Toyota Prius v problems

The Toyota Prius v (for versatile), also named Prius α (pronounced as Alpha) in Japan, and Prius+ in Europe and Singapore, is a hybrid gasoline-electric automobile produced by Toyota introduced in Japan in May 2011, in the U.S. in October 2011, and released in Europe in June 2012. The Prius v was unveiled at the January 2011 North American International Auto Show alongside the Prius c Concept, and it is the first Prius variant to be spun off from the Prius platform. According to Toyota the "v" stands for "versatility". It is a compact MPV with a standard full hybrid drivetrain.
The Prius α was offered in the Japanese market with both nickel–metal hydride battery and lithium-ion battery. The Prius v in the U.S. was offered only with a nickel–metal hydride battery. As of April 2016, global sales totaled about 634,000 units, led by Japan with 428,400 units sold, representing 67.6% of global sales.
Specifications
The Prius v design resembles compact based minivans prevalent in Europe and has a drag coefficient of Cd=0.29 with a shape that evolved from the Prius. The exterior styling is rounded with an extended roofline that allows the vehicle to retain the triangular silhouette symbolic of Prius. Other differences are the trapezoidal-shaped front with sharp-edged headlamps and wind-slipping aero corners for improved aerodynamics, as well as an enlarged under grille. The rear styling has a specially designed roof spoiler that improves air flow.
The interior cargo space is more than 50% larger than the 2010 Toyota Prius, 5 inches (130 mm) longer and 1 inch (25 mm) wider, providing 34.3 cubic feet (970 L) of cargo space behind the rear seats; it also offers 38 inches (970 mm) of rear leg room, and more head height.
The Toyota Prius v includes many of the same standard features of the 2010 Prius, with four driving modes: Normal, Power, Eco and EV; smart key with push button start, an electronic shift lever, Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), and a back-up camera. Available options include energy-efficient LED headlamps, dynamic radar cruise control with a Pre-Collision System (PCS), and advanced parking guidance system. The Prius v has several technical advancements including Toyota's new Toyota Entune Multimedia System and a panoramic sunroof made of lightweight resin, 40% lighter than a glass roof of the same size. Entune premiered on the 2012 Toyota Prius v.

Common Toyota Prius v problems
The Toyota Prius V is a compact multi-purpose vehicle known for its spaciousness, fuel efficiency, and affordability. However, like any vehicle, it has its share of common problems. Here are some of the most frequently reported issues based on complaints from owners of this car:
2014-2015 Toyota Prius V
- Miscalibrated Passenger Seat Occupant Detection System Sensors: The sensors in the passenger seat of 2014 and 2015 Prius V models were not properly calibrated, which caused the airbags to fail to deploy. Toyota issued a recall and had dealers re-calibrate the sensors free of charge.
- Overheated Hybrid Inverter Assembly: The hybrid inverter assembly, which is responsible for supplying power from the battery to the engine, is prone to overheating. When it overheats, the engine may get reduced power or shut down completely. Toyota issued a recall in 2015 and released a software update for the motor/generator control electronic and the hybrid inverter assembly.
2012-2013 Toyota Prius V
- Overheated Hybrid Inverter Assembly: The hybrid inverter assembly in 2012-2013 Toyota Prius V models is also prone to overheating, leading to reduced engine power or complete shutdown. Toyota issued a recall in 2015 and released a software update for the motor/generator control electronic and the hybrid inverter assembly.
- Cracked Brake Pressure Accumulator: The brake pressure accumulator in 2013 Prius V models is prone to cracking, especially when the vehicle is traveling over bumpy roads. Once the brake pressure accumulator cracks, the driver will experience a loss of braking power, which can prevent the vehicle from responding in time. Replacing the brake pressure accumulator can fix this issue.
2012-2017 Toyota Prius V
- Alarm Triggering While Driving: The alarm in some 2012-2017 Toyota Prius V models may trigger while driving due to a faulty speed sensor, low brake fluid, or total brake failure. It is recommended to have this issue checked out by a professional.
- Brake Issues: Premature pad/rotor wear, pulsation or vibration, antilock system, parking brake, master cylinder, calipers, squeaking, brake failure, regenerative braking are some of the common brake issues reported by owners of 2012-2017 Toyota Prius V models. These issues can be caused by various factors, including warped rotors, corroded brake lines, and faulty regenerative braking systems.
It is important to note that while these issues are common, not all vehicles of the same year, make, and model will experience these problems. Regular maintenance and inspections can help prevent or address these issues before they become major problems. Additionally, some of these issues may be covered under warranty or recall campaigns, so it is recommended to check with a Toyota dealership or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's recall database for more information.
Is the Prius V reliable?
The Toyota Prius V Reliability Rating is 4.0 out of 5.0, which ranks it 4th out of 24 for midsize cars. The average annual repair cost is $437 which means it has excellent ownership costs. The severity of repairs is low while frequency of those issues is average, so major issues are uncommon for the Prius V.
Why was the Prius V discontinued?
U.S. sales of the Prius v were discontinued at the end of the 2017 model year as sales had fallen considerably since the 2016 launch of the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid.

