- Summary: Hello, For over 2 years now, I have had to get oil added to my vehicle multiple times (estimated 2-3 times after my regular interval oil change of 5,000 miles. I get the warning message from the engine stating low oil. I have taken my vehicle to a Lexus dealership, Lexus of Huntsville, AL to try and see what the problem is as this keeps happening and is an ongoing problem. I was informed no oil leak, but there is an internal problem in my opinion. I believe this is a safety defect as my engine could have major problems and possibly cause a fire, or harm to anyone in the vehicle. Also, I have spent additional money (estimated over $500.00 to get oil added in the amount of 2-3 quarts multiple times per every 5,000 mile oil change. I have recently called Lexus corporate (est 10 Jan 2022) and I getting no where as they asked me to go to the Lexus dealer and have it checked, but I have already done this a few times already with no success in fixing the problem. I believe the lack of oil is causing internal damage to my engine or some other possible major problem. The action I would like completed by Lexus would be to repair this problem at their own cost. I have over 179,915 miles on my vehicle now and want to continue to keep for a longer period of time. See some of my previous attached service history to see when the problem started. I SIGNED UP FOR DRIVERS.LEXUS.COM TO OBTAIN THE VEHICLE SERVICE HISTORY REPORT AND THE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED BACK IN 2012 WHICH WAS PAID OUT OF POCKET BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. 8 YEARS LATER AND ONLY 55,000 MILES MORE, THE SAME PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED. THERE WAS RECALL FOR THIS VERY VEHICLE IN 2016 BUT IT HAS ENDED IN 2018. NOW I AM STUCK OUT OF BEING ABLE TO FIX THE CAR DUE TO THE $3,833 REPAIR COST I CAN'T AFFORD. THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP WILL NOT HONOR THE RECALL SINCE IT HAS PASSED EVEN THOUGH THE REPAIR CODE IS DUE TO THE RECALL. - Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2007-2010 Lexus LS vehicles manufactured May 9, 2006, to July 20, 2010, 2006-2011 Lexus GS vehicles manufactured January 6, 2005, to September 10, 2010, and 2006-2011 Lexus IS vehicles manufactured August 30, 2005, to September 10, 2010. Due to anti-corrosion plating remnants, fuel may leak from where the fuel pressure sensor is attached to the fuel delivery pipe.
- Consequence: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

The car performs beautifully and is very quiet. Compared to other luxury cars, it saves me a lot of money on gas. I drove it 100 miles on the first day I took delivery of the car, and when I got back home, the fuel gauge was still on full as if it didn't consume any gas. I really like the way the gas engine goes on and off; you can barely feel the transition. Additionally, the CVT is very impressive, and you cannot feel any gear changes. When you step on the gas pedal, the car responds so quickly, it feels like driving a V12 car, only in a very refined manner.

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to share my experience with Lexus. I've been a loyal customer for 22 years and I finally ordered my dream car, the 2008 Lexus LS 600 HL- 6/2008. It was shipped all the way from Japan and I was so excited! Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with my order and I received the wrong car. I was disappointed, but I never gave up on my dream car. Eventually, I was able to purchase it from West Palm Beach FL on 10/25/13. While I did have some issues with the salesman, it was nothing compared to what happened during a road trip 3 weeks ago. My car broke down on the highway 419 miles out and I had to wait for 3 hours for Lexus roadside assistance. Unfortunately, they never showed up. Despite this setback, I still love my car and I'm grateful for the memories we've made together. Thank you for listening to my story!
