This is definitely a safety hazard being that it is fuel and could easily cause a fire putting me my family and others at risk. I noticed there was a recall on these vehicles it is a Jaguar XF 2011 but it looks like it has been closed from what I can tell. I'm hoping that that's not the case and we can get this fixed with minimum or no charge thing it was a recall

- Summary: To the best of my ability id like to explain why my car does not operate . i have taken my car to two jaguar dealership and have talked to Rocco' s European car repair shop as well and the all say that what is defective with my car is the central junction box. When I asked them all as to why this does not function they all said its a known problem with the car specifically due to "water ingress" leaking from the windshield wiper pump and on to the underside of the Central junction box and my wires are corroded and cause electrical failure as the say water and electricity are not a safe combination. with this malfunction my car no longer starts . Yes of course my car is available for inspection and it has been confirmed by both Hennessey Jaguar of Atlanta and Jaguar south Atlanta both have provided documentation as to the necessity to change the central junction box and both dealership's are not privately owned and not connected to one another yet they state the same reason as to why my car will not function. Yes my 2013 jaguar is a dangerous vehicle to drive as the car doors spontaneously opened and closed on their own the interior lights turned on and off and some other malfunctions engaged even when not engaged to do so i believe the breaking system also flashed traction control turns on even though i didn't ask it to be turned on. i am afraid that my car with water in the junction box could lead to an electrical fire as told to me by numerous mechanics Yes my car was inspected by both dealerships in Atlanta and both diagnosed the problem and being the "CJB." The symptoms initially started with my doors mysteriously locking and unlocking and then other electrical problems occurred after that. These symptoms first appeared in 2021 and there were messages that flashed on the dash message especially one that said see owners handbook i may not be sure of the wording but that's essentially the message . this is my best assessment of the problems.

- Summary: The car employs a start/stop system to shut the engine when stopped. When it restarts the engine, the idle speed drops to about 400 RPM (half normal idle) and surges when it recovers. It has also stalled several times. I've asked the dealership to fix this, but when at the dealer, the system would not shut the engine so they have not verified the issue. The first safety issue happens if the driver is not expecting the surge resulting in sudden acceleration. The second issue happened when the car stalled at an intersection with other cars trying to get by. This has happened many times since I purchased the car in 2015. The stop/start function stopped working for a period of time when the primary battery was older and weak. Since replacing the batter, this is happening more frequently now. - Summary: I was driving my 2012 Jaguar XF on Highway 75 my car began to go from drive to neutral and changing gears on his own and I almost got hit by a semi-truck with the vehicle slowing down eventually I made it home with the vehicle and put it in park and never came out park again, the gear box had locked up that I was told by a local Jaguar repair shop. I could have lost my life that day with that car doing this and someone else can lose their life if this happen to them if you all don't make Jaguar fixed this problem, if it already hasn't happen to someone. I reported this problem to Jaguar today and they sound like they weren't interested in what I was telling them. They said they would open and case and they will close it. Do that make sense to you to open a case and close it?

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to share my experience with my car. I bought it brand new back in July and have already put 9,000 miles on it. Let me tell you, it's been a blast to drive! The car is so fast and handles like a dream. Plus, with all-wheel drive, it's perfect for my driving needs. I split my time between Los Angeles and my home in the local mountains, and the all-wheel drive has been flawless in all weather conditions. My previous car was a Subaru WRX, but this Jaguar is even faster and just as reliable in the snow. I've always been a manual transmission kind of person, but the 8-speed auto has really won me over. The car is also incredibly spacious, and the interior is so elegant. I love the simple and straightforward design of the dash and console - it's a refreshing change from the cluttered look of some German or Japanese luxury sedans. And the leather and wood trim are such a nice touch compared to the plastic you see in other cars. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a fun and stylish ride!