Toyota Prius v 2014
- Date Of Incident: 2024-10-03
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-25
- VIN: JTDKN3DU4E0
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: I was driving on the highway during rush hour when a loud beeping noice began. My 15 year old cousin was in the passenger seat and began to check for the source of the beeping. I was driving 55mph on a busy highway with no safe shoulder stop. As I was preparing for the exit, the brakes suddenly became dysfunctional. The pedal was extremely hard to press down and I found myself unable to slow down the car in enough time to avoid hitting upcoming traffic. I found myself in an urgent, life threatening situation and needed to pull over into the emergency lane located before the exit. I could not just consider my safety, but that of other drivers and my 15 year old passenger. She is traumatized. I was able to get the car to stop with my entire weight on the pedal. Once stopped, I scrambled to find the reason for the sudden brake problem, checking if anything rolled under my foot, if the floor mat was loose, if the gear shift was wrong, even checked if I accidentally hit the emergency brake. Nothing was out of place. No new dash lights. I looked in the manual. I had no information. I went to jiffy lube and they performed a diagnostic test and informed me they are unable see all the codes with hybrids because Toyota’s computer can only see Just in August I went to Toyota for my oil change, nothing was said about the brakes needing to be fixed and how repairing them now would prevent the failure of the accumulator pump system. If I had known paying $400-$500 for the brakes then would prevent having to pay $3000 to replace a pump. I would have made that sacrifice and went outside of my budget. This is paramount information that should be disclosed to all Toyota customers that take their car in for care and pay. After further research, I STRONGLY BELIEVE TOYOTA EMPLOYEES PURPOSELY WITHHOLD INFORMATION FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS NOT INFORMING CONSUMERS ABOUT AVOIDING PUMP FAILURE AND THE NEED REPAIR THEIR BRAKES AND IS COMPLICIT IN ANY INCIDENT CAUSED BY PUMP FAILURE MAY CAUSE.

- Summary: I write to add my voice to the litany of complaints in support of NHTSA investigation DP23005. While on an road trip recently the ABS, Traction Control, and Brake warning lights all came on. The brake felt squishy and didn't seem to be functioning as confidently as before. I altered my driving (giving plenty of distance, lowering my speed) so that in the event the brakes quit working I would have an exit strategy. I took it to my Independent Service Center as soon as possible who found the code C1391 and diagnosed the need to replace the master cylinder / booster assembly for several thousand dollars. Of course I must do this in order to remain safe but this is clearly a safety issue that could have been catastrophic. Meanwhile I am out of a car for several weeks until the part arrives and out of at least $2000 as quoted by my mechanic ($1640 for the part). The car only has 146,500 miles on it so otherwise would have plenty of life left in it. I'm filing this complaint to add my voice to the open petition and toward the NHTSA's investigation in strong support of holding Toyota responsible for PREVENTING injury and death through a proper recall, as well as against burdening the car owner with the costs of making up for Toyota's negligence on this issue. At the least they need to cover the cost of these necessary safety repairs when they are warned by the lights and reinstate their warranty extension for this issue
Toyota Prius v 2014
- Date Of Incident: 2024-10-18
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-22
- VIN: JTDZN3EU0EJ
- Components: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM,VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL,SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: Car was diagnosed at a Toyota dealership with a brake booster issue reading code 20TE07 after my vehicles brakes suddenly would not work and the car continued to jolt forward. The brakes wouldn’t stop the car. According to Toyota, my vehicle is three months outside of the warranty period but under the covered mileage so we are left to repair this defect ourselves. This was a very dangerous situation and could have cost us and our children our lives instead of just the $4800 repair cost. This has happened to both of our Prius’s so this is not a rare issue. Toyota needs to have a plan for these parts failing suddenly and they should all be recalled for safety in my opinion. The experience was very scary and we had zero control over the vehicle when the brakes suddenly went out. Where do I join the class action lawsuit?
Toyota Prius v 2014
- Date Of Incident: 2024-10-16
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-22
- VIN: JTDKN3DU9E0
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: Without warning, my brakes completely stopped working and I was fortunate enough to be somewhere I was able to pull over without being killed. Toyota is aware of this issue, but put a 10 year timeline on the complementary repair, which is totally unacceptable, as owners were not notified directly about this program, therefore how could we know it existed, was a problem, and to go get it fixed within their arbitrary deadline? I could have died losing brakes on the freeway, or even could have killed or injured others. This is a known, and severe safety hazard, and Toyota is not taking responsibility. It is unconscionable. Hoping for a class action lawsuit. It was a $5500 repair in California, which was almost the value of the car. Absolutely brutal and horrendous business practices from this company. Shame on them. I hope this agency NHTSA will add this report to the pile of others who have reported this, and actually take meaningful action for those of us who have been put at risk, and ripped off in the process.

