I TESTED THE VEHICLE UPON DELIVERY AFTER THE SERVICE AND FOUND THAT THE CAR SPONGY FEELING CONTINUED. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. ON A PREVIOUS SERVICE THE CAR WAS CHECKED FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. WE HAD A PREVIOUS LEXUS ES 00 FROM 1997 AND THAT PROBLEM WAS NOT PRESENT. I HAVE TESTED OTHER LEXUS VEHICLES AND THE BRAKES ARE VERY DIFFERENT (LEXUS LX470, LEXUS RX300, LEXUS RX330), I ALSO HAVE A MERCEDES C240 THAT SHOWS TO HAVE VERY SENSITIVE BRAKES AND YOU FEEL SECURE WHEN BRAKING EITHER WET OR DRY. I HAD A 1992 TOYOTA CAMRY THAT HAD ALSO VERY GOOD BRAKES. *LA

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to check in about my experience with my car. You might remember my previous post from 4/26/10, which was listed by 'W.' Since purchasing the car back in Oct. 2009, I've put almost 40,000 miles on it (now at 136.5k miles) and it's still running beautifully! I use it for courier work, which means lots of stop and go driving, but it never hesitates. I did have to replace an O2 sensor, which cost around $300, but other than that and basic upkeep (tires, oil changes, brake pads, tune-up), this car has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. If you're looking for a car that can handle high-mileage driving, I highly recommend using synthetic oil to keep the engine at peak performance. Thanks for reading!

I hope you're doing well! I just wanted to share my experience with this vehicle. I purchased it about a year and a half ago and it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. My friend also has one, his is a bit older (1997), but he has never had any issues with it. He just changes the oil and puts gas in it, and that's it. It's truly a great vehicle!

This is my first car and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! It's incredibly comfortable, has a smooth ride, and is very spacious. The luxury that comes with owning a Lexus is truly unparalleled. The air conditioning system is perfect for hot summers and it's digital, making it easy to adjust while driving. Now, all my friends are interested in investing in one too! I love this car so much that I talk about it like it's a real person. That's my Junior!

The suspension might feel a bit stiff, so would it be desirable to have it adjustable? It could also benefit from larger-diameter wheels. The paint is a bit fragile and can be easily chipped. If you're looking for a cooler ride, darker window-tinting might be desirable. Additionally, having a more easily accessible cabin air filter would be great.
