- Summary: I purchased this car just 10 days ago. The first night that I got it I went in the garage and smelled a lot of gas smell. Many people including myself have their gas water heater in the garage and I started to really panic. I googled the issue and it's apparent that this is a very common issue on the 2008-2013 corvettes and GM has used a faulty fuel pump module that started deteriorating over short period of time. I had a very sleepless and stressful night that night in fear of me waking up to a garage fire. I beg of you to please start a recall on this before anyone loses their life and their house
