The Electrified GV70 (or the eGV70) is the battery electric version of the GV70. It was revealed at the Auto Guangzhou on November 19, 2021, and officially released on March 16, 2022. The Electrified GV70 features a dual motor setup with all wheel drive. According to Genesis, the Electrified GV70 can charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes using a 350 kW charger. It has 503 liters (17.8 cu ft) of the trunk and 22 liters (0.78 cu ft) of frunk capacity. A 12.3-inch cluster with a GUI dedicated to electric models was applied.

- Summary: Started car. Would not accelerate past 30-40 miles an hour even when I pressed the Gas Pedal to the floor. I pulled over and turned the car off. On restart it seems to be fine. The Genesis GV 70 forum is replete with owners having the same issue. This is a 2022 with less than 25,000 miles on the Odometer. There are not many of these cars on the road and probably many owners are unaware that this seems to be a recurring issue on many of these models. I implore the NHTSA to look into this matter quickly before fatal accidents , if they haven’t occurred already, happen.

- Summary: I purchased this vehicle brand new in July 2023. By Jan 2024, it was already having major issues. The 2 major issues with this vehicle are 1) it had an engine misfire ( thus engine and fuel system issues) that cut the power to the vehicle and made it dangerous to drive and thus had to be in at the Genesis dealer service center 3 times (Jan, April and May 2024). The 2nd problem is electrical. On Oct 1st, 2024 the brake lights wouldn't turn off at all despite several troubleshooting attempts. That electrical problem drained the battery and after the car was jump started, after I started to drive, then the car cold died in the middle of the road. I had my 10 day old newborn in the car and I had to get out and stop cars that were driving towards me. Attached is the repair invoice for the engine misfire earlier this year and the car is currently at the repair facility for the electrical problem so no invoice has been generated yet.

- Summary: I have been getting a number of safety warning lights since about 6 months after buying this car. It is new, under warranty and I am first owner. They were intermittent initially, but have become increasingly frequent and are now associated with a constant warning ping. I have taken the car to FitzGerald Genesis in Clearwater Florida 7 times for this problem. They can reproduce it (and have the codes) but they can not fix it (I took it to Crown Genesis of St. Pete twice for this problem) Genesis has not been interested in repurchasing this car under the lemon law - but offered me 2 car payments to sign a release of liability which I declined. They then called and asked if I could bring the car back for an 8th (really 10th) attempt to fix. They are aware that the safety features are not working (including Adaptive cruise control, lane sensing, forward collision detection, stability control among others) I am in Maine for the summer - but I arranged for a neighbor to drive the car to them. It was in an accident. I am offended that Genesis would ask anyone to drive that car in this unsafe condition. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

- Summary: In April 2024, I was driving down a side street at about 30 mph. Suddenly there was a slam against the side of the car. I pulled over a block later and found that the passenger side mirror housing had gone into the "closed/locked" position, evidently at speed, dislodging the side mirror. The mirror had then slammed into the car door frame, denting it, and cracking the mirror, causing some of it to shatter away. Thankfully, my car windows were closed or I would likely have had glass shards flying into my car cabin at high speed. There is no damage at all to the mirror housing. I have no explanation for the sudden, fast closing movement other than something that caused it to think it needed to close. I took the car to a Genesis dealer. Without any examination, they told me it "could not be" a flaw in the car; that there must have been an impact. I asked how that could happen with no damage to the mirror housing at a high enough speed to completely dislodge the glued-in and fastened-in mirror and dent the window frame on the car. They had no explanation. I then reported this to Genesis. Their response was I would have to take it to a dealer to be looked at. Neither dealer in the area would sell me a new mirror to self-install and were "squirrely" about when a repair could be made, citing "supply chain" problems getting a replacement mirror. Three weeks ago (late June), while driving on a highway at approximately 70 mph, the same passenger side mirror housing suddenly slammed into the closed position. There was no damage to the car because the mirror was already missing. But this makes me very concerned about replacing the mirror if this intermittent problem is going to recur. I have an appointment at a different dealership scheduled for the end of this month and (along with the open recall and standard service) am asking them to look at this problem again. Pictures provided are of damaged mirror, dented car window frame, and undamaged mirror housing.

