I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with buying a Certified Car. Although it can cost anywhere from $1500 to $2000 more, I believe it's well worth the extra money. As for the extended warranty, I personally don't think it's necessary if you don't drive a lot of miles. In the 6 1/2 years that I've owned my car, I've only had to change the oil on schedule and replace the batteries. I'm so impressed with this car that I'm now searching for my third V-8 LS that will take me deep into retirement. I'm not a fan of the idea of a 6 cylinder big car. Everyone who sees the car remarks about the fit and finish. Everything fits together perfectly and works flawlessly. While the exterior may share some styling with the Lexus ES, you know you're driving a top-of-the-line car once you are inside. In contrast to many European rivals, all the controls and buttons are easy to understand. Many of these have adjustable features which can be set by the owner or the dealer, such as how long the interior lights stay on after you shut the door. The car has an overall mileage of 22 MPG.

The car is big and roomy, with good power from the 4.6L V8 and the 8 speed tranny. The materials are soft touch and the layout is very good in my opinion. The vehicle is well made and looks good, making it one of the nicest rides around. Lexus got it right with this one.

Hi there! I noticed that you recently upgraded from a 2002 LS-430 to the 460. While the 430 had a more luxurious style, roominess, and feel, I hope you're enjoying the new features of the 460. I understand that the gas mileage may not be ideal and the exterior style may not be as distinctive as you were hoping for a luxury car. It's priced at $76K, but it may look more like a car in the $30-45K range. Nonetheless, I hope you're still finding it to be a comfortable and enjoyable ride!

The car had some issues with squeaks and rattles in the doors and driver's seat, which unfortunately could not be resolved despite multiple visits to the dealer. As a result, I made the difficult decision to sell the car back to the dealer. While this experience was disappointing, I have had better luck with other luxury car brands in the past such as the S-class and 7 series.

The rating would have been much higher if the door panels were not melting. The areas around the steering, glove box, and sides of the consoles are very soft and easily dent. It's possible to accidentally leave a mark or a dent by poking your nails in any of those areas. I've heard that there were recalls on the newer models for those interior parts. Hopefully, they will do a recall soon for the 2009 models. I bought this car originally from Florida, so I guess the heat in Florida caused these interior parts to get very soft and melt.
