS SAFE TO DRIVE. I WILL SUPPORT CLASS ACTION SUIT.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2020-10-02
  • VIN: JTJGW31U572
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,UNKNOWN OR OTHER,SERVICE BRAKES
  • Summary: "CHECK VSC" SYSTEM WITH ACCOMPANYING CONTINUOUS BEEP NOISE, BRAKES BECOME HARD TO PUSH/ACTIVATE. THIS STARTED A FEW WEEKS AGO, AND WOULD HAPPEN INTERMITTENTLY, AND PROGRESSIVELY LONGER IN THE DYSFUNCTIONAL BRAKES PHASE. I HAD AN EMPLOYEE AT AUTO ZONE CLEAR THE CODE 2 DAYS AGO, BUT THE PROBLEM STARTED AGAIN, INTERMITTENTLY UPON VEHICLE START, BUT WOULD GO AWAY SHORTLY, WITH NORMALLY RESPONSIVE BRAKES. THIS INTERMITTENT ISSUE OCCURS WHEN I AM DRIVING, THEREFORE THIS IS A SERIOUS ROAD HAZARD AS MY BRAKES BECOME SIGNIFICANTLY LESS RESPONSIVE WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS. IN OTHER WORDS, THIS OCCURS WHEN STATIONARY AND WHEN DRIVING, INTERMITTENTLY.

ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2020-09-22
  • VIN: 2T2HK31UX7C
  • Components: ENGINE
  • Summary: I PURCHASED A USED 2007 LEXUS RX350 FOR MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. IT HAD A LITTLE OVER 100K MILES. EVERYTHING WORKED PERFECTLY, NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER. UNTIL, MY SON BORROWED IT, AND WHILE HE WAS DRIVING IT, HE SAID IT QUIT. HE LOST ALL POWER STEERING, SO HE PULLED OVER. WE CALLED A TOW TRUCK TO TOW IT TO A MECHANIC. WHEN THE MECHANIC CALLED ME, HE SAID THE OIL COOLING LINE BUSTED, WHICH MADE THE OIL PUMP EMPTY THE ENGINE'S OIL. HE SAID IT WOULD NEED A WHOLE NEW ENGINE. HE SAID THE CAR IS WORTH NOTHING. I PAID $9K FOR THIS CAR A YEAR AGO, AND NOW IT IS NOT WORTH $100. THE MECHANIC SAID THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM FOR TOYOTA/LEXUS, BUT THERE WAS NO RECALL. TO ME - THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. IN MY OPINION, SINCE TOYOTA KNEW OF THIS PROBLEM, BUT DIDN'T RECALL IT, THEY EITHER NEED TO COVER THE COST OF A NEW ENGINE, OR BUY THE CAR BACK FROM ME. I AM VERY UPSET OVER THIS.

  • Summary: THE LIGHTS ALL CAME ON ABS SYSTEM CAME ON STABILIZER AIR BAG TOOK TO LEXUS THEY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS THE BRAKE ACTUATOR I RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT ON LEXUS CLUB THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM WITH MY YEAR AND OTHER YEARS THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THIS BY GIVING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. BUT FALL SHORT TO ASSIST WITH AFTER. THERE IS MANY COMPLAINTS I RESEARCHED THERE IS ALSO A NOISE THAT IS RELATED TO THIS PROBLEM THE NOISE COMES FROM THE ACTUATOR, BUT BEING UNFAMILIAR WITH THE CAR NORMAL FEATURES I FAILED TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM I HAVE HEARD THIS NOISE FOR A VERY LONG TIME I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THIS PULSE BUT THOUGHT IT WAS NORMAL I OWNED THIS VEHICLE NOW FOR 5 YEARS. I THOUGHT THE NOISE WAS THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM LOWING THE VEHICLE AIR DOWN LIKE MY NAVIGATOR DID BUT THAT WAS THE NOISE OF THE ACTUATOR GOING OUT. THE BRAKES ALWAYS FELT LIKE THEY HAD A DELAY OR HIT HARD LIKE A JERK JUST THOUGHT THIS WAS CAUSED BY SENSITIVITY. IT UPSETS ME THAT LEXUS IS AND HAS BEEN AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND NEVER INFORMED ME AND THE PROBLEM JUST GOT WORSE THE BRAKE SYSTEM IS SO VITAL WHY WOULD THEY NOT AFTER THEY REALIZED THIS IS A PROBLEM I HAD THE WARRANTY PROVIDER WHOM EXTENDED THIS WARRANTY ON THIS PART BUT NEITHER INFORMED ME EVEN THOUGH BOTH HAD MY CURRENT INFORMATION. ITS A PROBLEM THAT LEXUS AND ITS MOTHER TOYOTA KNOW OF AND FAILED TO MAKE THE PROBLEM RIGHT. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM AND THEY RECOGNIZE IT WHY NOT MAKE IT RIGHT! THE SHININESS REFLECTS WHILE DRIVING LOCALLY AND/OR HIGHWAY, AND AFFECTS VISIBILITY. APPARENTLY, LEXUS IS AWARE OF THESE ISSUES AND TOOKS STEPS TO RECTIFIES THESE ISSUES; HOWEVER, I HAD MENTIONED THESE ISSUES BACK IN 2016 TO MY DEALERSHIP WHOM DIDN'T ADDRESS IT AS A DEFECT HENCE WHY I DIDN'T THINK IT WAS A DEFECT UNTIL NOW SINCE MY DASHBOARD RECENTLY STARTED CRACKING. APPARENTLY, THERE HAS BEEN CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR THIS ISSUE, BUT DIDN'T REALIZE THESE WERE DEFECTS UNTIL I CONTACTED LEXUS REGARDING THIS MATTER -- UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, THEY'RE NOT HONORING FIXING THESE ISSUES BECAUSE IT'S OUTSIDE THE WARRANTY. THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY ISSUE NOR IS IT COMESTIC; IT'S A DEFECT. *TR

