Is INFINITI Q70 reliable?
Having owned since new, there have been no problems with either with reliability or the quality of finish. The car drives well, has a nice interior and is very comfortable driving on the motorway. The negatives are the (regenerative) brakes which are fierce, inconsistent and in-town, let the car down badly.
Are INFINITI Q70 expensive to maintain?
The average annual repair cost for a INFINITI is $638, which means it has above average ownership costs. The other factors that contribute to INFINITI reliability include an average of 0.7 visits to a repair shop per year and a 10% probability of a repair being severe.
Why did Infiniti discontinue the Q70?
Discontinuation. In 2019, Nissan confirmed that the Infiniti Q70, Q70L, Q30, and QX30 models will be discontinued after the 2019 model year due to poor sales as people in Canada, Mexico, and the United States prefer to purchase crossovers and SUVs instead of sedans, hatchbacks, estates, convertibles, and coupes.

Infiniti Q70l 2019
- Date Of Incident: 2019-12-30
- Date Complaint: 2020-12-11
- VIN: JN1BY1PR6KM
- Components: STEERING
- Summary: MY 2019 Q70L HAS HEATED STEERING WHEEL. WHEN IT SAYS "HEATED" I DID KNOW IT WAS GOING TO BE THIS HOT. AT THE SAME TIME ON MY SPOUSE 2020 QX60 IT WORKS PERFECT. THE CONNECTING POINT ON THE STEERING IS THE MOST HEAT. AS YOU MOVE THE PALM ITS NOT THAT MUCH. I DID MENTION IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER. THEY DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER. THEY SAY ITS NORMAL. BUT FROM MY EXPERIENCE FROM MY PREVIOUS VEHICLES ITS NOT. AND THEN ITS CUT OFF EVEN IF THE SWITCH IS TURNED ON. I CAN UNDERSTAND IT CUTTING OFF AFTER IT GETS TO A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE. BUT THEN IT GETS COLD AND NEVER COMES BACK ON. YOU HAVE TO TURN OFF THE SWITCH AND TURN BACK ON. NOT GOOD FOR A LONG DRIVE IN A COLD WEATHER. NOT SURE IF ONLY HAPPENS IN 2019 Q70L MODELS.