Toyota Prius v 2017
- Date Of Incident: 2024-08-16
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-20
- VIN: JTDZN3EU3HJ
- Components: TIRES
- Summary: While driving I heard noises, like “flap, flap, flap”. Pulled over to look at the tire and saw that the tire was peeling. Changed to the donut spare tire and went to “Firestone” 5 days later to have a new tire put on because the original service shop, “Mr King auto services center”, would not take any responsibility for a the tire that was purchased and installed by them 6 months prior. I went to Mr Tire 2 days after this happened and was basically told there was nothing they could do and said it was the alignment. Firestone said my alignment was fine and gave me paperwork to show what was checked. Cooper P215/50R17 (90W)

- Date Of Incident: 2024-10-11
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-15
- VIN: JTDKN3DU0E1
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: My 2014 prius experienced a failing brake booster actuator assembly. I was driving when suddenly my traction control light came on and my brake pedal turned mushy. I pulled over to a parking lot and put my vehicle in park. As soon as I did this, the ABS and parking brake light both turned on. I had the vehicle towed to the Toyota dealership. They diagnosed the problem as an internal leak in the brake booster actuator assembly. This is a common problem with these vehicles, but instead of Toyota issuing a recall, they only did an extended warranty coverage of which my prius didn't fit the parameters. Now I am stuck with a vehicle that is unsafe to drive and a repair estimate of $3,900 because of one of their parts failing. This should clearly have been made a recall with the volume of prius owners experiencing this problem. What a disappointment after having 3 Toyotas for many years.

- Summary: On [XXX] my brakes failed while driving, (brake booster and actuator) moving at 25 mph, all of a sudden lights ABS and brakes indicator light started flashing and beep. I was approaching a yellow light and attempting to slow down, my foot went to to floor and the were NO BRAKES. I used the EMG brake slow down me pulled into an empty parking lot. My vehicle is available for inspection at request. My safety was was put at risk due to having no control and coming very close to crashing into another car putting that driver at risks as well, but was blessed I was able to avoid an accident. This problem has been confirmed by Phillips Toyota in Leesburg FL #(352)728-3020. The vehicle components have not been inspected by others besides the dealer. I am 2 months over the 10yr customer support program at 102k miles. I have been complaining for the past YEAR to the dealer regarding strange noises like chirping, air deflating when pressing brakes, constant buzzing sounds from system even when car is off, and being propelled forward when going over gravel or railroad track surfaces of the ABS light goes on. This is on record and each time I’d ask, they’d mention it is the brake booster going but because there was no indicator lights or code coming up, they were unable to do anything. My last service in may 2024, I requested a diagnostic on the brake system, which I paid extra for, knowing the 10yr program was about to be expired in July. The dealer found no codes and assured me it was safe to drive and that if I were to see those warning light come on, that I was to drive the car straight to the dealer to inspect. Well, long story short, the lights came on, and immediately the were NO Brakes and I was completely out of control with no time to drive it safely to the dealer. I had it towed to the dealer and they quoted me $3000 to repair brake booster/actuator. I am working with Toyota corporate for compensation. This is a major safety issue that should be a RECALL! This puts the drivers, myself and fiance, at risk of catastrophic collision in the event that the brakes fail while driving. I will call Toyota to obtain a replacement of the system that has occurred with many other drivers. The vehicle has not been inspected by manufacturer yet but it is important to know that this is a serious problem that could kill people. The problem was identified when warning lights came up on the dashboard but there is also a sound coming from the brake actuator that shows a problem. The problem is due to manufacturer error, I have driven the vehicle normally.

