2002 Nissan Pathfinder problems

nissan logo

The Nissan Pathfinder is a range of sport utility vehicles manufactured by Nissan since 1986. Until the third-generation model, the Pathfinder is based on Nissan's compact pickup truck platform which it shares with the Navara/Frontier. The front end of the D21 (first generation) and R51 (third generation) Pathfinder is notably identical with the Navara/Frontier up until the B-pillars.

The Pathfinder was marketed as the Nissan Terrano (Japanese: 日産・テラノ, Hepburn: Nissan Terano) outside North America. Beginning in 2004, the R51 series was marketed internationally as the Pathfinder.

In 2012, the R52 series Pathfinder was released as a three-row crossover SUV based on the unibody Nissan D platform, moving away from the body-on-frame chassis format. The role of a mid-size body-on-frame SUV in Nissan's global lineup was passed to the Terra/X-Terra, which was released in 2018 and based on the D23 series Navara.

Common 2002 Nissan Pathfinder problems

Based on complaints from owners of the 2002 Nissan Pathfinder, several common problems have been identified:

  • Timing Belt: The timing belt in the 2002 Nissan Pathfinder is a maintenance item that should be replaced every 100,000 miles. It connects the crankshaft sprocket to the upper camshaft sprockets, ensuring proper synchronization of the valves with the crank. Failure to replace the timing belt can lead to engine issues and potential damage .
  • Distributor Problems: The distributor in some 2002 Pathfinder models, particularly those with the 3.3-liter engine, can cause starting issues and misfires. Symptoms of a faulty distributor include a crank-no-start condition and rough engine performance. Replacing the distributor or its components may be necessary to resolve these issues .
  • VVT Solenoid: Some models of the 2002 Pathfinder are equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoids. Issues with these solenoids can arise if oil changes are neglected or oil levels drop below the required amount. Regular maintenance and oil changes are crucial to prevent VVT solenoid problems and maintain engine performance .
  • Suspension Components: Complaints have been made about the rear suspension components, particularly the trailing arms' bushings. Wear and tear on these components can lead to handling issues, noise, and discomfort while driving. Replacing worn bushings or addressing suspension problems promptly can help maintain the vehicle's performance and comfort levels .

These common problems highlight the importance of regular maintenance and prompt attention to any issues that arise with the 2002 Nissan Pathfinder to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.

STEERING,SUSPENSION,STRUCTURE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2023-10-10
  • VIN: JN8DR09Y12W
  • Components: STEERING,SUSPENSION,STRUCTURE
  • Summary: This relates to Campaign Number 11V244000 We are the original and only owners of the vehicle I originally brought the vehicle in for the recall and they simply sprayed some undercoating in the wheel wells. Less than a month later both strut towers separated from the body of the vehicle while my wife was driving home, she lost steering and could have had a serious or fatal accident. I towed to the dealer and they installed braces in both strut towers. I have always taken exceptional care of my vehicles, which includes multiple washes during winter months and extensive undercarriage washing every spring. This past Oct when I took the vehicle in for mandatory state inspection I was informed that the vehicle would not pass inspection next year. They told me this once before in relation to extensive rust to the passenger side rear frame next to the muffler. I was able to cut out the rust and weld a thicker plate of steel in there to repair the frame. I just changed my oil and looked for what the mechanic was referring too. This time the rust is between the braces they installed for the struts and the front of the wheel well. The mechanic saw the rust coming through the paint and poked at it with a screw driver, the screw driver went right though the body leaving significant holes in the structure that supports the struts. When the weather breaks I will further inspect to determine if there is enough good metal left for me to attempt a repair. I am doubtful a repair will be possible as the metal used to construct this vehicle is very poor quality. Despite my constant care, washing, rust conversion treatments, painting with rust blocking paint and using undercoating, every inch on the underside of the vehicle is rusted. Both rear quarters rotted behind the wheel flares and down into where the rear doors close and contact the rear quarters. Now due to Nissan's decision to use substandard metal I am forced to buy a new vehicle which is currently financially impossible

FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2023-08-20
  • VIN: JN8DR09Y12W
  • Components: FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
  • Summary: My complaint relates to Campaign Number 07V435000 We are the original and only owner of this vehicle. While driving the vehicle I started to notice a fuel smell, after several attempts to locate the source, one day I added fuel, I noticed a small puddle in my driveway the following morning. I removed the wheel and the fender well cover to find the fuel filler neck had rotted through and fuel had wet both the tire and the brakes. The above campaign number has a recall the ends in the prior manufacturing year even though the part in question was used by the manufacturer through the 2004 model year. I repaired the vehicle and am now dealing with a constant check engine light due to a manufacturing defect that creates a large vacuum leak at the fuel cap. The part arrived with a notice that the leak is common and recommends replacement of the fuel cap. I replaced the cap and am having the same problem. I have retained the defective part should you wish to inspect it. I think the recall should be expanded to the entirety of the use of the defective part by the manufacturer, model year 2004. It would also be nice if the replacement part manufacturer was fined for selling a product they know to have defective manufacturing. Leak discovered 20 August 2023 at 153,789 miles Replacement part# FN748 from Spectra Premium ordered through Amazon

SUSPENSION PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2019-09-16
  • VIN: JN8DR09Y12W
  • Components: SUSPENSION
  • Summary: I WAS DRIVING MY 2002 PATHFINDER TO WORK ON MONDAY OF THIS WEEK WHEN I STARTED TO FEEL A SLIGHT SHAKING IN MY STEERING WHEEL AND CHATTER IN MY BRAKE PEDAL WHILE DRIVING AT 55MPH ON THE HIGHWAY. AFTER I GOT OFF THE HIGHWAY I COULD BARELY MAKE A RIGHT TURN AS THE STEERING WHEEL WAS VERY STIFF. I CHECKED MY FRONT END AND WHAT I FOUND WAS FRIGHTENING. THE DRIVERS SIDE STRUT TOWER HAD TORN FROM THE FRAME AND BODY AND WAS NOW PUSHING AGAINST BOTH THE STEERING SHAFT AND MASTER CYLINDER WHICH WAS BENT UP AT AN ANGLE. MY MASTER BRAKE CYLINDER IS NOW SUPPORTING THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL! THANK GOD THE STRUT DID NOT SNAP THE STEERING SHAFT OR MASTER CYLINDER WHILE AT HIGHWAY SPEED. I MIGHT BE IN A HOSPITAL BED OR DEAD. I HAD THE CAR TOWED TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP WHO TOLD ME THAT IT RECEIVED A LEVEL 1 REPAIR BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER (I AM THE SECOND OWNER) IN 2011 AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE EXCEPT TO CALL CORPORATE. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND THAT THE RECALL HAS TWO LEVELS: 1 AND 2. LEVEL 1 IS A SIMPLE INSPECTION, CLEANING AND COATING. LEVEL 2 REQUIRES A BOLTED IN METAL BRACE BE INSTALLED TO REINFORCE THE STRUT TOWER. NISSAN CORPORATE TOLD ME THE LEVEL 1 REPAIR WAS ALREADY COMPLETED AND NOTHING FURTHER COULD BE DONE EVEN THOUGH THE REPAIR DID NOTHING TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM AND NOW I AM IN NEED OF A LEVEL 2 REPAIR. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT NISSAN CAN WALK AWAY FROM THIS AFTER THEIR LEVEL 1 FIX FAILS TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM. THE LEVEL 1 REPAIR IS A TICKING TIME BOMB AS THE SO CALLED "FIX" DOES NOTHING TO STOP THE TOWER FROM FAILING. I HONESTLY FEEL THAT NISSAN HAS NOT DONE ENOUGH TO REMEDY THE ISSUE AND THERE COULD STILL BE HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS OF PATHFINDERS WITH BOGUS LEVEL 1 REPAIRS ON OUR ROADS RIGHT THIS MINUTE. NISSAN SHOULD PROVIDE THE LEVEL 2 RECALL EVEN IF LEVEL 1 HAS ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED.

