Hyundai Xg350 problems
The Hyundai Grandeur (Korean: 현대 그랜저) is an executive sedan manufactured and marketed by the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai since 1986, over five generations.
From 1986 to 1996, the Grandeur was the flagship for Hyundai's South Korean range before the Hyundai Dynasty was introduced. It is marketed globally as the Hyundai Azera. As the Azera, it was the flagship of Hyundai's US and Canadian lineup until the arrival of the Genesis sedan. After the launch of the separate Genesis brand, the Grandeur/Azera resumed its place as the company's flagship.
As of the 2017 model year, the Azera is no longer marketed in the United States and Canada. The sedan continued to be available in South Korea and the Middle East.

Common Hyundai Xg350 problems
The Hyundai XG350, a car from the year 2003, is known to have several common problems based on complaints from its owners. These issues include defects in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, problems with the fuel tank, poor shift quality, suspension issues, seat belt malfunctions, electrical system problems, and body paint concerns.
One of the most frequently reported problems with the Hyundai XG350 is a defective EGR system, which can cause an intermittent or unstable engine idle. The EGR system is responsible for recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency. However, when the EGR valve switches fail, it can lead to a rough or unstable engine idle. The average cost to replace this component is between $180 and $220.
Another common complaint among Hyundai XG350 owners is related to the fuel tank. Some owners have reported issues with the fuel line causing the pump to kick off prematurely when adding gas. This can result in the pump clicking off as if the tank is full, even after less than $1 has been added. This problem can be frustrating and may require the attention of a professional mechanic to diagnose and resolve.
Issues with poor shift quality have also been reported by Hyundai XG350 owners. In some cases, replacing the transmission fluid has been found to resolve the problem. However, in other instances, the transmission control module may need to be updated with the latest software to improve shift quality. This issue can be particularly problematic, as it can affect the overall driving experience and may require costly repairs to resolve.
Suspension problems have also been reported by Hyundai XG350 owners. These issues can range from minor annoyances, such as squeaky or noisy suspension components, to more serious problems, such as worn-out or damaged suspension parts. In some cases, these issues may require the replacement of suspension components, which can be costly and time-consuming to repair.
Seat belt malfunctions have also been reported by Hyundai XG350 owners. In some cases, the seat belts may not retract properly or may become stuck in the locked position. This can be a safety hazard and may require the attention of a professional mechanic to diagnose and resolve.
Electrical system problems have also been reported by Hyundai XG350 owners. These issues can range from minor annoyances, such as intermittent electrical failures or malfunctioning lights, to more serious problems, such as complete electrical failures. In some cases, these issues may require the replacement of electrical components, which can be costly and time-consuming to repair.
Body paint concerns have also been reported by Hyundai XG350 owners. These issues can range from minor scratches or chips in the paint to more serious problems, such as peeling or fading paint. In some cases, these issues may require the attention of a professional body shop to diagnose and resolve.
In summary, the Hyundai XG350, a car from the year 2003, is known to have several common problems based on complaints from its owners. These issues include defects in the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system, problems with the fuel tank, poor shift quality, suspension issues, seat belt malfunctions, electrical system problems, and body paint concerns. These issues can be frustrating and may require the attention of a professional mechanic to diagnose and resolve.

Pros: This vehicle boasts good styling and a plethora of extras, making it feel more like a full-size luxury car. Additionally, it provides a very comfortable and smooth ride. Cons: However, the paint quality could be improved, and it tends to roll on curves. The accelerator can also be a bit touchy, and the gas mileage could be better.

I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to share my experience with my Hyundai car. I bought it brand new and I have been very happy with it. Hyundai was the first car company to offer a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty, which gave me peace of mind. After owning it for 6 years and driving over 100,000 miles, I have not had any issues with it. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for a reliable and valuable vehicle. It is built very well and is durable. I even showed it to my neighbor and he ended up buying one too! I really appreciate all the features that come with this car. In fact, I often refer to it as a

Recently moved to Florida and needed a car right away. I absolutely loved the look of this car at a used dealership. It's 6 years old and runs so smoothly that I named it 'Denzel'. I make sure to give it regular oil changes and have replaced all the belts. Plus, it only had one previous owner. So far, it has definitely been worth its purchase price.

The XG is definitely the best car I have ever owned! Even at 168,000 miles, she is still running like a top. The cost of ownership of this BMW in sheep's clothing has been minimal, to say the least. I keep up with regular maintenance and expect to get at least 200,000 miles out of this car. Driver comfort is awesome - I'm 6'6

You've put on 80,000 miles cross country driving and the only expenses have been oil changes, gas, and new tires. The car is comfortable, fast, and has great handling/cornering, making it totally reliable. You can expect an average of 24 MPG (US gallons). I've been driving for 45 years and have owned many cars in all price ranges, but this one is the best. Although the climate control can be a bit unpredictable at times, it's not a major issue.

Hello! If you're an owner or prospective purchaser of an XG350, I wanted to share some information with you. It's possible that Hyundai may not have disclosed everything about the car's erratic automatic transmission. I recently had to replace the 'accelerator position sensor' to fix the issue. Additionally, if you're experiencing problems with wheel alignment or tire wear, it's worth noting that some XG350s have required adjustable rear ball joints to properly align the wheels. I speak from personal experience, and my source of information is highly placed. Please let me know if you have any questions!

I really want to like this car...unfortunately, it doesn't seem to feel the same way. Since Mar-02, it has spent 39 days (excluding Sundays) in the service department due to electrical problems. While this is a clear Lemon Law case, I am currently in a dispute with Hyundai.

I recently purchased a car from a reputable dealer, but unfortunately, I was ripped off finance-wise. Despite this, I am happy to report that everything in the car works, except for a short in the instrument panel and an inoperable inside release for the trunk. The sunroof is great, and the stock stereo is amazing. After driving it for a week, I noticed a misfire and a shudder in the transmission, but I looked up the TSB's and convinced the dealership to do those repairs. The car I purchased is in rough shape, but it seems like a pretty reliable vehicle thus far. I just wish the dealership hadn't charged me so much for it. It would have been well worth $2500-$3000, not $7999 plus 28.9% interest. Unfortunately, due to my fixed income and poor credit score, I didn't have many options. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and hope the car will continue to run well with over two hundred thousand miles on it!

The XG350L has a persistent transmission issue that neither the dealership nor the manufacturer have been able to resolve. Despite its occasional lack of power on startup, the car is generally a pleasure to drive. The design and features are impressive, and with a resolution to the transmission problems, Hyundai could easily compete with the top mid-size cars in the market. It is clear that the XG350L has the potential to be a luxurious and high-performing vehicle.

I recently purchased this car for its stylish appearance, affordable price, and great warranty. However, I did encounter some issues such as the need to replace the transmission, timing belt, and brakes at 60K miles. Additionally, the armrest latch and cruise control button broke, and there was a mysterious airbag light/sensor in the seat that took multiple attempts to fix. Unfortunately, just after the warranty expired, the main wire harness had a meltdown. Despite these setbacks, I still believe it is a decent car. I read the comments below and agree with many of the points made. I hope the transmission issues have been resolved. The biggest challenge I faced was the availability of parts, which often took a week to arrive from Korea. Lastly, I must admit that I feel a bit unpatriotic driving a non-American car. I wish I had supported an American company instead.