- Date Of Incident: 2023-02-15
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-11
- VIN: JTDKN3DU5D1

- Summary: The car has been making an intermittent buzzing sound that I now have had diagnosed as a failing Brake Booster Actuator. This part is integral to safely stopping the car. Though the actuator has apparently been failing for months, there have not been any DTCs associated with it. I now find that there was a Customer Support Program regarding this issue which has since expired. It is referred to as "Customer Support Program ZJB" and it refers to T-SB-0024-19. Had I been notified of this, I would have had the brake issue corrected before the program expired.

Toyota Prius v 2013
- Date Of Incident: 2024-02-27
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-06
- VIN: JTDKN3DUXD1
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: Brake Booster failed last February 2024 while driving. The mileage at that time was around 89,270. Found out there was customer service support program for this issue that run through 2023. Since I bought the car used from Honda of Capitola (2018), I didn’t get any notification or unaware of this CSP. And the issue came out only this year. Had I know about this letter, I could have this inspected by Toyota. This is very unusual to have a brake booster failed with less than 100K. Called Toyota for assistance but they said I’m passed the CSP service date. Paid $3343.22 to have the car fix last 3/27/24. There should be a recall of this problem as more and more Toyota owner are still having this same issue. Thank you.

- Date Of Incident: 2024-08-27
- Date Complaint: 2024-10-01
- VIN: JTDKN3DU7E1
- Components: SERVICE BRAKES
- Summary: So my wife is pulling into our driveway with my little ones and notices the ABS, traction control and Brake light come on. I then had the vehicle looked at by a local Toyota dealership and they tell me I'm getting code C1391 and that it's a known issue. They then tell me I'm out of my extended customer support warranty time frame and I will have to pay. According to NHTSA this is a known defect on this vehicle and it affects more than 100k Toyota Prius vehicles. So basically, we've been driving around in a vehicle that the brakes may fail at any moment and potentially kill us all but is only addressed by the manufacturer when the known failure occurs. Even then, they only address it if the error occurs during their set time frame. It seems this has been brought to NHTSA's attention on a few occasions and nothing has been done. I would think brakes are something that warrants a recall on a known defect. Thankfully my wife and kids weren't doing 70mph down the highway when the brakes all of the sudden stopped working.

Vehicle year: 2013
That repair last year was really painful. My technician told me he wouldn't have done it, and it ended up costing me $2000. However, after another year and only about 7000 miles additionally driven, I'm happy to report that the car has been trouble-free. My travel situation has changed, and I'm driving very few miles now. This car may last me into retirement and beyond. All systems work, the interior looks great, not a rattle to be found, and it runs great. It's just a terrific car. I've had a few pricey repairs, like the rear passenger side shock that had a slow leak and the passenger side door actuator that failed, but other than that, it's still a rock-solid car. Now, with 108,000 miles and being 6 years old (as of Sept 13), I plan to drive the wheels off of it. The lifetime fuel economy remains at 38 MPG, and it has been lower this summer due to the excessive heat we've had, but from tank one it has averaged 38. Just took it on a 500-mile round trip road trip, and it averaged a little over 39. Routine maintenance has been inexpensive, and all in all, I'm very pleased. This car is as dependable as a car can be. It still looks as good as new, with the exception of some of the perils of the road like rock chips, etc. I did put new tires on it, and the dealership recommended some times (Nitto) that were not low rolling resistance. The tires are great in terms of road quiet, handling and comfort, but they hurt my road mileage - it averages around 37 on the highway now. My plan is to drive this car long enough that I'll need tires again, and I'll go back to the Michelin low rolling resistance tires. As for the rest of the vehicle, it still looks like it did when I drove it away from the dealership. Darn thing just works. It's a tie with my wife's 2013 Camry XLE Hybrid for This Prius is not wasteful, but it's not exactly 'green' either. Although I don't usually haul kids, I do haul 'stuff' sometimes. So far, I haven't needed to haul anything (Home Depot, etc.) that this Prius couldn't handle. I traded in a beautiful, fully loaded 2012 Tacoma - 4 door, 4WD, TRD Sport Edition (17 MPG) - for this Prius. Why? Fuel economy, and I love gadgets. This car is my 'fun to drive gadget.' Yes, I called it 'fun to drive.' Why? Because I enjoy trying to squeeze the most fuel economy out of it that I can, and I'm getting a 'real' 42 mpg - calculated manually (trip computer says 44-46 usually.) And it's a Toyota - amazing quality.

