I'm so glad you're interested in my little convertible! I bought it used back in '97 with about 45K miles on it. Unfortunately, the dealer wasn't very forthcoming about the fact that the car had been in a wreck. Despite that, I'm only the second owner, and for the first three years, the vehicle was completely trouble-free. While the body construction is a bit flimsy and dents easily, the handling, pick-up, comfort, and maintenance are all worth overlooking this minor flaw. And let's not forget the gas mileage - it gets over 30 mpg in the city and who knows what on the highway! With regular oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance, this car has been a great investment. I've been more than pleasantly surprised by how well it's held up over the years!

I bought the Capri on a whim while in AZ and decided to sell it before leaving the state. Since then, I've been on the East coast for 6 months and have been hesitant to buy a new car. My friends and I couldn't figure out why. But this morning, I was browsing cars and stumbled upon an exact duplicate of my Capri. I'm thrilled to say that I'm walking out the door with cash in hand. Need I say more?

I recently bought this car used from a dealer in TN and paid $4300 in cash. Although I had never heard of this model before, it was in good shape and looked like a lot of fun. The day after I bought it, I took it out on a 150-mile trip along TN/KY backroads. I didn't know what to expect, but so far it has performed great and has been really enjoyable. I even took it out in the rain recently and it worked perfectly fine! Overall, I'm really liking this car!

I love my Capri! I've had very few problems with it, and the only major fix was the distributor - but that's to be expected with 134,000 miles on the clock! It's great to put the top down and go, and I couldn't have asked for a better first car. It's not too fast, but not too slow either!

Hi there! I wanted to share my experience with my car. I purchased it in May of 2010 for $800 with only 78k miles and it was in good shape inside and out. The engine was clean as can be! Although the top was bad, I was able to find a replacement on eBay for a really cheap price, so now it looks great. I've driven over 23k miles in less than a year and the only issues I've had were having to replace the fuel pump (which was my fault) and a wheel bearing. Despite only having 100hp, the transmission is geared out to have decent pick up. It runs really smoothly at 70mph on I95 and with the top down, you can barely tell you're in a convertible. I purchased this car on 5/01 with 80k miles on it. Unfortunately, I have had to spend $700 on repairs every 4 months since then. The car has been a headache since day one. Here is a list of parts that I have had to replace: the entire exhaust up to the catalytic converter, 2 brake rotors, the alternator and belts, water pump, radiator, driver side window regulator, thermostat, and the sensor. Just yesterday, the automatic transmission stopped functioning. I have decided to junk the car and look for a more reliable one, or at least one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to fix. It seems like every part has to be special ordered or custom installed.
