I read several reviews and watched YouTube videos before test driving the Kia Sportage Hybrid. While I had high expectations for a smooth ride, I was a bit disappointed. It's not bad, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Having driven Prius cars for years, I found the ride to be less quiet and smooth in comparison. That being said, it's still a decent car overall.

My 23 Kia Sportage hybrid with 25k miles broke down a mile from my house a few days ago. Despite all the warning lights flashing, the vehicle wouldn't start or move at all. Tow drivers mentioned that they have been towing these all week. While there are forums with people having this same experience, I am confident in my decision to move on from this vehicle. I have decided to purchase a used Lexus 450 H and part ways with my Kia. Thank you for the warning, but I am confident in my decision to move on to a more reliable vehicle.

After 6 weeks, I can confidently say that this car lives up to all of its advertised features. The only minor drawback is that the outside mirrors do not fold.

I absolutely love my SX Prestige in Matte Gray/Red Interior! The Carbon Fiber trim on the piano black door trim and center consular looks fantastic, and the rest of the trim that comes with the SX Prestige is really cool too. As my first Matte vehicle, I'm being extra careful with it and had it professionally ceramic coated inside and out, and had XPEL PPF protection film put on it. I also opted for XPEL ceramic tints for the entire vehicle to keep the heat out. The car looks amazing and turns heads wherever I go. The SX Prestige is a major upgrade from the EX trim, with its cool digital dash and amazing blind spot camera that shows up right in front of you. The rear legroom for the kids is class leading and the trunk space is impressive too. The drivers seat is super comfy for long drives, as I drove home 600 miles from where I bought the vehicle for msrp. It’s marked up all over the nation at this time. The car drives super smooth and is the most quiet vehicle in its class. The only downside is the heated windshield (SX Prestige trim), as the tiny wires in the windshield can be somewhat distracting when driving. On the other hand, my Sportage PHEV X-Line is a lemon and is being returned, but I have 2,000 miles on this one and no issues. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend the SX Prestige to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable ride.

We've had this car for about 3 months and we are really enjoying it! We were considering a Honda CRV, but we found that the CRVs didn't have as many models to get it to a decent price point. Additionally, the Honda hybrid was about $4,000 more expensive with any kind of comparable features. However, we absolutely love the innovative interior of this car, which is much better than the Honda or Toyota RAV4 that we looked at. :-) The only downside is the backup beeping, but we understand that it's a regulation for quiet cars. It may seem silly at home, but it makes a lot of sense in a crowded parking lot. The only thing we wish we had done differently was to find enough money to get the SX model, as the EX model is fabulous, but the sunroof is pretty cool.

I purchased the 2023 Kia Sportage EX Hybrid in June 2022 when it was first released. At first, I was a bit hesitant about the Kia brand, but after driving this car for over a year, I can confidently say that it is one of the best cars in its class. I wish I could share photos here, but the fuel efficiency is incredible. For instance, last week, I went on a short vacation and drove a mix of long and short distances (city and highway). I covered a total of 375 miles with 43 mpg, even with three passengers. The fuel efficiency varies depending on the season, and it also depends on the driver. My wife always gets lower mpg than me. Overall, it's fantastic. In addition to the mpg, the ride is smooth, the acceleration is excellent, and we haven't had any issues despite using the car heavily. Compared to my previous cars, this one is awesome. I also appreciate the extended screen, which is very user-friendly. After this experience, I'm more interested in Kia and am considering their EV cars in the future. I hope the dealers don't have market-adjusted prices and add ridiculous markups to the MSRP. I highly recommend this car. It's a fantastic car with excellent fuel economy.