The Intelligent Power Module (IPM) inside the inverter module may contain transistors that have higher operating temperatures than the solder can support and the transistors may be heat damaged by the solder. If this occurs, various warning lamps, including the malfunction indicator lamp, slip indicator light, brake system warning light, and master warning light, will be illuminated on the instrument panel.
  • Consequence: The vehicle may enter a fail-safe/limp-home mode that limits the drivability of the vehicle. It is possible that the hybrid system will shut down while the vehicle is being driven, causing the vehicle to stall unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
  • Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the IPM free of charge. Owners may contact Toyota at 1-800-331-4331. Vehicles that had their IPM replaced under recall 11V-342 are not affected by this campaign.

  • Manufacturer: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing
  • Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
  • Summary: TOYOTA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2006-2007 HIGHLANDER HYBRID AND LEXUS RX400H PASSENGER CARS MANUFACTURED FROM FEBRUARY 16, 2005, THROUGH AUGUST 30, 2006. A MODULE INSIDE THE INVERTER MODULE MAY CONTAIN INADEQUATELY SOLDERED TRANSISTORS THAT DURING HIGH-LOAD DRIVING, MAY BE DAMAGED BY HEAT CAUSED BY THE LARGE CURRENT.
  • Remedy: TOYOTA/LEXUS MAILED AN INTERIM OWNER NOTIFICATION ON JULY 19, 2011 TO ADVISE OWNERS OF THIS RECALL AND THE FACT THAT THEY WILL RECEIVE A FUTURE NOTICE WHEN PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE REPAIRS. TOYOTA DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE HYBRID INVERTER PRODUCTION NUMBER TO DETERMINE WHETHER THE INVERTER CONTAINS SUSPECT TRANSISTORS AND REPLACE THE MODULE FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331.

  • Manufacturer: TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
  • Components: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
  • Summary: TOYOTA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2004-2006 HIGHLANDER, HIGHLANDER HYBRID, AND MODEL YEAR 2004-2007 LEXUS RX330, RX350, AND RX400H VEHICLES. IF THE FORWARD RETENTION CLIP USED TO SECURE THE FLOOR CARPET COVER, WHICH IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF THE CENTER CONSOLE, IS NOT INSTALLED PROPERLY THE COVER MAY LEAN TOWARD THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND INTERFERE WITH THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ARM.
  • Consequence: IF THIS OCCURS, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY TEMPORARILY BECOME STUCK IN A PARTIALLY DEPRESSED POSITION RATHER THAN RETURN TO THE IDLE POSITION. A STUCK ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY RESULT IN UNINTENDED AND SUSTAINED VEHICLE SPEEDS AND MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO STOP, INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
  • Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FLOOR CARPET COVER WITH A NEWLY DESIGNED ONE FREE OR CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING MARCH 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT TOYOTA AT 1-800-331-4331.

Before purchasing this vehicle, you may want to consider a few things. I am 5'6

  2. Alejandrin Lang 2024-03-12

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my experience with the Lexus vehicles I have owned. I am a proud owner of an LS 430, which I believe is the best vehicle I have ever owned. However, I have been a bit disappointed with my RX400h. The fuel economy has been below my expectations, averaging 19-20 mpg in normal driving, which is mostly in town, and 22-23 mpg on a trip. I have reached out to the dealership about this, but unfortunately, they have not been able to provide a satisfactory solution. I have noticed that the gas engine cuts in at too low a speed, which may be contributing to the issue. Additionally, as someone who is 6'2

Positive 2007 Lexus Rx400h car reviews

  1. Ubaldo Cummings 2024-11-26

The 400h has great acceleration and is a well-built, comfortable car. Its average gas mileage of 28 MPG is consistent with other reviews. However, the navigation system is the worst part of the package. On the other hand, Acura has an excellent navigation system.

  2. Carlo Hackett 2024-11-16

This car is especially high-performing for mountain driving. I appreciate the low emissions, which not only help the environment but also enhance the pleasure of driving this car.

  3. Nathanial Hegmann 2024-10-29

I have 170k on my 400h. I've put around 100k miles on it since I've owned it. It's been the best vehicle I've owned by far! It's been so reliable and smooth. Simply the best!

  4. Gayle McClure 2024-10-04

This has been an exceptional vehicle in all respects! The local dealership has been excellent since purchase. All service has been completed in a timely fashion and with great care for our time and convenience.

  5. Gerard Prosacco 2024-09-07

The navigation system can be quite complicated, even for someone with a PhD in Engineering like myself. Additionally, the cargo space may be a bit shallow and the screen can be difficult to read in bright daylight. However, the car's performance is quite good and it has proven to be very reliable. While I personally prefer the Mercedes S-Class, the Lexus is still a great option.
