I read several reviews and watched YouTube videos before test driving the Kia Sportage Hybrid. While I had high expectations for a smooth ride, I was a bit disappointed. It's not bad, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. Having driven Prius cars for years, I found the ride to be less quiet and smooth in comparison. That being said, it's still a decent car overall.

My 23 Kia Sportage hybrid with 25k miles broke down a mile from my house a few days ago. Despite all the warning lights flashing, the vehicle wouldn't start or move at all. Tow drivers mentioned that they have been towing these all week. While there are forums with people having this same experience, I am confident in my decision to move on from this vehicle. I have decided to purchase a used Lexus 450 H and part ways with my Kia. Thank you for the warning, but I am confident in my decision to move on to a more reliable vehicle.

I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my thoughts on the 2023 Kia Sportage SX Prestige. After waiting until the odometer hit 9,124 miles (with a mix of 60% highway and 40% city driving), I can confidently say that this vehicle has been a solid performer. My overall mileage since purchase is 36.1, and I consistently get 38-40 mpg in the city. On a recent 4500 mile road trip with speeds between 65 and 80, I averaged 33.9 mpg. The Sportage is impressively quiet, comfortable, and handles well. Plus, there's plenty of storage in the rear. I opted for the Harman Kardon stereo system, which sounds even better now that the new speakers have loosened up a bit. The safety features work well and the navigation is a breeze to use. I went with the matte gray finish, which looks fantastic, but keep in mind that it can't be run through a car wash. Touchless only, with as little sudsy stuff as possible. I had a ceramic coating applied, which has helped. The only downside to this vehicle is the touchy HVAC/entertainment controls. They can be a bit finicky, so be patient with them. Overall, this is hands down the best performing vehicle I've ever owned. It's quick, quiet, and comfortable, and so far, entirely trouble-free.

The Acura Rdx falls short of this SUV in many aspects. However, the back up light is a major design flaw that needs to be addressed. The light is located in the middle of the rear bumper, measuring only 3

I recently upgraded from a 2022 Tucson hybrid to a 2023 Kia Sportage and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the Sportage. While I do prefer the style of the Tucson, the Sportage has better features and a smoother ride. The interior of the Sportage is also a major improvement. The Sportage has a more conservative style compared to the Tucson, but I appreciate the attention to detail in the suspension tuning. I opted for the e x with the premium package on the Sportage, which is equivalent to the SEL convenience package on the Hyundai. The Sportage package has some fantastic features, such as the larger 12.25-inch screen and heated steering wheel. Overall, the Sportage feels more well-constructed and gets better gas mileage than the Tucson. I have been driving it for about two weeks now and it has been an absolute pleasure, even during rush hour traffic in North Seattle where I got an impressive 40.8 mpg. It's great to see that three different review sites agree with my positive experience.

Firstly, let me share that we replaced our 2023 Hyundai Tucson EX hybrid on impulse. Although it was a good vehicle, my wife and I had trouble getting in without a memory seat. Additionally, my wife wanted a red vehicle, which the Tucson did not come in. After test driving a 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid, we found it to be less refined and modern than the Tucson and Sportage hybrids. We decided to visit the salesman who sold me my 2019 Kia Optima EX five years ago, at Findlay Kia in Las Vegas. The salesman and dealership were fantastic in terms of price and service after buying the car. We informed the salesman that we were interested in a red Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid and requested him to contact us if one became available. In February, we purchased the Tucson and received a call in June that a red Sportage had arrived. The out-the-door price was as expected when we test drove the Sportage SX Prestige hybrid. We have been enjoying this car, particularly my wife, for about four months and have been very pleased. We took it on a trip from Las Vegas to San Diego and found that we could drive farther before taking a pit stop, as the car rides so comfortably. It is one of the quietest vehicles we have ever owned, with plenty of power and no issues in climbing some of the hills on I-15. Although my wife was initially unhappy with the mileage she was getting, about 30-32 mpgs, I drove the Sportage and found my overall mileage to be between 35 and 40 mpg, which is above the EPA rating of 38 mpg. There are two minor issues I have with the car. Firstly, the memory seats only control the seats, not the side mirrors. Secondly, the car did not come with a homelink mirror. However, I replaced the original rearview mirror with a homelink mirror from Amazon for $150, which took only 5 minutes to install and 15 minutes to set up. Overall, this is one of the best vehicles, if not the best, we have ever owned. It's great to hear that you find the car comfortable, quiet, powerful, economical, and spacious!

You'll love the EX Hybrid! Its interior is excellent - comfortable, spacious, and techy. Plus, its performance is outstanding - great gas mileage, speed, and handling. We tried out a few other small SUVs (CRV, Tuscon, CX-5), but this one stood out because of the quality and function you get for the price tag.
