The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

Everytime I drive on the highway and come to a roll the engine stalls. I have been stuck on the middle lane of the highway, in the middle of intersections, and many other places that are less than ideal. It is a crankshaft position sensor from what I can tell. When the car is under a load, the sensor is positioned at an extreme angle and when the rpms get low the rpms fluctuates and it stalls. The extreme angle is an optimization that cadillac made in an effort to get better fuel economy. It appears that the only way to fix the issue is to get a tune that prevents the sensor from reaching that extreme angle. The dealer pretends to know nothing, yet I find many other people who experience the issue so it would be in their database as a known issue. There are no warnings lights that comes on. The car will just shut down. The only way to prevent the car stalling is to drop to neutral and rev the engine while coming to a stop. Keep reving and when the light goes green drop it to Drive. Its unacceptable and a risk not only to myself but others on the road. I will file a defect petition with a lawyer so this is paid attention to . Please help.

After several attempts to start the vehicle, I was informed by a passersby that he had the same problem, that his fuel pump had went out. Well, guess what, it was the fuel pump. So, why is it that certified mechanics at a Cadillac Dearlership couldn't diagnose this problem. It's unfuckinbeliveable that any Dearlership, Pepboys or any other Auto Repair Shop wouldn't explore all options before saying " We can't find nothing wrong" totally inexcusable..

There wasn't any warning lamps, or other symptoms prior to the failure and they first appeared in the last incident on April 23, 2021.

These vehicles are equipped with non-desiccated passenger frontal inflators containing phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. These inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling.
- Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator with an alternate one, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on February 23, 2021. Second notification letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 20, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212328780.

- Summary: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2007-2011 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, Yukon XL, and 2009-2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Silverado 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 and Sierra 3500 vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in the states of Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), and the U.S. Virgin Islands or "Zone A." Additionally, GM is recalling certain 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado 1500, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra 1500, Yukon, Yukon XL vehicles originally sold, or ever registered, in the states of Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia or "Zone B." These vehicles are equipped with non-desiccated passenger frontal inflators containing phase-stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant. These inflators may explode due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to high absolute humidity, high temperatures, and high temperature cycling.
- Consequence: An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front passenger air bag inflator with an alternate one, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed on February 22, 2021. Second notification letters will be mailed once the remedy is available. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 1, 2021. A RECALL WAS IMPLEMENTED IN 2008 TO ADD A FUSE TO THE CONTROL CIRCUIT HARNESS TO ADDRESS THE POTENTIAL CONSEQUENCES OF A PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD (PCB) ELECTRICAL SHORT. HOWEVER, THERE HAVE BEEN NEW REPORTS OF THERMAL INCIDENTS ON HWFS MODULES AFTER THIS IMPROVEMENT WAS INSTALLED. THESE INCIDENTS RESULTED FROM A NEW FAILURE MODE ATTRIBUTED TO THE DEVICE'S THERMAL PROTECTION FEATURE. THE SIGNIFICANCE VARIES FROM MINOR DISTORTION TO CONSIDERABLE MELTING OF THE PLASTIC AROUND THE HWFS FLUID CHAMBER.
- Consequence: IT IS POSSIBLE FOR THE HEATED WASHER MODULE TO IGNITE AND A FIRE MAY OCCUR.
- Remedy: DEALERS WILL PERMANENTLY DISABLE AND REMOVE THE HEATED WASHER FLUID MODULE. AN UPDATED PAGE FOR THE OWNER MANUAL WILL BE PROVIDED AND INSERTED IN THE OWNER MANUAL TO DOCUMENT THAT THE FEATURE HAS BEEN PERMANENTLY DISABLED AND REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. - Consequence: IF A CUSTOMER REPLACES A WHEEL AND ONLY RELIES ON THE RIM SIZE DESIGNATION THAT IS INDICATED ON THE LABEL, A WHEEL THAT IS OF A DIFFERENT RIM CONTOUR DESIGNATION MAY BE INSTALLED. IT MAY BE DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE TO MOUNT THE TIRE ON A WHEEL WITH THE WRONG CONTOUR. IF THE TIRE IS MOUNTED ON THE WHEEL WITH THE WRONG CONTOUR, THE WHEEL AND TIRE MAY NOT PERFORM AS INTENDED, WHICH COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.
- Remedy: A LABEL THAT WILL CORRECT THE LABEL ORIGINALLY INSTALLED WILL BE MAILED TO CONSUMERS ALONG WITH INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE THE OPTION FOR DEALERS TO INSTALL THE LABEL. THE RECALL BEGAON ON NOVEMBER 7, 2006. I absolutely adore my Cadillac Escalade ext vehicle that I have owned since 2007. Everything about this vehicle is truly impressive! I have not experienced a single issue with this perfect gem. I can't help but smile every time I get in it. As a summer driver, I avoid snowy or icy conditions. With only 95800 kilometers, I hope to be driving it for another 15 years. I have no desire to get a different vehicle! I love this one that much.

This is my fourth EXT and by far the best. It rides like a luxury car not a truck. After 20,000 miles it still rides like I just purchased it. Plaudits to Cadillac on this one.

This is my second EXT and I think this truck looks and rides great. Although I kinda liked the 'body armor' that the '05 had, I'll get used to it. When it comes to mileage, you don't buy a truck like this for economy. However, I do agree that Cadillac should stop cutting corners and go all out. We would still buy it even if it cost more.

This truck is so much fun! It accelerates like most cars, so it doesn't feel like you're driving a full-size truck. Plus, the remote start and air-conditioned seats make summertime enjoyable in this black-on-black beauty.

I recently upgraded from my '04 EXT to an '07 model. The new engine is impressively powerful and the fit and finish are much improved. However, I have noticed some issues with the 6-speed transmission, as it tends to shift frequently, and there is a noticeable vibration when in overdrive. Thankfully, the dealership I purchased from has an excellent service department, and they are currently investigating the issue. Despite these minor setbacks, I am confident that my new vehicle will serve me well for years to come.
