I hope you're doing well! I wanted to share my experience with my Porsche. It has 60,000 miles on it and I've owned 4 Porsches in total. I must say, this is the finest, most comfortable, and reliable Porsche series ever built! Although they can be expensive to maintain, I take mine exclusively to Porsche and it runs perfectly. I'm even getting 18-19 mpg in the city, which is rare for an exotic car. The key is maintenance. It's important to replace the distributor every 50k due to the belts inside, which costs approximately $2800 with a proper tune-up. Additionally, when the engine seals need to be replaced (there are quite a few of them), it costs around $2000 total. However, when serviced properly, they don't leak oil. Lastly, the A/C and heat work wonderfully, unlike older models with the red, pull-up lever that freezes before the heat kicks in. I hope this information is helpful to you!

I'm so excited to share my experience with my 1991 Targa! It's actually a replacement for my beloved 1973 Targa, which I had to let go of a long time ago. Although Targas can have their issues, I absolutely love them! There's nothing quite like the feeling of driving with the top off and enjoying the low noise experience of a Targa. The 1991 model is in near perfect condition and drives like a dream. The AWD system is amazing and makes cornering feel like you're on a rail. The power is smooth and the exhaust has a confident growl that I just love. The only issue I've had is that the a/c doesn't work, but I'm sure it can be fixed. However, I usually have the top off when I'm driving, so it's not a big deal for me. I'm happy to say that there are no other mechanical problems or oil leaks. Overall, this is an amazing drive!

The tiptronic transmission is a great feature that allows for easy use in rush hour traffic, and can switch to manual mode for a sportier driving experience.

This car is very simple to maintain. However, the MAF box may lose calibration and it can be difficult to find someone with enough mechanical knowledge to tune it. For cars of this age, the struts may be worn out and expensive to replace. The A/C system is not very efficient, so it's best not to drive on hot days unless you have the top down. When parking the car, always remember to close the top to prevent the leather seats from sun bleaching. If parking in a garage, place cardboard under the rear of the car to catch any oil drips from the engine case. It's also a good idea to drive it around the block once a week to keep everything lubricated. By the way, the American Roster was not based on the 356 Speedster, but rather on the 930 Turbo without the turbo. Have fun driving your Porsches!
