You have a 2012 IS250 with AWD and NAV. The interior is of very high quality and the seats are comfortable, although the backseat is a bit tight, it is still comfortable. The ride is a bit stiff, but the handling around corners is excellent. The power steering is a little stiff for being electric, but you can have the dealer look into that. The gas mileage is good for a V6 (27 MPG). It has a very sporty look and gets admired by other drivers.

I am 18 years old and received a Lexus as a graduation present. I absolutely love it and have no complaints. While the backseat is a little small, I don't sit back there so it's not a problem for me. Although the brake dust can be a bit much, I just wash it off and it's as good as new! The design is wonderful and my car is beautiful!

I agree with the general review. The power of the 250 is adequate, but not inspiring or thrilling. The fit and finish inside is nearly flawless, except for the underfloor 'pumpkin' that significantly sticks into the driver's leg/feet area. This may be due to the AWD model I bought, but it was still irritating on long drives when using cruise control and moving your feet around. The only other issue was the navigation system. The disk for the nav system (which became unreadable 2 days after I bought the car) is housed BEHIND the electric clock panel, which takes special tools to remove (nearly impossible to do yourself). Otherwise, the amenities inside are very impressive (courtesy lighting is the best I've seen).

If you're looking for a car that prioritizes size, this may not be the best option for you. However, with the AWD, I can get close to 400 miles a tank, which is great for fuel economy. While the driver seat can sometimes cause lower back pain, I find it quite comfortable overall. Perhaps adjusting the lumbar support could help. This car is not only beautiful, but also incredibly fun to drive. As a Lexus owner, I can confidently say that this is the best car I've ever owned and I plan on keeping it for a long time. The only thing I would change is the sealed automatic transmission, as I would prefer to have the transmission fluid changed periodically to extend the car's lifespan. Overall, I give this car a 5 out of 5 and would definitely purchase it again. If you don't mind the backseat leg room or using premium gasoline, I highly recommend it.

What a great car! It has a very smooth ride, a fantastic sound system, and is extremely comfortable. I've run out of words to describe how much I love it. I tried the IS 350 for its bigger engine, but found the handling to be way too stiff and the road noise to be annoying. I don't even miss the extra horsepower. The BMW was spirited, but to get everything that came standard with the 250 would have cost another $5K or so.

Although the car has a sporty exterior and a willing chassis, it falls short of being a sports sedan due to its whimpy engine, unresponsive throttle, and transmission programmed by someone from the Prius team. However, it does deliver excellent gas mileage for a V6 and handles well thanks to the firm suspension, summer tires, and RWD. The steering is quick but numb. The interior uses top-notch materials, and the quality of assembly is very high both inside and out. While it is reliable, it may not be completely trouble-free, and you should expect to pay a premium for service at the dealer. However, their technicians are no better than those at typical Honda or Toyota dealerships.

The engine needed repairs, which is not a great reflection on the engineering. However, the dealership covered the cost as it was a recall. Unfortunately, I have also had to replace the motherboard, brake calipers, and deal with fluid leaks on my garage floor. Now, they are saying that I need all new axles. It's been quite a hassle, but I appreciate the dealership's help with the recall repairs.

I've owned this car for 2 and a half years now and it's a real beauty. I haven't had any quality issues with it and it's always been a pleasure to drive. While the acceleration and cornering could be improved, it's still a fun ride. The back seat is a bit small, but it's never been an issue for me since I usually only have 1 or 2 passengers. There are a couple of things to keep in mind though. Firstly, the wheel well on the driver's side is a bit narrow and has a protuberance that can make it uncomfortable to sit at times. As someone with a hip/SI joint problem, I've found that this can be a bit of an issue. Secondly, the warning lights can be quite bothersome, even for minor issues like a low tire. The low tire warning tends to go off frequently due to temperature changes, and only the dealer can turn it off.

I have owned three Lexus cars. My first one was a 2003 is300 and I absolutely loved it. However, I don't feel the same way about my current car. I have had several issues with it, including the airbag harness which cost me $2500 due to an airbag light, and the rear passenger axle which cost me $1000. Additionally, my exhaust has a leak which makes it loud, the door trim is coming off, and the window makes a loud noise and is slow when you roll it down. I have decided not to buy any more IS's unless it's the 300 again. Although I like the way the interior looks, it's not very comfortable for me as I'm 6ft tall. I have to push the seat all the way back and all the way down to get comfortable, and there's no headroom. I eventually sold my Lexus because it was burning 2 quarts of oil a month, which was disappointing. However, it never broke down on me. This is250 was definitely not like my is300 or my es330.
