I've been driving this car for two years now and it's been running great. One of the best things about this car is its gas mileage. While there aren't many tuning options available, you can purchase mods for a 95-98 Sentra with the same engine size and type and they'll work just fine. I've added a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, and street springs, and the performance is now amazing. Overall, this is a great car that's also lightweight.

I bought this car when I got tired of my 2-liter Ford Escort Sport Se. I must say, this car is awesomely powerful, even though the engine is only 1.6. I took civics and focus without much effort. I would like to get the SE-R for the 4 wheel disc breaks and more power, but it comes at the cost of gas mileage, power windows/doors and sun/moon roof. I wouldn't mind a 2002 Sentra SE-R Spec V, but they are still too expensive and most likely will be cop magnets. That's why I want a '98 SE-R, because no one expects too much out of it. This car is great and I highly recommend it to everyone! I have a black car with a custom grill and grey seat covers. The car looks awesome!

When looking to buy a car for a high school teenager, it's important to consider their desire for a fast and good-looking car. I believe this car has great looks, and while it may not beat any decent DSM's, its handling is superb. Additionally, it's the most reliable car I've ever known. Nissan builds cars like rocks, and a spin around the block solidifies this. The transmission in this car is incredible - everything is point-to-point, with no 'grey gears' to be felt. While it may not keep up with those DSM's in a race, it will definitely outlast them. Plus, let's not forget who has working AC. :)

The 200SX is an excellent car for young people who may not have the budget for a luxury sports car. With a few modifications, it can be transformed into a sportier coupe. Simply replace the 14-inch wheels with 16-inch ones and you'll have a new, powerful look! Additionally, I have not experienced any mechanical or electrical issues with this car.

I owned a Nissan 200sx for about 3 years and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The paint topcoat had a defect which caused the car to lose its shine and appear rusted and worn after the first wash. Despite being under warranty, Nissan was unable to repaint the car. Additionally, the battery died 4 times and the interior lights broke after the first month. I eventually traded the car in for a 2000 Chevy Blazer. Although I was only able to get $5300 for it, I was happy to move on from the Nissan. Overall, my experience with the car and Nissan's customer service was not ideal.

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to share my experience with my car. I've had it since 1998 and my 5-year lease is almost up (yay!). Overall, I've had a positive experience with no mechanical issues, but I did want to mention that I found myself outgrowing the 200SX pretty quickly. While it's great on fuel economy, it lacks power and comfort. I would recommend considering this car for purchase only if you're a teenager or a very petite young lady.
