2020 Cadillac Escalade esv problems
The Cadillac Escalade is a full-size luxury SUV manufactured by General Motors and marketed by their luxury division Cadillac. It was the luxury brand's first major entry into the SUV market. The Escalade was introduced for the 1999 model year in response to an influx of new luxury SUVs in the late 1990s such as the Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Range Rover, Lexus LX, and (especially) Ford's 1998 debut of the Lincoln Navigator. The Escalade project went into production only ten months after it was approved. The Escalade is built in Arlington, Texas. The term "escalade" refers to a siege warfare tactic of scaling defensive walls or ramparts with the aid of ladders or siege towers. More generally, it is a French word which is the noun-equivalent form of the French verb escalader, which means "to climb or scale".
The Escalade is currently sold in North America and select international markets (Europe and Asia) where Cadillac has official sales channels. The Escalade ESV (Escalade Stretch Vehicle) is sold in North America, Russia, and the Middle East, but is only available by special order in some international markets. The right-hand-drive Escalade and Escalade ESV are available through third-party conversion specialists without official agreement with Cadillac in Australian, Oceanic, and Japanese markets.
On August 8, 2023, GM unveiled the Escalade IQ, an all-electric version of the Escalade, and the third model in Cadillac's EV line, after the Celestiq, and Lyriq. It is expected to go on sale in late 2024 for the 2025 model year, with a starting price of $130,000.

This is my 5th Escalade and it's hands down my favorite SUV. I love everything about it. If they could just figure out a way for me to control the AC/Heat, I would buy one every 3 years without fail.

I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying your Escalade! It sounds like it's the perfect fit for your family of six and all of your gear. While it may not be the most thrilling ride, it certainly has more than enough power and stability to get you where you need to go. The platinum trim sounds like it's top-notch and provides a peaceful driving experience. I appreciate your honesty about the ride over rough pavement, but it's great to know that a set of Michelin tires can improve the ride quality. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Escalade!

We have owned several SUVs in the past, including the Infinity QX 80 and the Mercedes GL, but they were too small for our family. However, the 2019 Escalade ESV is our 4th and we are extremely satisfied with it. Despite the critics, we find it to be an extremely smooth ride and very comfortable for our family of 6 and all our luggage. We highly recommend the Platinum version as it is worth the money. We are also impressed with its fuel efficiency, getting 21-23 mpg on the highway even when fully loaded. It handles very well and is easy to park. Additionally, it looks and feels like a true luxury car. We believe that no other luxury SUV can match the Escalade's level of luxury and comfort!

You won't find a better option at this size. The car has all electric features and every comfort you can imagine for both the driver and passengers.

I recently upgraded to an 18 Escalade ESV Platinum in beautiful crystal white. I had previously driven a Yukon, and while the Lexus and BMW were nice, the Escalade blew them out of the water. It's a very quiet and smooth ride for a big truck, with dependable transmission shifts and a strong V8 engine. In my opinion, anyone who says an Escalade is just a Suburban with a badge has clearly never driven one. The Escalade is far superior to the Suburban or Yukon I've had in the past.

Our 2016 Escalade has been in the shop around 30 times in two years due to a vibration issue with the 8-speed transmission. Despite the repair shop claiming that the vibration is common in GM's 2016 8-speed transmission products, we found several technical bulletins online that suggest otherwise. While GM customer service has extended our warranty, we believe that more can be done to address this issue. We have attempted to trade in our car for a newer model and receive reimbursement for the multiple repairs we have made, but the Service Manager for the Houston area (Jose) has informed Cadillac customer service that we do not have a problem. We remain confident that a solution can be found to address this issue.

That's a nice smooth car! However, it seems like the interior space and cargo capacity could have been better thought out. Have you considered a Toyota minivan? They are known for their spacious interiors and cargo capacity.
