Once you notice it, you can't unsee it. The front glass defroster's 'filament' is right in your face, which is not a great design. I hope KIA offers a replacement option. Although it's not a necessary feature in most western states, the audio system could be better. Unfortunately, there's no KIA 'Quantum Sound' option for the top-level (Prestige) trim, so if high-end audio is your thing, you won't find it here. It's ludicrous that the top trim doesn't include a Homelink mirror, and you have to pay extra for it. On the bright side, the car rides and looks nice, handles well, and has abundant technology. Make sure to review KIA's actual warranty, and don't fall for the exaggerated 10-year hyperbole. You only get a 1-year bumper-to-bumper warranty. As for our experience, we've had no problems with the vehicle so far.

If you're reading this, you've probably come across many reviews discussing the additional cost for add-ons, the so-so fuel economy, and other drawbacks. While those points are valid, I want to share my positive experience with this car. We chose it for its spaciousness, comfort, well-designed interior, and most importantly, its safety features. I was amazed when it stopped itself as I let it coast towards a stopped semi at 30mph. The auto driving features are incredible - during a two-hour commute, I didn't touch the steering wheel or gas/brakes once. For what it's worth, we have the SX-Prestige and added an adapter for wireless android auto, taking advantage of the built-in wireless charger. I couldn't ask for more from a vehicle - and we're averaging 36mpg without even trying to be fuel efficient. After considering our family's needs, we chose this car. While there are options with better fuel economy, luxury, and sportier engines, none had the right combination that this car does. At the end of the day, I bought the car that I wanted to drive.

I recently switched from a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Lux to a 2023 Kia Sportage ex Hybrid. While I do like my Kia and it has a nice ride, there are a few things that I am not fond of. For example, the rain sensing windshield wipers constantly fail to clear the windshield when wet, and there is no intermittent timing of the wipers. Additionally, the review mirror does not dim when a vehicle is behind you, and unless you have the Kia app, you cannot tell if the car is running or not when you remote start it. The Kia also tends to wander a little bit, but it does have lane assist to help with this. While adjusting the fan speed, you have to take your eyes off the road to tap the fan icon, which is quite small, to increase or decrease the speed. I prefer the knob type where you can keep your eyes on the road. Lastly, lifting the wiper arms is a bit tricky as they are slightly below the hood. You have to turn on the accessory function and then lift the wiper handle in the up position for 3 seconds and the wipers will move up. Overall, these are all new technologies that I will have to get used to, but I am hopeful that I will adjust soon. I am giving my Kia 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the issues I have mentioned.I'm planning on keeping my Kia for longer than my previous vehicles, which I used to trade in every 2-3 years.

Our new Sportage Hybrid Prestige is an excellent choice. The hybrid engine provides a powerful and quiet ride for a crossover, making it stand out from the competition. With its spacious interior, great MPG, and advanced driving technology, including the lane keeping assist on highways, this SUV is a top performer. The luxurious interior is a great value for the price point. While we would have appreciated power folding mirrors and wireless CarPlay, the wireless charging feature is still a useful addition. Overall, we have had no issues with our purchase.

This car has all the perks! The Kia 2023 Sportage Prestige Hybrid comes with comfortable leather-like heated/cooling seats, a panoramic sunroof, a huge digital dashboard, and 38 MPG! It also has so much cargo room and an auto lift gate. Not to mention the sparkling paint! I haven't found a negative thing to report yet! I absolutely love it and would 100% recommend it!

Hi there! I noticed that you mentioned your vehicle's AC hasn't been working properly even after taking it to the dealer twice. That must be frustrating! I'm glad to hear that you have a claim with Kia USA to help resolve the issue. On a positive note, it's great that your driver's side window trim was replaced under warranty. Thanks for sharing your experience with me!

I used to own a '23 LX, which was a great car despite lacking some essential safety features such as standard blind spot monitoring and LED directional signals on the side view mirrors. However, I did experience a major issue with the engine making a knocking or rattling noise at 2200 rpm and higher, which was especially noticeable with the passenger window open. I took the car to two different dealerships three times, waiting between a month to a month-and-a-half for each appointment. On the third visit, I even rode with the service tech who confirmed the noise but had to refer the issue to the master mechanic. The master mechanic stated he did not know what was causing the knocking and had to keep the car overnight as he was conferring with engineers. During this time, I had to rent a car as the dealership no longer provided loaners, costing me $200 on top of the aggravation. Despite audible confirmation of the issue, all visits resulted in

I read several reviews and watched YouTube videos before test driving the Kia Sportage Hybrid. While I had high expectations for a smooth ride, I was a bit disappointed. It's not bad, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Having driven Prius cars for years, I found the ride to be less quiet and smooth in comparison. That being said, it's still a decent car overall.

My 23 Kia Sportage hybrid with 25k miles broke down a mile from my house a few days ago. Despite all the warning lights flashing, the vehicle wouldn't start or move at all. Tow drivers mentioned that they have been towing these all week. While there are forums with people having this same experience, I am confident in my decision to move on from this vehicle. I have decided to purchase a used Lexus 450 H and part ways with my Kia. Thank you for the warning, but I am confident in my decision to move on to a more reliable vehicle.
