This is definitely a safety hazard being that it is fuel and could easily cause a fire putting me my family and others at risk. I noticed there was a recall on these vehicles it is a Jaguar XF 2011 but it looks like it has been closed from what I can tell. I'm hoping that that's not the case and we can get this fixed with minimum or no charge thing it was a recall

Car surged once in driveway and I was blessed to hit the brake. Never again. I have waited more than six weeks for repair and Jaguar refuses to take responsibility for the problem.

- Summary: To the best of my ability id like to explain why my car does not operate . i have taken my car to two jaguar dealership and have talked to Rocco' s European car repair shop as well and the all say that what is defective with my car is the central junction box. When I asked them all as to why this does not function they all said its a known problem with the car specifically due to "water ingress" leaking from the windshield wiper pump and on to the underside of the Central junction box and my wires are corroded and cause electrical failure as the say water and electricity are not a safe combination. with this malfunction my car no longer starts . Yes of course my car is available for inspection and it has been confirmed by both Hennessey Jaguar of Atlanta and Jaguar south Atlanta both have provided documentation as to the necessity to change the central junction box and both dealership's are not privately owned and not connected to one another yet they state the same reason as to why my car will not function. Yes my 2013 jaguar is a dangerous vehicle to drive as the car doors spontaneously opened and closed on their own the interior lights turned on and off and some other malfunctions engaged even when not engaged to do so i believe the breaking system also flashed traction control turns on even though i didn't ask it to be turned on. i am afraid that my car with water in the junction box could lead to an electrical fire as told to me by numerous mechanics Yes my car was inspected by both dealerships in Atlanta and both diagnosed the problem and being the "CJB." The symptoms initially started with my doors mysteriously locking and unlocking and then other electrical problems occurred after that. These symptoms first appeared in 2021 and there were messages that flashed on the dash message especially one that said see owners handbook i may not be sure of the wording but that's essentially the message . this is my best assessment of the problems.

- Summary: The car employs a start/stop system to shut the engine when stopped. When it restarts the engine, the idle speed drops to about 400 RPM (half normal idle) and surges when it recovers. It has also stalled several times. I've asked the dealership to fix this, but when at the dealer, the system would not shut the engine so they have not verified the issue. The first safety issue happens if the driver is not expecting the surge resulting in sudden acceleration. The second issue happened when the car stalled at an intersection with other cars trying to get by. This has happened many times since I purchased the car in 2015. The stop/start function stopped working for a period of time when the primary battery was older and weak. Since replacing the batter, this is happening more frequently now. - Summary: I was driving my 2012 Jaguar XF on Highway 75 my car began to go from drive to neutral and changing gears on his own and I almost got hit by a semi-truck with the vehicle slowing down eventually I made it home with the vehicle and put it in park and never came out park again, the gear box had locked up that I was told by a local Jaguar repair shop. I could have lost my life that day with that car doing this and someone else can lose their life if this happen to them if you all don't make Jaguar fixed this problem, if it already hasn't happen to someone. I reported this problem to Jaguar today and they sound like they weren't interested in what I was telling them. They said they would open and case and they will close it. Do that make sense to you to open a case and close it?

Congratulations on finishing your Audi A6 lease! I was in a similar situation and was planning to stick with Audi, until I test drove the Jaguar XF. I was blown away by the XF S AWD's steering feel, handling, and responsiveness, which far exceeded the Audi and BMW 5 series. If you're someone who values the joy of driving, I highly recommend checking out the XF. The interior is elegantly simple and uncluttered, reminiscent of a comfortable driver's cockpit. It has all the necessary safety features like lane departure, blind spot warning, LED headlights, and parking aides. While Audi, BMW, and Mercedes may offer more sophisticated and shiny interiors, the XF's driving experience is truly unmatched. The XF S AWD may come with a higher price tag, but by picking the right color combination with a custom wheel appearance package, I was able to save $7-8K compared to the fully loaded models. Some dealers are willing to negotiate, especially towards the end of the month. Most dealers are currently offering discounts of 3-4K, but with patience and good timing, you may be able to double those savings. Additionally, the XF S AWD comes with a 5 year, 60K mile warranty, with prepaid maintenance, which is something that Audi and Mercedes don't offer and BMW only offers for 1 year and 10K less. I've been a BMW owner for 9 years and currently have two, but I was looking for something different and fun to drive. This car fit the bill perfectly. Welcome back Jaguar! They did an amazing job with this car, from the fit to the finish. I looked at MB, Lexus, Audi and Infiniti, but this car is definitely the best bang for the buck.

