2005 Bmw 645ci problems
The second generation of the BMW 6 Series consists of the BMW E63 (coupe version) and BMW E64 (convertible version) grand tourers. The E63/E64 generation was produced by BMW from 2003 to 2010 and is often collectively referred to as the E63.
The E63 uses a shortened version of the E60 5 Series chassis and subsequently shares many features. The car initially drew criticism, due to its controversial styling and complicated iDrive system.
The M6 model was introduced in 2005 in coupé and convertible body styles. It is powered by the S85 V10 engine shared with the E60 M5, and most M6s were produced with a 7-speed automated manual transmission ("SMG III").
In March 2011, the BMW 6 Series (F06/F12/F13) began production as the successor to the E63.

Common 2005 Bmw 645ci problems
The BMW 645ci, a luxurious and powerful vehicle, has been known to have several common problems that owners have reported. These issues range from mechanical to electrical problems, and some can be quite costly to fix.
One of the most common problems with the BMW 645ci is transmission failure. The automatic transmissions on the V8 cars, including the 645ci, have been known to have issues since the '97 7 series. This issue is particularly prevalent in the 645ci, with some owners reporting transmission faults at as low as 110 miles.
Another common problem with the BMW 645ci is electrical issues. The car's many sensors can go bad, and the radio and display can stop working without warning. The transmission can also go into limp mode without warning, and the cheap plastic coolant tanks can rot, leading to coolant leaks. Additionally, random warning lights can appear on the dashboard, indicating various issues with the car's systems. These electrical issues can be challenging to diagnose and fix, often requiring the expertise of a professional BMW mechanic.
The BMW 645ci's engine can also have issues. Some owners have reported rough idling at start-up, white smoke blowing out after sitting at a red light when taking off, and engine failure.
Despite these common problems, the BMW 645ci is still a popular car among enthusiasts. With proper maintenance and care, the car can last for many years and provide a luxurious and enjoyable driving experience. However, potential buyers should be aware of these common issues and be prepared to invest in regular maintenance and repairs to keep the car running smoothly.
In summary, the BMW 645ci is a powerful and luxurious vehicle that has been known to have several common problems. These issues include transmission failure, electrical issues, and engine problems. While these issues can be costly to fix, with proper maintenance and care, the car can provide a enjoyable driving experience for many years to come.
