- Summary: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2021 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vehicles equipped with 6.6L gasoline engines. The positive battery cable terminals may contact a fuse block assembly attachment post and cause an electrical short circuit.
- Consequence: A short-circuit can increase the risk of a fire.
- Remedy: Owners are advised to park their vehicles outside and away from structures until the repair is complete. GM will notify owners, and dealers will remove a portion of the anti-rotation tab on both positive battery cable terminals near the fuse block assembly attachments, free of charge. If too much of the tab had been removed during prior servicing, the battery cable will be replaced, free of charge. The recall began April 16, 2021. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, and GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N202325160.

- Summary: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020 Buick Enclave, Cadillac XT4, XT5, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Suburban, Tahoe, Traverse, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, 2018-2021 Chevrolet Express, GMC Savana, 2019-2020 Chevrolet Blazer, Silverado 1500, GMC Acadia, Sierra 1500, and certain Continental tires sold to the aftermarket for various model year 2018-2021 vehicles. The affected tires were cured for too long during production.
- Consequence: Over cured tires may develop a break in the sidewall resulting in sudden air loss or a belt edge separation which could lead to a tread/belt loss. Either condition can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Remedy: GM will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the tires, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall began March 22, 2021. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267, Buick customer service at 1-866-608-8080, Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or Cadillac customer service at 1-800-458-8006. This is a 2015 Chevy Express LT 2500 van that I got in July 2017. It's the 12 passenger model with the 6.0 liter engine. I bought it to haul my dogs around to shows and performance events. The interior is nice and the multiple rear AC vents are great for keeping the dogs cool. The exterior is in great shape and it looks good going down the road. It drives very easily (of course, I'm downsizing from a Dodge B3500 so pretty much anything drives better). I have made several short trips and I'm really satisfied with it. Update, August 2019: Now I’ve used it on long trips and to haul a utility trailer. Everything works great. The trips were easy and it handled the hauling with ease. I barely knew the trailer was there. Other than standard maintenance, I haven’t needed any repair work. I'm very happy with this vehicle. Update, February 2020: Over 75K miles and still going strong with no issues. The paint job looks great and there are no body issues. All systems are working fine. UPDATE August 2021: Over 100K miles and everything is still working great. I had to have a relay switch for the power windows replaced and that was it.

The Express is far superior to Ford's version and superior to all others I tried before I purchased it. I found it to be quiet, very powerful, comfortable, stylish, and with excellent workmanship. These features really stood out to me when comparing it to other options.

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to share that I bought this van used for my plumbing business and I'm really happy with it. The AWD is incredible in the snow, even better than any of the 4x4 trucks I've had in the past. It rides great, gets decent gas mileage at 14-15 MPG, and drives really nicely. The only thing I wish is that it came in an extended version. Thanks for listening!

I have experience driving several different vans of this model, ranging from '06 to '09. The engine provides excellent power, and the AWD system really helps with road grip. However, the gas mileage could be improved, as the best I've ever gotten is 17mpg (on 87 octane gas). I did find the traction control system to be a bit unnerving, as it shuts off all power for several seconds if you lose traction, which can be concerning when pulling out onto a busy intersection. On the other hand, I appreciate some of the features, such as the on-board tire pressure monitors and the oil life percentage. Overall, I think it's a good van. The only issue I've had was an oil filter gasket leak, which was likely due to an installation fault by the garage.

It seems like GM could improve their MPG ratings. I've been getting around 15 MPG with no cargo and 12 MPG with 8000 GVW. Additionally, the split outside mirrors can be quite bothersome and take some getting used to. The plastic door panels clip in place and can sometimes pop out, causing the clips to break off. However, I have found that at times it can be difficult to see the driver info display due to the steering wheel. Overall, it's been a bit of a learning curve, but I'm still enjoying my vehicle.

Our family van is our second express. The first one was a 1999 12-passenger van, and the current one is a 2011 15-passenger van. We have no reason to sell it other than the fact that it's a little old to take on cross-country trips. It's great for local trips to Lowe's with the seats out or for family events with all or some of the seats back in. We drive it every day, but we don't want to pay the sticker price of a new one since they really haven't changed much over the years.

Hi there! I borrowed this vehicle for my growing family and unfortunately, it didn't quite meet our needs. Within just 5 minutes, we noticed that the kids had to duck under seat belts to get to the 3rd row and there were no headrests for the back rows. Additionally, we felt every bump in the road. It's a shame that the engineers didn't think this through more thoroughly. We're now saving up for a Mercedes Benz Sprinter which we hope will be a better fit for us!

I recently purchased three new 2017 GMC vans to replace our existing Ford vans for business purposes. Unfortunately, we have experienced some issues with the vans and they have required warranty work and recalls a total of 12 times in the last year. While I am not a fan of the new Ford Transit vans, I may have reconsidered my decision if I had known about these issues beforehand. It's important to do your research and make an informed decision to avoid any potential issues.
