Summary: since new there is a violent vibration in the steering wheel and floor boards. steering wheel oscillates side to side at speed from 38mph to very bad at 65mph. Dealer has had it 5 times and still cant fix it. they state the front hub extensions are out of round and have tried 3 sets without any success. this truck is not safe to drive as it will put your hands to sleep due to the vibration. Also it will cause premature system component failure. the GM forum and Duramax forum is showing many cases nation wide with this symptom. Also there is NO provision with the current 18 inch wheel to index concentrically with the mating hubs on all four wheel locations This is mainly affection the Dually wheel Denali or high-country vehicles

Summary: 1 - the failed component is the tailgate. The tailgate lowers automatically without any input from me while the vehicle is in operation. It has happened three times since buying the truck in February 2024. 2 - During the third event, I was backing up my Airstream trailer into its storage building when the tailgate dropped. At that time, I was negotiating a sharp turn in reverse and the tailgate came in contact with my trailer's propane tank housing. Both the tailgate and the propane tank housing were damaged (see photos). 3 - It was not until recently that I learned of a recall for the same condition on other trucks like mine, but for some reason my truck doesn't seem to be included even though it has the same condition as those trucks that are included. The tailgate and my trailer have not yet been inspected by any third parties (manufacturer, police, insurance, etc.), and no repairs have been made yet. 4 - There were no warning signals (either visible or audible) that the tailgate was down while the truck was in operation.

Summary: The in cab brake controller does not work with electric over hydraulic trailer brakes. In my research to diagnose and fix the problem I find out GMC has known about this for years and has done nothing to correct. I pulled code C1114 and GMC issued a bulletin for part number (K58-036-00) which I purchased and still did not correct this issue. In short there are many 3500 trucks out there running with no trailer brakes. Here is the worst of this problem. If brakes are tested at a stop they appear to work perfectly however once driving this is when the error code is delivered to the truck so the brakes work at a stop when not needed and do not work under driving when they are needed. GMC has ignored this for years and after spending more of my hard earned money for a fix that did not fix the problem. Below I had to choose a date however this has been an issue since first purchase December 5th 2023 to present.

Summary: Hello, I purchased my 2024 GMC 3500 AT4 Seirra late October 2023. Since the purchase date, I have been informed by motorist while at intersections my tailgate was down. I thought I was doing something wrong. On 3/3/2024 I was preparing to wash my truck and noticed my front amber lights were on surrounding my headlights. the vehicle was off, and my keys were in the house. Then my tailgate opener activated on at least 10 - 12 times. The tonneau cover is tight so the tailgate can need assistance opening. Nevertheless, the tailgate has opened on a number of occasions and my two front amber lights came on at least once. I reported this to my dealership on [XXX]. they said my truck has not been recalled yet but to watch this and if it progresses to call them. I noticed a small dent in the top rail of the tailgate on [XXX]. I have yet to put anything in the bed of the truck or even install a hitch in the receiver. I believe the tailgate had to be bumped when it was down by another vehicle, and this is absolutely related to the tailgate malfunction. since I haven't used the bed of the truck. Moreover, I feel GMC should be held responsible for the repair or replacement of my tailgate. Summary: The vehicle has had steering and alignment issues since the day I purchased the truck. The steering wheel is not centered. The steering wheel is always turned to the left but the vehicle pulls to the right. I have had it at my local dealership five times and they have confirmed what I have described but they are not able to fix the issue fully. They have rotated the tires 3 times and have aligned it all five times. The vehicle will be good for about 100 miles and will go out of alignment again. The dealership explained to me that they are experiencing this with all 2024 Chevy and GMC heavy duty trucks. The vehicle is very difficult to keep straight especially at higher speeds on the interstate. I am part of a 2024 Chevy and GMC owners facebook page and hundreds of consumers are complaining of the same issue.

Summary: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 vehicles equipped with power-unlatching tailgates. The tailgate's electronic gate-release switch may short circuit due to water intrusion, which can result in the tailgate inadvertently unlatching while the vehicle is in park.
Consequence: An unlatched tailgate may open while driving and result in a loss of unsecured cargo, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Owners are advised to check that the tailgate is closed and latched before driving. Dealers will replace the exterior touchpad switch assemblies, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782.