  • VIN: JN8DR09X92W
  • Components: VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL
  • Summary: I WAS DRIVING ON A HIGHWAY WHEN I REALIZED MY CAR WAS ACCELERATING QUICKLY WITHOUT MY FOOT ON THE GAS PEDAL. I PUT MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE TO SLOW IT DOWN TO 65. AT THE SAME TIME I MOVED THE RUG BACK IN CASE IT WAS CAUGHT, BUT THAT WAS NOT THE PROBLEM AND I ALSO TAPPED THE GAS PEDAL TO SEE IF IT WAS STUCK AND IT WAS NOT. I CONTINUED TO DRIVE FOR 15 MILES WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL I EXITED THE HIGHWAY AND WAS ABLE TO ENTER A PARKING LOT WHERE I DEPRESSED THE BRAKE AS HARD AS I COULD. THE CAR WAS SHAKING AND THE ENGINE WAS REVVING AND THE CAR WAS TRYING TO PUSH FORWARD. I WAS AFRAID PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL WOULD NOT WORK SO I THREW IT IN TO PARK AND THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO REV AS THE CAR JERKED TO A STOP. I PUT ON THE EMERGENCY BRAKE AND TURNED IT OFF. AS I EXITED THE CAR, I COULD SMELL BURNING AND MOVED AWAY FROM THE CAR. I WAS SHAKING UNCONTROLLABLY AND BROKE DOWN AFTER THAT. I CALLED THE NISSAN DEALER THAT SERVICES MY CAR TO SAY WHAT HAPPENED AND IT WOULD BE TOWED THERE. I CALLED MY INSURANCE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO TOW THE CAR. THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER TURNED THE CAR ON TO PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND IT IMMEDIATELY BEGAN REVVING UP AGAIN SO HE TURNED IT OFF AND POPPED THE HOOD AND SHOWED ME WHERE THE THROTTLE WAS AND THE WIRES GOING TO IT AND HE FIDDLED WITH THOSE AND STARTED THE CAR AGAIN AND HE PUT IT IN NEUTRAL AND TOWED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP.

STEERING,SUSPENSION,STRUCTURE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2017-07-25
  • VIN: JN8DR09Y82W
  • Components: STEERING,SUSPENSION,STRUCTURE
  • Summary: STRUT TOWER RUST DAMAGE, MY PATHFINDER STARTED HAVING THAT NOISE COMING FROM THE STEERING COLUMN DURING MOTION. AFTER A QUICK INSPECTION AT THE DEALERSHIP WE REALIZED THERE WAS A BIG GAP UNDER THE STRUT TOWERS IN BOTH SIDES, AND THAT THERE WAS ALREADY A RECALL, BUT THE RECALL DOES NOT INCLUDES TO REPLACE THE STRUT COLUMN, JUST A CHEAP, GLUED-BOLTED STRIP OF METAL THEY CALL A BRACKET THAT DOES NOT EVEN COVERS THE GAP. THE "FIX" USED IN RECALL NHSTA ID: 11V-244 IS TOTALLY INADECUATE FOR VEHICLES IN WHICH CORROSION HAS TAKE ALL THE BASE OF THE STRUT TOWER AND THE TOWER IS ALREADY TOUCHING THE STEERING COLUMN. TO ELABORATE IMAGINE A GAP 3 INCHES HIGH AND 12 INCHES LONG; TWO OF THE 3 INCHES IN HEIGH WERE CREATED BY MATERIAL THAT RUSTED AND FELL APART AN ONLY ONE INCH IF BENT DISPLACEMENT. IF AS THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE RECALL INDICATE, THE STRUT TOWER MUST BE BENT BACK TO ORIGINAL POSITION, THE GAP WILL BE REDUCED ONLY THE ONE INCH THAT CORRESPOND TO DISPLACEMENT LEAVIN A 12 BY 2 INCHES GAP DUE TO CORROSION AND IT IS HERE, WHERE THE RECALL SOLUTION INDICATES THAT A TRIP OF STEEL SHOULD BE BOLTED/GLUED TO. THE 4-5 INCH STRIP(REPAIR BRACKET) WILL BE LAY IN CROSS POSITION PERPENDICULAR TO THE RUSTED GAP, LEAVING ABOUT 3 INCHES OF THE RUSTED GAP EXPOSED TO EACH SIDE. JUST LIKE A BAND AID STICK ACROSS A BIG WOUND. THIS IS NOT A LONG TERM FIX, THE BRACKET WILL FAIL AS WELL OR WILL DETACH FROM THE RUSTED SURFACES WHERE IT WAS INSTALLED.

