The Chevrolet Trailblazer (9BYC) is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by General Motors under the Chevrolet brand since 2020. It is the smallest crossover from Chevrolet, slotting below the Trax.
Overview
The Trailblazer was launched on April 16, 2019, at the 18th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition alongside the Tracker, that replaced the outgoing Trax. The Trailblazer is aimed for developed markets, while the Tracker is aimed for emerging markets. Developed by GM Korea, the Trailblazer is assembled in Incheon, South Korea, while the Chinese-market model is produced in Yantai, Shandong, China, by SAIC-GM.
The Trailblazer made its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2019, and sales began in early 2020 as a 2021 model year vehicle. There are five trim levels available: L, LS, LT, Activ, and RS. The latter two came standard with dual exhaust and top of the line features. The Activ and RS models also feature a contrasting color roof.
It was launched in the Philippines in October 2021. Imported from South Korea, it notably reused the nameplate from the previous Colorado-based Trailblazer which was discontinued in the same year.
On January 16, 2020, the Trailblazer was launched in South Korea. The Korean-market model is larger in dimension than Trailblazers sold in other markets, with a length of 4,425 mm (174.2 in) and width of 1,810 mm (71.3 in).

- Summary: We own a 2022 Chevy Trailblazer and we have experienced the “shift to park” issue more times than we can count. This problem has caused me to be late to my job on numerous occasions and late to an exam that determines my graduation at school. Many users report being able to just shift through the gears a couple times or wiggling the gear shift and it shuts off, but that is not always my case. I have, on a few occasions now, had to remove my gear shift knob and panel completely, locating the park switch and manually bending it to recognize that my car was in park. Doing this will typically subside the issue for about a week, but no longer than that. We have tried to have the dealership see the message when taking it in for other things, but it never seems to happen when they are watching. There were no other issues with this vehicle before this started happening. We purchased the vehicle in February with about 44,000 miles. This issue has instilled fear in me every time I go to shut my vehicle off never knowing if it will actually shut off or not. Dramatic or not, it has caused unwanted anxiety and too many mental breakdowns that were not needed. This needs to be addressed and fixed ASAP!

Again I call again complaining about the brakes they say they will look again this time they say they have looked to see if there is any recalls and don’t see any so they grease the brakes they said if this don’t fix it then I would say that you just have very good brakes that’s what good brakes sound like. I’m fixing to have a baby and I’m worried that this could be potentially harmful with me one of these days not being able to stop because the brakes go bad. This has been going on for over a year and the delearship also informed they have it on record everytime I have called and complained

This is the first car I bought by myself when I was 22 years old and I absolutely love it! The ride is so smooth and it's incredibly spacious. It's also great on gas, especially when traveling long distances. The technology portion of the car is fantastic too! I adore the exterior look of the car, it's aggressive yet trendy. As a 5'4 female, I was initially hesitant about an SUV, but the second I sat in the driver's seat, I knew this was the car for me. I upgraded from a 2011 car to a 2022 SUV and I will forever love the smaller SUV because of this car. The guys at Turner Chevrolet in Harrisburg made this possible and they will always have my business. :)

I was really excited to find a Nissan Kicks in red, but unfortunately, I couldn't find one anywhere in Houston. I was disappointed to only find black, white, or steel gray metallic options, which aren't really my style. However, I decided to check out the Chevrolet dealership up the street. Although I was still a bit heartbroken about not finding the Nissan Kicks, I test drove the Chevy TRAX and was pleasantly surprised. The SUV Trail Blazer was even better, with a smoother ride, better gas mileage, and a price that fit my budget!

The 3 cyl was surprisingly peppy. The interior felt increasingly snug as we drove, and unfortunately, the back seat is quite small with limited leg room.

Although this is a sporty and compact vehicle, it may not be the best option for those with back problems due to the uncomfortable seats lacking lumbar support. If you are accustomed to riding with proper lumbar support, I would not recommend this vehicle. Unfortunately, the dealership I used did not allow me to swap it for another vehicle, so I am currently stuck with a car that causes me pain while driving.

I was extremely satisfied with this vehicle until it broke down unexpectedly. While exiting the interstate, I experienced a complete loss of power despite pressing the gas pedal all the way down. I managed to move the car to a safe location and checked the oil, only to find that the dipstick was completely dry. I contacted Chevy for assistance and had the car towed to the dealership. After adding oil and running a diagnostic, the dealership discovered a problem with the CVT transmission and were surprised to find that the oil level was overfilled. Despite multiple checks of the dipstick prior to the dealership visit, the issue was not identified. Unfortunately, Chevy has not provided any assistance with a rental or loaner vehicle, and a specialized technician is required to work on the transmission. This is a frustrating situation, especially considering the car has only 35k miles. However, I am confident that the issue will be resolved and I will be able to enjoy my vehicle once again.

Unfortunately, on Christmas Eve, the vehicle would not start and had to be towed. After diagnosis, it was determined that the sensor responsible for detecting when the vehicle is in park was faulty. Although I have exceeded the 36,000-mile warranty, I am confident in my decision to have it repaired for over $500, as it is necessary for the vehicle to function properly. Additionally, I have noticed some dashboard vibration, which I understand may be a separate issue. While I did not receive a quote for this issue, I am willing to address it as needed. Overall, I remain satisfied with my Trailblazer and am confident that it will continue to serve me well for years to come.
