Common Infiniti Qx problems

The Infiniti QX80, a luxurious full-size SUV, has been reported to have several common problems by its owners. These issues range from engine and transmission problems to electrical system malfunctions and infotainment system glitches.

One of the most prevalent problems reported by Infiniti QX80 owners is related to the air suspension system. Some drivers have experienced problems with the air suspension failing to maintain proper ride height or encountering leaks in the system. These issues can lead to a bumpy ride, uneven tire wear, and difficulty controlling the vehicle. To address air suspension malfunctions, it's essential to have the system inspected by a qualified technician. They can diagnose any leaks, worn components, or electrical issues and recommend the necessary repairs or replacements. Regular maintenance, including checking the air suspension system for leaks and ensuring proper fluid levels, can also help prevent potential problems.

The Infiniti QX80 is equipped with a sophisticated electrical system that controls various functions and features. However, some owners have reported experiencing electrical glitches, such as malfunctioning infotainment systems, intermittent power window operation, and dashboard warning lights illuminating unexpectedly. Diagnosing and addressing electrical system issues can be complex and may require the expertise of a certified technician. They can use diagnostic tools to pinpoint the source of the problem and perform any necessary repairs or software updates. Regularly checking the vehicle's battery health, ensuring proper connections, and keeping electrical components clean can also help prevent electrical issues.

Transmission problems are another common concern among Infiniti QX80 owners. Some drivers have reported issues such as rough shifting, delayed engagement, or transmission fluid leaks. These problems can compromise the vehicle's performance, fuel efficiency, and overall drivability. Addressing transmission problems promptly is crucial to prevent further damage to the vehicle. A professional mechanic can inspect the transmission system, including the fluid level and condition, and perform any necessary repairs or replacements. Regular maintenance, such as flushing and replacing the transmission fluid according to the manufacturer's recommendations, can also help prolong the lifespan of the transmission.

Infotainment system glitches are also frequently reported by QX80 owners. These glitches are typically software-related and can often be resolved through software updates and patches released by the manufacturer. It is essential to keep the infotainment system up-to-date, and if necessary, visit an authorized Infiniti service center for any required software fixes.

In summary, the Infiniti QX80 is a luxurious and powerful SUV that offers a comfortable and high-tech driving experience. However, it is not immune to common problems such as air suspension malfunctions, electrical glitches, transmission issues, and infotainment system glitches. By understanding these issues and implementing proper maintenance and timely repairs, QX80 owners can enjoy a smooth and trouble-free driving experience for many years to come.

Congratulations on your new car! I hope you enjoy picking up your 2012 QX today. It's great to hear that you found the car comfortable, powerful, and well-designed. I'm excited to hear more about your experience with the car as you own it. It's impressive that you were able to purchase a CPO with 45k miles on it for less than the cost of a new 2015 Ford Explorer Sport or Ford Expedition XLT. In comparison to other vehicles in its segment such as Fords, Chevy Tahoe LTZ, GMC Yukon, or 2010'ish Escalades, this vehicle appears to be heads/tails above the rest in terms of refinement, power, and MPG. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

I did a lot of research and read numerous reviews before making my final decision. It came down to the Cadillac Escalade and the Toyota Sequoia Platinum. However, the Toyota was just too overpriced for the vehicle, and the Cadillac Escalade is just a dressed-up Tahoe with too much plastic for that price. The Lexus LX570 is just plain old ugly. When you're up around this price range, it's hard to beat the QX. Infiniti needs to do a better job marketing it. Everyone asks me about it. Now, the MPG isn't great, but you know that when you buy it. Sorry, Cadillac! It's been a year since I bought it on 11/8/17, and the vehicle is still awesome. It's still turning heads and getting positive comments. It rides like it's floating on clouds. Infiniti/Nissan, please hire another marketing team here!

I had a 2008 Mercedes GL 550 that unfortunately got totaled due to water damage that affected the electronics. Although I miss the Mercedes' acceleration and cornering, I absolutely love the comfort and features of the QX56. I purchased mine for $26,400 with 104K miles on it a few years ago, and just crossed 156K yesterday. The only maintenance I've had to do outside of brakes and oil changes was when the rear air suspension failed. But, considering that it's a 10-year-old vehicle that is frequently overloaded with people, luggage, and a Thule on the roof rack, it's not surprising. We live in CT and drive round trip to MN twice per year very comfortably with 3 kids and 2 big dogs. The sound system, Bluetooth, and adaptive cruise control are all very nice features that were ahead of their time in 2011. I can only assume the newer models are even better. We also like the 22

Hi there! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to let you know that I bought this car two years ago from the first owner. It's been well taken care of, with all recalls addressed and routine servicing done by Motorwerks of Barrington. The timing belt has also been changed, so you don't have to worry about that. The car is in tip-top condition and is extremely comfortable to drive. I recently put on new Pirelli Scorpion tires, so you'll have plenty of grip on the road. Let me know if you have any questions!