ENGINE PROBLEM

  • Date Of Incident: 2017-06-19
  • VIN: JN8DR09X62W
  • Components: ENGINE
  • Summary: NISSAN POWER CONTROL VALVE LOOSE FASTENERS: MY CONCERN RESONATES WITH CONSUMER SAFETY THAT INVOLVES GROSS ENGINE FAILURE DURING OPERATIONS DUE TO LOOSENING INTERNAL FASTENERS/COMPONENTS. WHILE DRIVING ON A CITY STREET, I NOTICED AN ABRUPT AND UNUSUAL MECHANICAL GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM MY VEHICLE (V6 PATHFINDER). EVENTUALLY THE CAR WOULD NOT START. AFTER HAVING IT TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND SERVICE, THE TECHNICIAN NOTICED THAT AN INTERNAL POWER CONTROL VALVE WAS MISSING FROM THE INTAKE AFTER HE HAD REMOVED THE VALVE COVER DURING HIS TROUBLESHOOTING. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE NEW (SOLE OWNER) AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY WORK/MAINTENANCE PERFORMED THAT REQUIRED THE VALVE COVER TO BE REMOVED. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ON MY OWN, I FOUND MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT NISSAN POWER CONTROL VALVE SCREWS LOOSENING, FALLING WITHIN THE ENGINE AND CAUSING SEVERE ENGINE FAILURE WHILE DRIVING AND MORE THAN $2K IN REPAIRS TO THE CONSUMER. I ALSO NOTED THAT NISSAN (WEST COAST, CALIFORNIA) RECENTLY RECALLED VARIOUS MODELS/MULTI-YEARS, INCLUDING THE 2002 PATHFINDER, ACKNOWLEDGING THE PROBLEM WITH LOOSENING FASTENERS WITHIN THE RESPECTIVE ENGINES; HOWEVER, NO RECALL WAS ENACTED FOR THE SAME MODELS ON THE EAST COAST USA. ALTHOUGH MY VEHICLE WAS EVENTUALLY DIAGNOSED WITH IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE AND ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE (ENGINE) PROBLEMS, THE LOCATION (WITHIN MY ENGINE) OF THE MISSING POWER CONTROL VALVE AND IT'S FASTENERS IS NOT KNOWN AND I AM NOT CONVINCED THAT THIS FOREIGN MATERIAL (LOOSE SCREWS/VALVE) WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE ROOT CAUSE OF THESE DIAGNOSED FAILURES. PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE IN THAT MY VEHICLE HAS OVER 200K MILES; HOWEVER, THERE ARE MULTIPLE POWER CONTROL VALVES WITHIN MY (THESE) VEHICLES THAT MAY BE SUBJECT TO FAILURE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IF OTHER CONSUMERS MAY BE ONE ENGINE FAILURE AWAY FROM A POTENTIAL CATASTROPHIC RESULT.

  • Summary: FRONT STRUT HOUSING CORROSION RECALL. MY MECHANIC ADVISED ME TODAY THAT THE INNER SHOCK SUPPORTS ON MY VEHICLE WERE TERRIBLY ROTTED/CORRODED. I WENT ONLINT TO RESEARCH IT AND FOUND THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A RECALL OF MY VEHICLE. HOWEVER, I WAS NEVER CONTACTED. THIS IS VERY DISTURBING. I PLAN TO CALL NISSAN TO DISCUSS BUT WRITING YOU TO SEE IF YOU HAVE MORE INFORMATION ON A POTENTIAL RECALL. I HAVE LIVED AT THE SAME ADDRESS AS WHEN I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND THE SAME NUMBER BUT NO RECALL NOTICE WAS EVER SENT TO ME. MY MECHANIC SAID THERE IS A SAFETY ISSUE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND TO ADDRESS IT ASAP.

