2005 Cadillac Escalade ext problems
The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV manufactured by General Motors and marketed by their luxury division Cadillac. It was the luxury brand's first major entry into the SUV market. The Escalade was introduced for the 1999 model year in response to an influx of new luxury SUVs in the late 1990s such as the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Range Rover, Lexus LX, and (especially) Ford's 1998 debut of the Lincoln Navigator. The Escalade project went into production only ten months after it was approved. The Escalade is built in Arlington, Texas. The term "escalade" refers to a siege warfare tactic of scaling defensive walls or ramparts with the aid of ladders or siege towers. More generally, it is a French word which is the noun-equivalent form of the French verb escalader, which means "to climb or scale".
The Escalade is currently sold in North America and select international markets (Europe and Asia) where Cadillac has official sales channels. The Escalade ESV (Escalade Stretch Vehicle) is sold in North America, Russia, and the Middle East, but is only available by special order in some international markets. The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

I'm on my second EXT now. I had a 2002 model before and recently took advantage of the 0% financing to upgrade to a newer one. These vehicles are fantastic, especially for those of us who need a luxurious people hauler for work (sales) and a utility vehicle for family and leisure activities like camping and boating. I considered the Hummer H2 SUT, but the EXT beats it hands-down in terms of upscale looks and gas mileage. Cadillac really got it right!

This truck is fun to drive, works hard when you need it, and looks great when you need to go out on the town.
-
This is my fourth Cadillac but my first Escalade. I must say, I am truly spoiled now. Nothing else in its class will ever match it. I was considering buying an H2, but after driving each, I realized that Arnold can have his Hummer. I'll stick with my Cadillac, thank you.

Hello! I recently switched from a BMW525 07 to a USA truck for work reasons, while still wanting to maintain a level of luxury. I'm happy to report that this truck has met all of my needs and expectations so far, with only a little over 60k miles on it. While gas mileage is a bit of an issue, I knew that going in with a powerful 6.0 v8 engine. I wanted to be able to move my boat, load boxes in the trunk, take my bikes, and still feel like I was driving my 525i 07, and this truck has delivered on that. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my decision!

Fun ride! It's great to take on vacation, and there's lots of storage in the saddles. Plus, it's cheap to do routine service. Although, it can be tough to stomach the price of a fill-up with gas prices this high. And let's not forget about the unbelievable handling in deep snow!
