- Summary: Tire size 225/45 R 14 Purchased four tires April 22, 2019 and had to replace one tire on August 5, 2021 due to not keeping air, which I wasn't told why. Then I was having the same problem with another tire and this time was shown what the tire looked like, which is splitting, separating on the inside wall. On October 23, 2022 ordered a new tire and had them check the remaining two tires and they were both splitting, separating on the inside wall as well, which I had to order two more tires October 27, 2022 and I still have plenty of tread left.

THESE HEADLAMPS ASSEMBLY ARE COMPLETELY SEALED, WHICH MEANS THAT IF THE LED FAILS THE WHOLE ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED ( ~$1,100 ). MY CAR IS ABOUT TO GET THE SECOND HEADLAMP REPLACED , THIS TIME NOT UNDER WARRANTY.

HOWEVER LEXUS REFUS TO HELP IN ANY WAY AND I DEED THIS TO BE UNFAIR CONSIDERING THIS CAR HAS SUCH FAULTS I REPLACED THE TYRES MY SELF HOWEVER THEY ARE NOT FIXIN THE ISSUES CAUSING THE TYRES TO GO BAD OR ISSUES MENTIONED. The car makes decent power, but the turbo lag was disappointing. Unlike other luxury brands in its class, this car is completely quiet for being a sporty car. However, after installing a cold air intake, it's like the turbo came to life. When accelerating hard, you can hear the turbo whistle with every shift. I also installed a downpipe to the turbo, and now it feels like a 350. I love this car! I also added stiffer springs, which let me really push this car.

The futures on this vehicle are amazing! The blind spot monitoring system is very helpful, especially on the highway! It's difficult to find an excellent backup camera, but the one on this vehicle is perfect! The red interior on it completes the sporty yet sophisticated look.

The turbo 4 is an improvement on the 2.5 V6 in the IS250 from 2015, but it only has marginally better fuel economy than the 3.5 V6 in the previous and current IS350. It has less torque and horsepower, slower acceleration, and (if it matters to you) doesn't sound nearly as nice as the V6 does. However, it's still a good car, and you should test drive both the IS250 and IS350 to see which one suits you best. By doing so, you can make an informed decision based on your preferences and budget.

I purchased this car brand new in January 2017 and paid for maintenance until 50,000 miles, hoping it would last me a long time without any breakdowns. However, I recently discovered that if you buy the F Sport feature model, the front brakes need to be changed with less than 20,000 miles on the car. I was shocked and frustrated, but the maintenance agent explained that this is the performance capacity of this type of car. The Lexus dealer quoted me around $900 to replace the brakes. While I am disappointed, I understand that this is a common issue with this model. I may consider other options in the future, but I still appreciate the luxury and comfort that Lexus provides.

When accelerating in the IS200t, there may be a slight delay that you may not experience with other brands. This can make pulling out into traffic a bit less confidence-inspiring than you might expect. Additionally, during my test drive, I noticed a few minor cosmetic issues with the car, such as a loose rubber seal on the door and some hanging plastic mesh material from the C pillar. While these issues were disappointing, I have heard great things about Lexus quality overall. I have also test driven the 2017 330i and the 2017 Audi A4, which both felt more surefooted and had cabin materials that were constructed as expected. I have not yet made a decision on my vehicle, but I am still considering the Lexus IS200t. Overall, my experience at the dealership was a bit disappointing, but I am hopeful that I will find the right car for me.

We do not recommend this car for daily driving in heavy stop and go traffic due to a 3 second delay when merging into traffic from a stop, which can be unsafe. While the overall speed may not be a concern for those who do not accelerate hard to 60, the delay is a significant issue that should be taken into consideration.