Upon deployment of the passenger side frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to rupture.
  • Consequence: In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger's frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants potentially resulting in serious injury or death.
  • Remedy: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger air bag inflator, free of charge. The recall began on June 15, 2015. Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261. Note: On December 18, 2015 Nissan informed NHTSA of an amendment of this recall to remove 2004-2005 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 vehicles.

  • Manufacturer: NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
  • Components: STEERING:COLUMN
  • Summary: NISSAN IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1996-2004 PATHFINDER AND MODEL YEAR 1997-2003 INFINITI QX4 VEHICLES ORIGINALLY SOLD, OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, IOWA, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, MASSACHUSETTS, MAINE, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, WASHINGTON D.C., WEST VIRGINIA AND WISCONSIN. IN AREAS OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH HEAVY CONCENTRATIONS OF ROAD SALT ARE USED, A MIXTURE OF SNOW/WATER AND SALT MAY ENTER AN ASSEMBLY LOCATION HOLE IN THE UPPER STRUT HOUSING, CAUSING WATER TO COLLECT AT THE MATING SURFACE OF THE STRUT HOUSING PANEL AND THE INNER HOOD LEDGE ASSEMBLY. OVER TIME, THIS SNOW/WATER AND SALT INTRUSION MAY RESULT IN CORROSION OF THE STRUT TOWER HOUSING IN SOME SUBJECT VEHICLES.
  • Consequence: THE STRUT HOUSING MAY CRACK AND PULL AWAY FROM THE INNER HOOD LEDGE ASSEMBLY. THIS MAY LEAD TO GRINDING NOISES, INCREASED STEERING EFFORT, AND POSSIBLY THE STEERING COLUMN TO BREAK, RESULTING IN THE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
  • Remedy: NISSAN WILL INSPECT THE STRUT HOUSING AND REPAIR THE VEHICLES AS NECESSARY, FREE OF CHARGE. AN INTERIM NOTIFICATION LETTER WAS SENT OUT IN MAY 2011. THE SECOND NOTICE WAS MAILED ON JULY 25, 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261.
2010-07-06
  • Manufacturer: NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC.
  • Components: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL
  • Summary: NISSAN IS RECALLING FORTY-SIX CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2002 PATHFINDER AND INFINITI QX4 VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 24, 2001 THROUGH AUGUST 28, 2001. THE AIR BAG INFLATOR CONTAINS PROPELLANT WAFERS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO PROPERLY DEPLOY THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG. DUE TO IMPROPER PROPELLANT WAFER INSTALLATION DURING THE AIR BAG INFLATOR ASSEMBLY PROCESS, SOME AIR BAG INFLATORS MAY BE MISSING ONE OF THE WAFERS. AS A RESULT, THE REMAINING WAFERS IN THE INFLATOR USED FOR THE DEPLOYMENT OF THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG MAY, OVER TIME, BREAK UP INTO POWDER DUE TO NORMAL VIBRATION EXPERIENCED WHILE DRIVING. THIS CAUSES THE COMBUSTION RATE OF THE PROPELLANT TO INCREASE INSIDE THE INFLATOR, WHICH CAN LEAD TO INTERNAL PRESSURE RISING SUDDENLY DURING AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT.
  • Consequence: THE INFLATOR HOUSING MAY RUPTURE AND PIECES OF THE INFLATOR COULD STRIKE AND INJURE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS.
  • Remedy: NISSAN WILL NOTIFY THE OWNERS OF THE FORTY-SIX AFFECTED VEHICLES. DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULE ASSEMBLY WITH A NEW ONE FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 19, 2010. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NISSAN AT 1-800-647-7261 AND INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6200.

