2018 Ford E-350 problems
The Ford E-Series (also known as the Ford Econoline, Ford Econovan or Ford Club Wagon) is a range of full-size vans manufactured and marketed by the Ford Motor Company. Introduced for 1961 as the replacement of the Ford F-Series panel van, four generations of the model line have been produced. Marketed for both cargo and passenger transport configurations, the E-Series has been designed with multiple design variations for both retail and commercial sale, including vans, and commercial-grade cutaway van chassis and stripped chassis (a chassis without bodywork).
With over 8.2 million units sold since 1961, the Ford E-Series is the third-best selling van line in history (outranked only by the Ford Transit and Volkswagen Transporter). Ford retired the E-Series passenger and cargo vans after 2014, replacing them with the Ford Transit. As of current production, the E-Series remains offered exclusively in cutaway and stripped-chassis configurations. In 2021, the model line entered its 60th year of production (becoming the second current Ford line to do so).
The E-Series (cutaway/stripped chassis) is assembled by Ford at its Ohio Assembly facility (Avon Lake, Ohio), which has produced the model line since 1975. Prior to its closure, Lorain Assembly (Lorain, Ohio) assembled the model line from 1961 to 2005.

Common 2018 Ford E-350 problems
The Ford E-350 Super Duty, a popular choice for commercial and fleet applications, has been reported to have several common problems based on owner complaints. This problem can be caused by various factors, including faulty fuel injectors, damaged ignition coils, or issues with the engine's spark plugs. A defective fuel injector can lead to uneven fuel distribution, causing the engine to run roughly and potentially triggering the check engine light. Damaged ignition coils or faulty spark plugs can also result in a misfiring engine, contributing to the rough running condition.
Another common problem reported by owners is a loud popping noise and misfire experienced during operation. This issue is often related to the engine's fuel system, specifically the fuel injectors or the fuel pressure regulator. A malfunctioning fuel injector can cause uneven fuel delivery, leading to a misfire and the accompanying popping noise. Additionally, a faulty fuel pressure regulator can result in improper fuel pressure, causing the engine to run poorly and potentially leading to the popping noise and misfire.
The front end of the Ford E-350 Super Duty has also been reported to make a rattle noise during operation. This problem can be attributed to various factors, including loose suspension components, worn-out bushings, or damaged drive belts. A loose suspension component, such as a sway bar link or a control arm bushing, can cause the front end to rattle during operation. Worn-out bushings in the suspension system can also contribute to the rattle noise, as they lose their ability to absorb vibrations and shocks effectively. Damaged drive belts can also cause a rattle noise, especially if they are loose or misaligned.
Ford has issued a recall for the 2018 E-350 Super Duty due to concerns about the engine stalling unexpectedly.
In summary, the Ford E-350 Super Duty has several common problems based on owner complaints. These issues include a rough running engine with a possible check engine light, a loud popping noise and misfire, and a rattle noise from the front end. Ford has also issued a recall for the 2018 E-350 Super Duty due to concerns about the engine stalling unexpectedly. It is essential to address these issues promptly to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the vehicle.

SUSPENSION,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEM
- Date Of Incident: 2018-05-15
- VIN: 1FDWE3FSXHD
- Components: SUSPENSION,ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary: THIS VEHICLE HAS A 12,500 GVWR. WE RECENTLY HAD THIS AT A FORD DEALER FOR A BROKEN LEFT REAR SUSPENSION. THE DEALER WEIGHED THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AND DETERMINED THE TARE WEIGHT TO BE 11,200 LBS. THIS IS A CLASS-C MOTORHOME AND IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY OF ANY AND ALL CARGO, NO LIQUIDS, WHICH IS CAPABLE OF CARRYING 40 GALLONS OF WATER AT 8.3 GALLONS PER POUND. THERE WAS LESS THAN 1/4 OF A TANK OF FUEL, OF A 55 GALLON TANK AND THE MANUFACTURER STATES THAT THIS IS A 4 PASSENGER VEHICLE. WITH THE MATH WE HAVE DONE, OF 40 GALLONS OF WATER AT 333.60 LBS AND 55 GALLONS OF GAS EQUATES TO 346.50 LBS. MY 4 MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY COMBINED WEIGH IN AT 800 LBS AND WITH ALL THE TOTALS ADDED TOGETHER I COME UP WITH 12, 680 GVWR. THIS VEHICLE HAS A RATED BY THE MANUFACTURER TOW CAPACITY OF 8,000 LBS. THE VEHICLE HAS MANY LARGE STORAGE BINS INCORPORATED INTO THE UNIT. BASED ON THE WEIGHTS DISPLAYED, I'VE ALREADY EXCEEDED THE GVWR. WITH THAT SAID, I CAN NOT LEGALLY DRIVE THIS VEHICLE WITH THE 4 MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY. MY STORAGE COMPARTMENTS ARE COMPLETELY EMPTY AND I HAVE NO CAMPING SUPPLIES ONBOARD, THAT INCLUDING POTS, PANS, CUPS, TOITLETRIES, CHAIRS, ETC.THE REASON FOR THIS NOTICE IS BECAUSE THE LEFT REAR SUSPENSION HAS FAILED IN ONLY 7,000 MILES TRAVELED. I'M FEARFUL THAT IF I DRIVE THIS AND HAVE ANY SITUATION ON THE ROAD, THAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL INVALIDATE MY POLICY.