I opted for the larger version of the Prius and went with the four package as it had all the necessary technology for me. Although the five package had some cool features, they were not essential for me. While the acceleration may be slow, it has helped me become a better driver from a safety and economy standpoint. However, there are a few things I would like to mention. Firstly, the back-up beep is loud and obnoxious and unfortunately cannot be turned off. Secondly, the control for the heated seats is awkwardly placed and requires me to take my eyes off the road and bend over, making it difficult to use while driving. Lastly, the size of the digital entertainment/navigation system display is a little too small in split screen mode and there is no option to choose a single screen. It would be great to have a 1 screen view option.

The Prius v reminds me of the new 1979 Pinto wagon my wife and I went on our honeymoon in, but only in the most basic ways such as the color. When my friend started driving Priuses in '06, I made every kind of joke possible, including one about buying two Corolas, one for Sunday, for the same money. However, I eventually decided to give it a try and bought a '16 model 2. I have been in hybrid bliss ever since. I traded in my Honda Fit, which was causing me pain, for the Prius. Not from a lack of reliability or the type of pain that sprouts from a hip pocket, but because it was cheap and very good. I was beginning to avoid driving because of the neck and shoulder pain it created. Fortunately, my new car rides smoothly and the seat has allowed me to drive for up to six hours without my neck throbbing. Some critics complain about the lack of acceleration, but I have not felt underpowered even in heavy interstate traffic. The Prius is quiet, really quiet, and pedestrians are frequently surprised by it in parking lots. Oh, and the mpg, 45.8 in the first 2500 miles with the AC blasting away. Even though I got the lowest trim level, the Bluetooth works perfectly, and the back-up camera is great. All in all, it is a well-thought-out design. The door openings are very wide, making it easy for this senior citizen to access every area. I have yet to lay the back seats down and actually haul something. The car is so nice I don't want it to be utilitarian. I had the windows tinted. 57 months later and it still feels tight like a much newer car than one that is a couple of hundred miles less than 90,000. I have kept the oil changed and replaced the tires twice. A road hazard destroyed two of the second set. I have never kept a car so long. I am saving this one for my grandson, who is 7. Well, I intended to save it for the kid, but the Toyota dealer offered me so much I traded it in on a hybrid Camry. We traded in our Honda van and now only have one car. This has allowed us to save over $5,000 in 12 months, which will help us go back to France in 24. Although the Camry doesn't allow me to bring back as many semi-antiques, it gets 56 mpg and I love it just as much as my previous Prius. The Camry is plain white and doesn't draw unwanted attention. On the first anniversary of my car's purchase, I had clocked 22,000 miles. My wife and I have enjoyed traveling in the Prius to visit antique shows and family. It has plenty of space for our needs, including hauling plants and antiques for our booth. I've also appreciated the free 2-year service provided by Toyota and plan on staying loyal to my dealer. Overall, I'm very happy with my Prius and the savings it has provided us.I am thrilled with my Prius v, it is my favorite car yet! If I ever have to replace it, I would definitely go for the highest trim level to get the JBL radio. The only downside is that the dash tends to show dust. My wife has retired and now I don't get to drive my car every day. She has an Odyssey mini van that gets a little more than half of the mpg I'm getting in the Prius. It's a nice ride, but it's not a Prius. It feels big and bulky, and can be difficult to park, but it does seat eight. I have had no problems with my Prius, but I do take it in to the dealership for service. The first 24,000 miles are free, and they even rotate the tires. I had a bit of a medical emergency that resulted in an ambulance ride, and my young GP parked my Prius in a safe place. I was afraid to leave it in the main parking lot overnight, as I am quite possessive of my car. He asked me as I was being rolled along on the gurney,

Great driving in the city and on the flats. While it may struggle a bit on the hills and on-ramps, even in Power Mode, the Prius is a reliable car.