You would be crazy not to buy this luxury V8 for such a low price! The base 4.2 engine and 6-speed transmission are faultless and provide heavy torque and smooth shifting even at 200k. The leather seats are high quality and very comfortable, with minimal wear on the driver's seat. I have taken good care of this car, changing the oil every 10k and upgrading the brakes to vented and slotted rotors. Despite some minor electrical issues like the window motor and ECU, this car has been one of the best I have ever owned. Upon test driving, you should immediately feel how responsive it is. I think there is at least 75k miles left in this car, if not more. If you're thinking of buying a used XF, go for it! Although my kids say it's too much of a car for them, it's perfect for anyone who wants a reliable and luxurious ride. I'm an idiot for buying an extended warranty, as there is still 40k left and I have not used it except for roadside assistance when I ran out of gas. Anyway, whoever gets this car will be a lucky individual.

I wanted to share my experience with my 2011 XF 8 cylinder. I have driven it for 45,000 miles and have had zero issues or repairs. It is the best car I have ever owned. I have owned many new BMWs, MBZ, Honda, Toyota, etc. and none of them compare to its reliability. Maybe I just caught a good one, but I am very happy with my purchase. Fingers crossed it stays this way :)

Congratulations on your new 2010 XF luxury in Porcelain with the tan interior! It looks absolutely stunning and it's no surprise that you've received a ton of compliments. I love how you had the back bottom bumper piece painted the same Porcelain color - it really adds to the overall look of the car. The Chrome Package you got installed by the dealer sounds amazing too, with the 18 chrome wheels, Chrome side air vents, chrome rearview mirror covers and dark tinted windows. I leased this car in October 2017 because the lease deal was $399 zero down for a $63,000 car. The car has a lot of safety features and the best part is the supercharged engine. However, after a month of ownership, I experienced some issues with the rear view camera and the rear heated seat component. Although they were both replaced, the same issue occurred a week later. The speakers were also blown, but they were recently replaced. Unfortunately, the sunroof doesn’t close now. Since there aren’t many Jaguar dealerships in N.J., it can be difficult to get an appointment with a loaner car.

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that the car looks amazing both inside and out, especially considering its price point. Additionally, with the supercharger, it is faster than most cars in its class. However, I understand that you have had some issues with the car, such as the fuel door not opening when you were on empty, an inaccurate fuel gauge, the passenger A/C stopping working, the cabin light turning on and off by itself, and the gear knob getting stuck in drive and then not restarting after turning off the engine. I can see how these issues would be frustrating and inconvenient. Furthermore, the cost of oil changes and maintenance can add up quickly. Lastly, driving the car in snow can be a challenge. I purchased a used Jaguar XF six months ago and it initially looked and ran great. However, I soon began experiencing a range of electronic problems, including having to replace the fuel tank door twice due to electronic malfunctions. Additionally, the dome lights flicker on and off while driving and the power steering pump failed. The paint on the hood has also started to fade. While the car looks amazing and turns heads, it has unfortunately become a bit of a money pit. After researching, I discovered that I am not the only one experiencing these issues and I regret my purchase. I have had fewer problems with my Mercedes and Corvette. Unfortunately, due to low demand for these pricey and overrated cars, I have been unable to sell it.

This car runs well, but it requires regular maintenance. I have had to replace the water pump and sensor, and the gear shifter knob was stuck in park and drive, but I was able to replace it. It is possible that the fuel pump may need to be replaced in the future. Overall, this car is reliable as long as it is properly maintained.

The 2009 Jaguar XF has been experiencing transmission problems, as mentioned in a previous review. Unfortunately, I have also encountered the same issue with my own vehicle, where it gets stuck in park. Despite having it towed to the nearest Jaguar dealership, which was quite far from my town, the issue persisted even after they claimed to have fixed it. It is concerning that this serious malfunction has occurred in a car with less than 20,000 miles. Jaguar must address this issue immediately. I would advise against purchasing this car until the issue has been resolved.
