2015 Chevrolet Traverse problems
The Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size crossover SUV with three-row seating built by General Motors. It is built on the same platform as the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave, known as the Lambda platform for the first generation, and the C1XX for the second generation. It also shares the C1XX platform with the Cadillac XT6. It is the successor to the TrailBlazer body-on-frame SUV and the Uplander minivan.
The second-generation model debuted in showrooms in the summer of 2017. Starting with the 2019 model year, the Traverse was slotted above the new mid-size Chevrolet Blazer as part of Chevrolet's plans to expand its SUV lineup.
The Traverse name was originally used for a concept car at the 2003 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but that concept gave way when the Equinox launched for the 2005 model year.

Although there have been some issues with the car, such as the engine replacement at 145k, ac condenser and starter malfunction, water pump failure, and sifting problem along with a throttle body/MAF sensor malfunction, it is important to note that the mechanic suggested taking it to the dealership to reprogram the ECU. While it may require some additional attention, it is still a valuable investment. It is recommended to have a professional mechanic inspect the car before making a purchase decision.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my 2015 Traverse. Unfortunately, it caught on fire while parked, causing significant damage. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue with GM, I have not yet been made whole for my loss. I have been making payments for a car I no longer have and had to rent a car in the meantime. I am also concerned about the $5,000 deposit that has not been returned. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in helping me obtain another car. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

This is the third time I have experienced a dangerous issue with my car while driving on the highway. The traction control stops working without any warning, and I have had to pay over $700 to get it fixed twice before. It is concerning that there has been no recall for this issue. This vehicle is dangerous, and it is imperative that Chevy/GM recall it or face a serious lawsuit. As a female driver with a young child in the car, I have had to quickly restart the car, pull over, hit the OnStar button, and lock my doors to ensure my safety. This problem needs to be fixed immediately.

I had the lower end front wheel drive version. Although it had some brake problems and noises from the master cylinder area, I found it to be an interesting car to drive. The seats were not very comfortable for me as a big guy, but the car had some good features such as the AC, radio, and dash controls. However, I felt that the car was overpriced for what it offered. Overall, it was not my favorite car, but it had some redeeming qualities.