You have a really good car! It has already clocked 10600 miles and you've already had your first oil change. That's great! Your car is averaging 39 miles per gallon, which is impressive.

When we were searching for a car that had both high real MPG and good utility, we found that our choices were limited. We had to either sacrifice MPG or cargo space. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the Prius V met all our needs and more. In fact, it outperformed its only competition, the C-Max, in terms of real-world mileage and cargo room. We opted for the Model 5 with the 17

In November 2012, I purchased a Volvo XC60 to transport my kids and my large dog. However, after only 4 months, I realized that it was getting a poor 15 mpg and decided to trade it in for a new Prius V. Although the gas mileage isn't as good as I expected, I still get good gas mileage, averaging 33 mpg after 8 months. My husband thinks I accelerate too quickly, but I believe it's because I'm carrying an extra 125 pounds of dog that he isn't. Regardless, it's twice as fuel-efficient as both my previous minivan and Volvo XC60, so it's a win. I do miss the luxury of the Volvo, though. The seats were more comfortable, and the doors were more solid. The Prius V doesn't feel cheap, but it's certainly not luxurious. At least it has built-in navigation.

This car is really fun to drive! It's sporty and has no problem getting up to speed to pass. I especially love the cruise control that keeps you from accelerating beyond the settings even on a long, downhill slope. However, it's important to note that you may not get the full 50mpg as advertised unless you're driving at a slower pace. Regardless of where I drive (mountains, freeway, city), I never get better than 46 mpg. The zippy, tight turns and easy parking may take some getting used to, but it's worth it. The rear storage area is larger than it appears, and it seats five people comfortably. Although, like most cars today, you will have to move anything you have in the storage area to change a tire. I did have to find a cushion to raise the seat up to a good driving level, since seat height is not adjustable. If you have lower back issues, you may need to find another cushion since there's not much support there. The backup camera is standard, but the rear visibility is not great. However, the visors do cover most possibilities. The climate controls, digital displays, and navigation can be a bit tricky to operate, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. Overall, this car is a great choice for anyone looking for a fun and sporty ride!Toyota used to have a really user-friendly three-dial control system. It was so intuitive that you could easily adjust the temperature to your liking by simply turning the dial to the red zone if you were too cold, the blue zone if you were too hot, or the white zone if you wanted outside air mixed in. It was incredibly effective and easy to use. Plus, you never had to worry about your furry friends accidentally changing your settings!

Update: Unfortunately, the gas mileage of this Prius continues to fall, with an average of only 36.1 (although the Toyota computer thinks the overall average is 38.1!). This is not up to the usual standards for a Prius. While some Prius Vs get great gas mileage (mid 40s), others, like this one, get terrible gas mileage. It's frustrating that I can't turn it in as a lemon, but the Toyota techs say the difference between actual and computed is within tolerances. To me, this feels like false advertising. Unfortunately, the rating system above does not have an area to mark Toyota down for poor fuel economy and disinformation provided by the MID. On a positive note, the radar dynamic cruise control is great, but the pre-collision system falls short to the point where one wonders if it is working. Even when set at the greatest distance for protection, it rarely engages except as (or after) braking in a true emergency situation. In my personal opinion, this is not a good implementation. However, the radar dynamic cruise control appears to work as one would expect (if a car pulls in front of you, it automatically decelerates up to and including braking if required) at a comfortable distance (that you set in a similar fashion). If you are going to be moving something long, please note that the front seats do not fold forward, you need to remove the headrest and fold them back before folding the back seat forward. Overall, it has been a very good car so far and it has a surprisingly comfortable ride.

After previously driving a 2009 Prius, I had high expectations for this more expensive model. While the car rides and handles nicely, I was disappointed to find that it strains to go up hills and the fuel economy is not as good as I had hoped. However, I do appreciate the safety features and cargo space that the Prius V-5 model provides. Although the sound system is not the best, it is still a reliable car with low maintenance costs. Overall, I would recommend this car for its reliability and safety features, but keep in mind that the fuel economy may not meet your expectations.Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I noticed some spots on the front of the moon roof that are starting to look a bit unclear and pitted. It might be worth taking a closer look at it soon!
