The Jaguar E-Pace, a compact luxury SUV, has been reported by owners to have several common problems. These issues range from minor inconveniences to more serious concerns that can affect the safety and reliability of the vehicle.

One of the most frequently reported problems is the Engine Transmission Alert coming on and not turning off. This issue is often attributed to emissions problems, and while some owners have attempted to resolve it by checking their gas caps or filling up their tanks, these solutions have not been successful. Over time, the timing chains can stretch, leading to irreparable engine failure if not replaced. Jaguar introduced an upgraded design chain in November 2019 that eliminates this problem, but older models may still be at risk.

The EU6 exhaust system used on 2.0 diesel XE models also causes issues with the E-Pace, as the bulkhead gets in the way and requires a longer exhaust that runs around the bodywork obstruction
