2022 Acura Ilx problems
The Acura ILX is a compact car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Honda under the Acura brand, based on the ninth-generation Civic sedan. The ILX replaced the Canadian market exclusive Acura CSX. The gasoline-electric hybrid version was Acura's first.
Overview
The concept version was unveiled at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, the production version was presented in the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. The ILX introduces a new design that Acura calls "aero-fused dynamics". Mass production commenced on April 23 at Honda's assembly facility in Greensburg, Indiana and U.S. sales began on May 22.
The ILX's body in white uses 59% high strength steel ranging from 440-980 MPa yield strength grades, aluminum is used for the hood and front bumper beam. Compared to the Civic, the ILX uses Acura's "Amplitude Reactive" dampers and a larger more rigid steering shaft for improved handling and ride quality characteristics.
Options are grouped into Premium and Technology packages and include leather upholstery, 17" alloy wheels, navigation system, premium audio system with SiriusXM satellite radio, and high intensity discharge headlamps. Both option packages include a multi-view rear backup camera with regular, wide-angle, and top-down modes.
For the 2014 model year the ILX came standard with 17-inch wheels, leather interior, heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, tri-angle backup camera and audio subwoofer with Active Noise Cancellation.
For the 2015 model year, the ILX Hybrid was discontinued due to slow sales. Through May of 2014, only 2,660 Hybrid units were sold since its introduction.

- Summary: I, [XXX] , entered into a car agreement with Carwise which assisted me with searching for cars that best suited my family and I. May of 2022 we finally found the car that we thought was a great fit for the family. A representative from Carwise showed up at my home with the Acura ILX A-Spec along with the proper documents to be signed so I could be ready to take the vehicle. I [XXX] along with the Carwise representative stood behind the vehicle to go through each document that needed to be signed, We were going through it and along that process, I was never informed the price of the vehicle was no longer the price that I was told initially before the car was brought. I was told the vehicle was around $32,000, I was told the car was new and had no issues, and I was told I didn’t have to put in a down payment which at first was true, no payment was given. Upon further research and investigation, I later found out that the down payment was added as an extra. When ready to complete the contract, the representative that was supposed to go through the contract thoroughly with me did not do so which resulted in me signing away to what turned out to be bait and switch. I contacted the lender to see if the car was repossessed and they confirmed they hired MC Trac towing company to pick up my vehicle. I had spoken to them, and they stated the car was repossessed at my home, which was inaccurate information. I have been suffering mentally due to so many issues arising with the lenders, the car dealerships, and everyone involved. I’ve been sent back and forth, and no issue seems to be resolved and the Acura is my only form of transportation. I am seeking to have my vehicle returned in the perfect state that it was, along with all payments that were made since its first purchase, along with all hardships and extra payments that were made through all processes. I'm glad to hear that it exceeded your expectations during the test drive and that you ended up taking it home. 😂😂 While the infotainment system may be a bit confusing at first, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in no time!

This is a really nice, medium-sized entry-level luxury car. I've owned Audis, Mercedes, and BMWs, and I would definitely put this car right up there with them. It has a very stiff ride, so if you enjoyed driving the Audis of the 80s and 90s, you'll love this car. The only downside I would mention is that the gas mileage could be better. After 5 months, I'm averaging around 30 MPG, whereas similar-sized Hondas do much better.

I just bought a 2020 ILX and I absolutely love it! Despite the negative criticism from car critics, I found that as a daily driver, it's a fantastic car. When I looked at owner reviews, it was like night and day. Test driving it was an awesome experience and I knew right away that I had to have it. Previously, I had a Mazda and the main difference I noticed was that the screen was larger in that car and it didn't have a CD player. But to be honest, I don't really care about those things. I just love my Acura!

A spec premium in white. It looks very sharp and drives great. Make sure to use the recommended premium gas, as it definitely makes a difference.

Leasing my 2021 ILX Premium Package has been a great experience! The pick up and drive are both really nice, and the features are fantastic. It's perfect for blasting music and I get compliments on it all the time. I was even asked what I do for a living to be able to afford it! While there are a couple of things I wish were different, like the outdated dash and the gas mileage, I am overall very happy with it. In fact, I'm even considering keeping it after my lease period. Thanks for considering my offer!