- Summary: The contact owns a 2022 Genesis Supreme Vortex Toy Hauler equipped with Sailun Tires, Tire Line: S637, Tire Size: 235/85/R16, and DOT Number: XXXX that was hitched to a 2006 GMC Sierra. The contact stated while driving at approximately 50 MPH, the front driver's side tire tread had separated off the tire and would not retain air. The failure occurred during a long-distance camping trip and fortunately, the RV had a spare tire. The contact replaced the front driver-side tire with the spare tire. We recently purchased the 2023 2.5t Sport Prestige and we absolutely love driving it every chance we get. The ride is solid and comfortable, and it has plenty of power to climb mountains at any speed we want. The only issue we had was trying to sync up the aftermarket wheels (winter wheel and tire package) and TPMS. Although it wasn't the dealer's fault, we really appreciated their full treatment in helping diagnose the issue at no cost. They even gave us a loaner vehicle and washed the car for an issue created by an aftermarket wheel package. We were truly impressed with their service and still very impressed with the car and the value we received. We also love the fact that we don't see the same car everywhere we go. It's truly an undiscovered gem!

I've had my GV70 for about 3 months now and I must say, it's one of the best cars I've ever owned. As a 72-year-old who has had several new cars in my life, I can confidently say that this car ticks all the boxes for me. I love everything about it! I had a Subaru Ascent before this and I'm glad I made the switch to Genesis. I would have been dealing with my second or third recall by now if I had stuck with the Subaru. Although I wasn't used to paying full sticker price, I believe it was worth every penny. I highly recommend this vehicle.

AWD 2.5 LT Advanced is a great crossover SUV with a silver/brown interior. With only 3,000 miles, it has had no issues. I love the drive modes, especially the Sport mode which I used when driving to the coast/mountains and it performed great. When I went to the snow, I used the snow mode and it plowed right through the slippery roads. In Eco mode, I have been getting 22 MPG overall. The only drawback is the gas mileage, which is not great around town, but the power is awesome, so it's a good trade-off. I paid $53k for it, and I believe it's the best value in the market.

Awesome lines with amazing comfort and luxury. UPDATE: Traded in my wife's Infiniti for a GV70 Advance. Excellent ride with a lot of advanced technology. It also looks great a gets a lot of attention. Luxurious interior with more than enough space for 4.

The car is certainly beautiful and well-appointed, but it's important to note that it falls short of being considered a 'luxury' vehicle, regardless of what the dealer may try to sell you on. While I've been fortunate with other brands in the past, such as Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, and have never had to bring them in for repairs, unfortunately, this has not been the case with my Hyundai. When I've had warranty issues with those other vehicles, the response has always been very prompt and helpful, which is not something I've experienced with this brand. I recently had to bring my Hyundai in to have the AC fixed, and while it was frustrating to have to wait three weeks for an appointment, the dealership was able to charge the system and get it working again. However, I did notice that the air was blowing warmer than it should have been shortly after leaving the dealership. While I believe that new vehicles should not have issues within the first 5k miles, I understand that sometimes you can be unlucky and end up with a vehicle that has problems. Overall, while the service standards may not be considered 'luxury', my family and I still own a Hyundai and enjoy driving it.

We were put on a waiting list in September 2022, but unfortunately, the car we were waiting for never arrived. By January 2023, we decided to take matters into our own hands and started calling dealerships across the country to find what we were looking for. We eventually found the car we wanted in Las Vegas, but unfortunately, we experienced a significant acceleration issue while driving it home. The dealer initially refused to take ownership of the issue, but we insisted that they fix it. Our brand new car had to be serviced for three weeks at another dealership to resolve the problem. Despite our disappointment, we are happy to report that the issue seems to have been fixed. However, we were disappointed with the lack of support from Genesis NA and the dealership we bought the car from. We were even told by the Genesis Customer Relations manager to 'adjust our expectations', which was not what we expected from a luxury car manufacturer. We hope that Genesis can improve their customer service and treat their customers with the respect they deserve. Despite our negative experience, we still want to love our new car.

I regret to say that I have had a negative experience with my car, which has cost me $60,000. The computer/navigating/driver assist systems have not met my expectations, and I have encountered issues with the functionality of my car. Unfortunately, the customer service/service department has not been able to provide me with a satisfactory solution. Despite leaving voicemail messages, I have not received a response from either the corporate office or the local service department. I am disappointed with the level of service provided and am considering pursuing a Lemon law process. I would advise against purchasing this brand.

I regret to report that I have made a significant error, which has resulted in a financial loss of $60,000. While the car itself is not the issue, I have encountered difficulties with the computer, navigation, and driver assist systems. Unfortunately, the customer service and service department have not met my expectations in terms of their treatment of customers. Despite having experienced problems with the computer functionality of my car for almost a month, the earliest appointment available for repairs is in mid-August, with the next available loaner not until mid-October. I was informed that I would receive Do-It-Yourself instructions via email, but have yet to receive them. Regrettably, I have not received any response to the voicemail messages I have left with both the corporate office and local service department. I am disappointed that such a high-profile brand would have such poor customer service and spend so much time fixing their cars. I may have to pursue legal action under the Lemon Law. I strongly advise against purchasing this brand.
