Ford had sold over 15 million Fiestas from 1976 to July 2011, making it one of the best-selling Ford nameplates behind the Escort and the F-Series. It has been manufactured in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, Taiwan, China, India, Thailand, and South Africa.

I researched any recalls and found "Part 573 Safety Recall Report 23V-905", which only covers two different models, the Focus and the Eco Sport, with precisely the same EcoBoost 1.0 Liter engine. I recently sent it to an independent service station to perform that which the recall describes, as a recall notice did not happen, but the service foreman stated it cannot be successfully repaired, as the oiling system was completely compromised, causing catastrophic damage to the valves, cylinders, turbo system, and vacuum pump.

- Summary: My clutch slave cylinder failed with approximately 64000 mi on the vehicle. This is a hydraulic system sharing the same reservoir as the brakes. The clutch pedal stuck to the floor leaving me unable to change gear while driving on the highway. Had to pull off on the side of the road and manually pull up the clutch with my hand. After that it functioned seemingly fine. I took the car to a local garage who diagnosed the issue and said it was fairly common on these cars. Part has not been replaced yet so it cannot be inspected but it is scheduled to go in to have the transmission dropped and slave cylinder replaced. There were no lamps messages or other warning signs prior to the incident on the highway aside from a slight softening of the clutch feel which occured during the months proceeding the failure. The clutch in this vehicle is notoriously soft to begin with so it did not feel much different. Thank you

- Summary: I started to notice a bit of resistance when pressing on the brakes. Minor initially, but then if you had to apply slightly more pressure the car would jerk/pull hard to the right. The harder and faster you had to press, the more intense the jerk. I took her in to the dealership and they noticed something with the reservoir into the hydraulics unit that feeds fluid into the brakes. The fluids are not circulating back into it and the caliper is not building enough pressure to close. They said it's the ABS Hydraulic Control Unit: D2BZ-2C405-E and the part is on national backorder with no ETA. The car is unsafe to drive without the part. She's a 2014 with only 28k miles and it seems strange to have this failure with such low mileage. I just have texts with the dealership right now. I spoke with Ford directly today and they guesstimated 5-6 months for the part. I ordered a used part and will take her to another mechanic to get it replaced in the interim since the dealership won't work with a used part. At that point I will have invoices. Thanks.

This car is a great choice for first-time buyers, drivers, or anyone looking for a reliable and affordable vehicle. I absolutely love this car! The dealership was amazing, the pricing was fantastic, and the car runs like a dream. I'm even getting 3mpg more than what the manufacturer claims (averaging about 40mpg). Although I've had a minor issue with the Bluetooth randomly disconnecting, it's an easy fix and doesn't bother me much. I highly recommend getting the cold weather package!

After trying out the Fiat 500 and Mini Cooper, I decided to look at American models and noticed that the 2014 Fiesta had a similar front as the 2013 Fusion. Although I had some trouble finding the right dealership, I finally found one and was immediately impressed by the stunning appearance of the car. After taking it for a test drive, I decided to purchase it on the spot. I opted for the Sedan SE in the candy blue color, which really stood out to me. So far, I am absolutely loving the car. It has great pickup, easy throws for the clutch, and gets fantastic gas mileage. Plus, it's a breeze to park in the city!

Although I am disappointed with my purchase, I have had a number of issues with the car over the past 4 years. Despite having only 37,000 miles on the clock, I have had to take it to the dealership's service center numerous times for major transmission and electrical problems, as well as a broken AC. I purchased an extended warranty, but unfortunately it did not cover everything as I had hoped. I have found the charges for repairs to be excessive, especially for issues that should not occur in a new car. While I have had a negative experience with this Ford, I acknowledge that other models may perform better. However, I have decided to switch to a Honda CRV, which has a reputation for reliability.

The car is impressively quiet, even on the highway. While the engine could use a bit more power, the stylish design of the car both inside and out is very appealing. The fit and finish could benefit from some fine tuning, and it would be a nice touch to have visor extenders when using the visors on the side. Additionally, it would be great to have better quality weather stripping all over, especially on the doors. A heavier black molding instead of soft rubber where the hood meets the windshield would also be a nice improvement, as these items feel like they may not hold up well with use.

The Powershift SE model has several issues that need to be addressed. The transmission causes the clutch to burn out unusually fast, and the metal under the seats rusts completely after leaving the dealership. Additionally, plastic components in the car are prone to breaking, and there is not a lot of space anywhere. After owning this car for one year, I decided to move on from it. It is worth noting that the dealer only offers replacements for the transmission, not a fix. However, with the right improvements, this car could be a great option for drivers.

When considering this car, it's important to keep in mind my personal experience. I bought my car brand new in July 2012 and while the test drive was great, unfortunately, everything else about this car has been a disappointment. In the first 2 years, I had it, 3 door locks broke and the transmission started to shudder. While Ford's service leaves a lot to be desired, I am hopeful that the recall with an emissions problem will be resolved soon.