I had a coolant leak in my vehicle a few months after purchasing it used with 45k miles. Fortunately, this happened while it was still under warranty at 49k miles. The dealership was very helpful and stood by Jaguar's warranty. Although it took three trips to the dealer to get it fixed, they replaced the coolant reservoir, the Y pipe, and finally a leaking hose. Despite the frustration of having to go back to the dealer multiple times, they were great to work with and even provided me with a loaner car on two of the three occasions. Any car can have issues like this, so I'm not too critical of the vehicle. The car's exclusivity, looks, style, and used value are unbeatable. I specifically looked for a 2012 model because it was the first year of the model refresh, which gave it the seductive headlights and tail lights, and it was also the last year of the standard 5.0 L V8 motor. The car is great to drive, comfortable, and has a great sound system on the portfolio trim. The v8 delivers brisk, effortless acceleration that is sure to put a smile on your face. Preventative maintenance costs are reasonable as long as you avoid the dealer. I recently got a full synthetic oil change, fluids topped off, fuel injectors cleaned, 4 wheel-alignment, flat tire repair, different tire installed, and 2 air filters replaced all for $245. However, the interior build quality has developed a squeak/rattle, which only occurs in hot temperatures or when the car has been in the sun all day. It doesn't rattle at all during the winter or cold mornings. Overall, I would say that the 2012 XF is a great car, but now that they are out of warranty, I would probably opt for an in-warranty supercharged V6 XF of a later year.If anything major breaks on this Jag out of warranty, it could be quite expensive. Also, I noticed that my car does not have child safety anchors, even though the leather seats have indicators pointing to an area behind the seat. I'm not sure if this was overlooked during the building of my spec, but it's something to keep in mind.

I've owned pretty much every German brand, a few Japanese cars and two American sports cars. However, I wasn't even considering Jaguar as an option this go-around. But, I stopped at the dealership to check out the XE (which was too small for me). Then, I sat in the XF and realized that this was the perfect car for me due to its fit and finish. Once I took it for a test drive, I was hooked. It feels like a big cat ready to leap out of its skin! I highly recommend the XF! The car has many pros, including acceleration, exhaust note, handling, exterior looks, interior comfort, entertainment system, space for a family of 4, and touches of comfort not found in competing German brands. Although there are not many cons, I've had a small rattle on the passenger side door. However, Jaguar has been great about isolating and fixing the issue. Additionally, the auto start/stop feature can be maddening, but you just need to get used to turning it off when you start the car.

Before purchasing one of these, it's important to be cautious. While they may look great, I've experienced some reliability issues with mine. There have been a number of small problems, as well as a few larger ones. I've been informed that the shifter has some serious issues and will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, it has become stuck in either P(ark) or D(rive) and won't budge, making the car unusable and requiring a call to Jaguar Roadside Assistance. This has happened three times in the last two weeks, with the most recent occurrence happening as I was leaving the dealership after they had taken a week to complete the Jaguar recall on the issue. I've been using the car for 3 months now, and spent 10 days at the dealership. Unfortunately, it stalled twice without warning, and I had to have it towed once. However, I've heard that there is a recall for the 'Fuel Starvation' issue. I also had some wind noise, but that was fixed when I discovered that the moon roof wasn't sealed properly. There was a stain on the roof cloth that the dealer couldn't remove, but they did fix the issue with the USB key having to be reinserted sometimes due to a loose connection. They also fixed the preset station on the SAT radio that was erased, and the signal light that wasn't returning correctly. The only issue that hasn't been fixed is the Blackberry sometimes needing to reconnect. Despite these issues, the car is pretty fast and looks good. However, I must admit that these problems have made me lose my appetite for Jags...

I recently purchased a New Jaguar XF from the dealership, attracted by the brand's reputation for prestige and comfort. However, my experience with the vehicle has been disappointing. Within a year and a half of ownership, I have encountered several issues, including electrical problems with the windows and misfiring spark plugs. I have also been notified of two recalls. It's frustrating to pay a premium price for a luxury vehicle and receive poor quality work in return. I feel let down by the brand and the vehicle, and it's disheartening to drive an expensive car that doesn't live up to its price tag.

Overall, I really like my 2013 XF AWD. It drives well and handles the snow with ease. However, I have had some issues with the electronics. The overhead lamps sometimes turn on by themselves and when I put the car in park and remove my seat-belt, it will sometimes turn itself off completely. Unfortunately, the dealership has been unable to resolve the issues.

This is my second entree with Jaguar. I had purchased the XJ8L for my wife (her dream car), but found that it was just too big for her. However, the quality of the car was outstanding, so I decided on the 2009 XF. Let me tell you, the car is a real stunner! It handles like a premium sports car should and the fit and finish of the car is second to none. The interior is drop dead gorgeous. Unfortunately, we have experienced some issues with the car's reliability. The XF has a programming issue that allows the car's systems to remain active, which drains the battery. As a result, my wife has been stranded over half a dozen times in the 18 months we've had the car.