Negative 2002 Nissan Pathfinder car reviews

  1. Pierre Weissnat 2024-10-20

This car has been a disappointment. Despite having taken it in for repairs 15 times in the past 3 months, the transmission still performs poorly. Additionally, the car's fuel efficiency is subpar. As a Nissan product, I expected better quality.

  2. Sebastian Bashirian 2024-08-13

The recommendation made by Edmunds for this SUV is unacceptable. The tires on my vehicle went bad, causing a loud roaring sound, which I believe is due to a suspension issue. Unfortunately, the service department has not been helpful in resolving this issue. Additionally, the SUV has poor load-carrying capacity and tends to squat in the rear. The engine noise is also quite loud and seems to be coming through the firewall. In hindsight, I should have chosen a Toyota instead.

  3. Johathan Strosin 2024-07-09

I bought this SUV in June 2004 for half of its original price, with 20K miles on it. It came fully loaded with every option except for navigation. Overall, I have been very pleased with its performance and reliability. However, like most SUVs, the gas mileage is not great. The styling is fantastic, and the fit and finish have held up nicely. The back seat is not the most spacious, and entry can be a bit of a challenge. I did notice some scratches on the fender flares from an automatic car wash. The only issues I have had with it are that the driver's power seat broke around 40K miles, and they wanted $600 to repair it. Additionally, I had to replace 2 oxygen sensors and the tailpipe joint cracked, but I was able to get it fixed at Meineke for only $25. The original Bridgestone tires wore out quickly, so I replaced them with Pirelli Scorpions.

  4. Herbert Hauck 2024-04-24

Nissan has the potential to build a quality vehicle with updated styling, but sometimes falls short in creativity. On the other hand, Honda has been very successful in producing two best-in-class vehicles, including the Acura TL and MDX. In fact, they outscored the BMW 330i sedan and the X5 3.0i SUV respectively in last year's comparison test.

  5. Kendall Little 2024-04-08

The SUV looks good on the outside, but unfortunately the inside feels a bit cheap. Additionally, after 4 years, I had to get the muffler or resonator fixed which cost me $850, which was quite frustrating. The mileage is also not great, at only 16 mpg in the city and 17.5 on the highway. Overall, I don't think I would purchase this vehicle again.

Positive 2002 Nissan Pathfinder car reviews

  1. Arturo Stoltenberg 2025-01-04

What a great car story! It's amazing that you inherited this car from your parents and it's still going strong after all these years. I can tell that you have a real attachment to this car and it's understandable why you're having trouble finding a suitable upgrade. I completely understand your concerns about the newer pathfinders and their third row seats. It's great that your car has been so reliable and has been able to accommodate all of your needs, especially during your college years. Although you mentioned that you didn't maintain it as well as you could have, it's still impressive that it has lasted this long. I hope you're able to find a solution for your check engine light soon. Keep on driving that amazing car!

  2. Amani Blanda 2024-11-08

Rides great! With 240 horsepower, it really does the job. I highly recommend paying up for the sunroof and leather packages. In my opinion, it's the best midsize SUV on the road.

  3. Tommie Boehm 2024-09-05

Hi there! I'm so glad to hear that you're happy with your purchase! It sounds like you got a great deal on your SUV, paying only 24800 with the rebate and getting the added bonus of .9% financing for 3 years. Congratulations!

  4. Jordy Rowe 2024-08-17

I'm so glad I bought The Pathfinder after reading the great reviews on here! It drives really well, runs quietly, and I haven't had any major problems with it yet. I bought mine with 134,000 miles on it, but they're mostly highway miles. I'm currently getting around 15-16 MPG, but I'm hoping to improve that to around 20. I'm thinking of adding a K&N cold air intake soon. Changing the oil can be a bit of a hassle though, since the oil filter is located under the semi-skid plate.

  5. Michael Fisher 2024-08-09

It sounds like you're really enjoying your vehicle! The solid feel, power, and quietness all seem like great features. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
